A few years back a group of political thugs went into Yucaipa CA (a moderate sized town) and, predictably, it didn't end well for them. A relatively small group of locals quickly formed and sent them packing, without doing any serious harm to them. They'd best focus on attacking cities controlled by politicians who excuse, or even embrace, political violence if they don't want to suffer consequences.
Perhaps worth a note, I have family near Yucaipa which isn't far from LA and I know the area. But having lived and worked all over the US I can say in my experience you generally don't have to go far from leftist urban areas to find Americans with traditional values who will absolutely take action to protect their communities and innocent people. And they are prepared to take it to whatever level is required. Might also be worth noting I haven't been a member of any political party for decades and couldn't care less about partisan politics. It is a good vs evil matter.

I understood they filmed the video at that location because it is local to where he lives now. That was said by Candice Owens who is good friends with the Aldeans and nothing more.
This is correct. This same location was used in a Disney movie Hanna Montana. No outcry then.
This court house is a known filming location. It’s been shopped as such. There has been several shows and videos filmed there.
I’m not sure that the lynching was THAT well known. None the less, someone had to go digging for that info and release it. Seems to me that someone is looking for a reason to cancel anyone and everyone.

Every historical building in this country has a history, and as a matter of fact lots of movies and videos was shot outside this courthouse, including an episode of Hannah Montana. The history of that building was never an issue. History is history, so instead of focusing on the history you need to strive to make sure it doesn't repeat. Big cities don't have that sense of community anymore and they need that back. Antifa went to two small cities, one in GA and one in another state try to start stuff, and as a unified community they chased them out of town. They haven't been back since.

The cornerstone was set a few months later on October 8th by Dick Porter, a man estimated to be over 120 years of age. As a slave, he worked on the two previous courthouses in 1808 and 1846. I like your views of this song. To me, this song is about how in a small town everyone knows everyone. While in a large town people think they are anonymous and can act however they want without repercussions.
I think you are right that the government is what is dividing the people of the country. As an example, we once referred to ourselves as Americans, and somewhere along the way we became hyphenated Americans. In my view, if you are dividing the population, that leaves a void where the powerful takes advantage of the vacuum to gain more power.
There are stories of rioters attempting this in a few small towns and got ran out of there by the community. JS Maybe it has happened somewhere before without pushback, but like you said, I haven't heard about it. Love the song myself. I haven't seen 1 reactor that thinks this song is racist etc. It was a "powers that be plot" that has failed imo.
Antifa packed up and left our small town of 5000 after 15minutes. They barely unloaded the bus, our youth surrounded them and stared them down, they left Peacefully. It all happened so fast, by the time people heard about it on the facebook vine it was over. People still showed up in droves though. After that the youth drove around with American flags waving from their trucks and cars for over a month. They still do it from time to time. I Love it.
Weatherford, TX. The media lied and said the Patriots were calling BLM/Antifa racist names. That's a lie. There were blacks and Mexicans on the Patriots side. I was there and saw it with my own eyes. I'm from Ft.Worth, I live now in a town 13 miles from Weatherford. Antifa/ BLM are afraid to go to small towns, not because they'll be lynched, shot etc. Patriots will stop then from toppling statues, destroying property, assaulting people. They won't let destruction happen. What Jason Aldean sings about is true.

Yes, it is possible to love your country and be patriotic and still hate the corruption or violence that you see going on. I think it would be hard for a small town to be attacked and not get back lash. If they were large enough yes they could, but it would be hard to pull off and if they did other small towns and "good ole boys and girls" would retaliate. I really loved your reaction. From what I've read Jason Aldean and the production company had no clue about the almost 100-year-old history of the courthouse. It was picked simply because it's a popular location for music videos and movies. The location was featured in a Runaway June music video for their 2019 song "We Were Rich," the 2022 Paramount holiday film "A Nashville Country Christmas" with Tanya Tucker, and Miley Cyrus' 2009 film "Hannah Montana: The Movie."2021 Netflix movie “Don’t Look Up.”
Criminals of all colors were hanged at Courthouses all over this Country. Hanging was a “thing”, ya know?

Our community is 1500 people and in 2020, when things got crazy, we formed a group to protect our property. For us, we organized an emergency system that will start a reaction amongst our neighbors. We're 9 miles from the county sheriff and 15 miles from a hospital. We're on our own in a crisis.

The lynching which was wrong but that happened in 1920. Over a hundred years ago. I read the article on that courthouse. It's were the State head It's execution before the prisons did them. Not to justify it, I'm stating facts.

I know you don't agree with everything in that song. But I do. And you're right it's not racist. I'm old school. I'm an old white Southern woman. Try judging any human by their own actions and believes. Yes i stand for ALL GOOD HUMAN BEINGS. But I grew up in the midwest transplanted to the south. This song is more about January 6 and the fact that the party that lost. The song is about the people of America that see what’s really going wrong with America. I’m mixed American and my family are mixed. But I’m trying to teach them how we should treat each other. The point is we need to do something about how people treat each other. If someone does something to my kids or family and friends. Or even someone like you for helping people understand how you feel. We are all friends and to watch the news and see what is happening.
