Same. I get so scared and panicked I run for the treadmill just because I feel so lost and intimidated. I love that she shows how to adjust too. I’m 5”1 so my whole life is adjusting !😂

After trying it out for several days/weeks I came to realize it is actually perfect for WHY I bought it.This is not a workout, the resistance is, eh, it makes a bit of noise, not loud, and it isn’t very stable even with the mat. The mat certainly keeps the bike from sliding but nothing keeps the mat from sliding (if that makes any sense, lol). Mine is place on my hard wood floor. Maybe it would be better with a rug underneath??I sit for long hours for work and wanted something to keep my legs moving. This bike does exactly that! For the price it is amazing, it is compact, easy to use, light weight, keeps track of time, calories etc (not sure how accurate it is) but good little product. I am happy with it.
I’m going to the gym tomorrow on my own and def nervous but this is making me feel so much more prepared ty so much 😭

For the Shoulder Press, Incline Press, and MTS Row machines, were you suggesting to do one set for each arm in additional to three sets for both arms? Or were you suggesting three sets for each individual arm then three for both arms?

Are all the upper body machines in the same area in the gym or are they scattered? Same with leg machines. I get anxious to walk around and look for them 🥲
The machines are generally grouped together by muscle groups. I was nervous walking to find machines lol. 😢 but if you start going at a time with less people, it's less "eyes" on you.
In the video for her bicep curls, she's doing those in the part of PF that has all the yellow machines with the "green light/red light". Some PF facilities have more equipment. For example, My PF doesn't have a kickback machine, or a row machine. 😮
any advice for people that are just starting to workout and dealing with gym anxiety? idk why but working out in front of people makes me nervous because idk what i’m doing
It is very nerve wracking in general. You are not alone! I still get anxiety when I gym, especially when it’s been awhile.
If you don’t know what you’re doing, I recommend watching a lot of videos to get familiar with gym equipment, exercises, etc. try to do exercises at home in front of a mirror to see how you look & check on your form.
Dress comfortable, bring headphones & a good playlist, EAT before and after so you have energy, & I know its easier said than done but try not to worry about others. Chances are they may feel the same way as you anyways!! Focus on yourself🤍

Thank you, this was great! Stupid ? - Where do you keep your phone? Do you carry it or have a pocket or something to put it in? I want to bring a headset and use a playlist off my phone but have no idea where to put my phone lol
There’s a small “tray” on all the machines where you can place your phone/keys/water bottle if you need to. I use that and/or I love wearing leggings with pockets to carry my phone and car key, and I just place my water bottle on the tray.
I use a Fanny pack. Not sure how open you are to those, but I love mine.
I set my water bottle on the floor and then lean my phone against it. That’s what I’ve always done so im used to it😄

Should I do my own workout or 30 minute workout at Planet Fitness? Which one should I do to get fast results?
I personally don’t do the 30 min workouts unless i wanted to gym but didnt want to come up with a workout plan or just wanted to come in to do full body in one room. I prefer focusing on specific muscle groups at a time like leg day, back and biceps, ab day, etc.
How long does it take to get results at Planet Fitness?
