Hi Joe. I know exactly what you mean re the BMW Verses the V Strom. I also have a R100RS which I have owned since new in 1988 and Suzuki SV650. I love owning the BMW but don't relay like riding her anymore. It is just a bit too tough on my old wrist solders and back. Good luck with the BMW bearing. Best wishes. Bob
Good luck with Mr Ks rear wheel strip and investigation. I finally stripped down my R100 Motorsport to replace that leaking neutral switch! Started about 3 weeks ago decided to do rear main seals, clutch pack and some cosmetic frame clean up. Big job! Not forgetting the rear wheel respray. Hope to be back on the road soon.
