Gorgeous. Sounds amazing. Love the color with the black vinyl roof. Just a stunning classic Challenger.

Whether a few parts were NOT numbers matching, that car would still be SUPER COOL!
    Enjoy!!!!!

Nice car. I noticed a couple things besides the Chinese master cylinder. Those early cars normally have brushed wheel trim rings. The polished ones were later. Plastic grommet around the high beam selector. Chrysler never used those but they 'come with' all the aftermarket carpet kits so people use them. Never seen a car with OE carpet have one. Just a cut hole. The 'pedal trim' is a very rare option, especially on those cars, and is usually 'added' during resto. It's just not something that would typically get ordered on those cars, maybe an SE.

As a Chrysler dealership mechanic in the 70s, they did have the dimmer switch grommets.

@@garyszewc3339 Sorry, you're wrong. Totally and completely. I've had TONS of these cars, unrestored and untouched with mileage from a few thousand to a couple 10's of thousand from mid '60's to the late 70's models with OE factory installed carpeting and not a single ONE had a grommet. It's also been WELL documented by contemporaneous press and factory photos if you care to look. Your Bona fides as a 'dealer mechanic' don't impress me. Working there as a teenager or twenty something on a throwaway mass produced consumer product, this would be an extraordinary item to notice or recall. I'd be more impressed if you remembered what you had for lunch last Tuesday 4 years ago.

@@vincemajestyk9497 LMAO!!! I've got both of you beat. I've owned 6 million of these cars, have restored 6 million more. I survived the '70s disco era by eating Mopar parts, escaping the dealer through the sewer pipe, made my way to the nearest FoMoCo dealer, pooped out all of the parts and became world famous! 4 years ago last Tuesday as a matter of fact.

@@JobyJoby-iw2wr Sorry Joby dude, impressive as that feat is, 4 years ago you say? You've metastasized into EXACTLY what you've excreted! No doubt about that!
