Hank Jr is one of the biggest OG’s in country. “Family Tradition “ another classic
I said the same thing. Gave you a like so he might pay attention. Like mine too just in case LOL
He has to do this one
Yes!!
We're getting it up there!
No. Hank Williams Junior is not the OG. Hank Williams Senior is the OG. Hank Williams Junior is the OG Jr.
Hank is entirely right. You can't starve us out because we can grow our own food, fish, and hunt. You can not make us run because we are not afraid. You can not shake our spirits because we follow God. Test us, and you will lose.
Absolute fact
Amen ....

We are all going to need those skills soon. 3 Days of Darkness on the way and it's going to test everyone 🙏. And no I'm Not religious.

Devil went down to Georgia- Charlie Daniels Band
He reacted to this about 8 months ago. ❤
Niiiiiiice
For Charley he needs to do In America
Please
Yesss that’s what I was gonna request too.
Hank put the single out in 1982, he re-released the song in 2007 to commemorate 25 years of the song. Only reason I know this is cause I grew up listening to this song...and I was born in 83.

Should we have him do David Allen Coe… whips and chains… rofl I would love to watch him. I don’t think UA-cam would let him post it
I graduated high school in 83' this was all over the radio for years for sure.

This man fell off of a mountain and lived to be here today and this song was done in 1982 or around that time he's an amazing artist
Exact reason why he grew his beard and kept it to this day, cuz of all the scars.
hell of a movie
There's a difference between a biker and a clubber, clubbers are the ones you have to watch out for! Bikers are some of the best people in the world!
we always told our boys that if they needed help to find someone in a leather vest like their PaPaw wears (my dad is a Biker). Usually you can tell by the patches on the cut. Too many think it's like SOA and that's just a tiny portion of the population & tell people there is a difference between a Motorcycle Club and a Motorcycle Gang, though I've seen both work together for a common good ~crazyass "churchy" people ^I don't use their name^, picketing children's funerals after a tornado.. I think the sea of Chrome might have blinded them 😉.
I grew up with bikers, who hung around clubbers. A lot of times, those rough bikers who aren't clubbers are still often associated with them.
@@johndeeregreen4592 and the sweetest ones often look like someone you don’t want to meet in a dark alley.

It's not just the country boys - don't overlook us country girls who were raised to be self-sufficient. We can hunt, fish, plow, etc (in my case Daddy also taught me to weld) and we are armed, too. For my upcoming birthday (71) my husband has promised me a new shotgun. Our oldest great grandson laughs that Memaw can outshoot both PaPa (my husband) and his father even though both were/are career military.
No one said it wasn’t country girls too. This is just a song about specifically country boys stupid
My mother was murdered over $46 at our 7-11 we owned in 1972, People do that. I speak as someone who grew up in Los Angeles and moved to a farming town in Northern California, us country folks are prepared and can and will survive.
Damn, brother, I never heard that from you before. That is terrible. Haven't been around in a bit, but still see you around once in awhile.
Hey buddy! Haven't talked to you on RHO in a long time, sorry. Hope you are well.
My uncle, who I am named after, was stabbed to death over his coat in a bar. Deep Southern Illinois. Sucks.
I’m a full blown metal head, but I was raised on outlaw country. I could give you a huge list of outlaw country songs, but I’ll just suggest my favorite old school outlaw country song by my favorite outlaw country artist. George Jones - “Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes”
His dad is the GOAT of country music. That’s all you need to know. Lol.
Yes, he was. A lot of people don't realize the impact of Hank SR did to music.
If the crap hits the fan, 98% of the city population is gone in less than 2 weeks without food or water.
Nope they gonna come for us and we aren't going to let them. We take care of our own first.
You mean when the crap hits the fan, right? Because it will.
in my area , abut 25-30 % mostly vet's . don't F around in western PA.
That's when it helps to know where natural springs are.... the cleanest and coldest water you'll ever drink, bubbling up amongst the rocks, right in your backyard.
As someone who has lived in the Country my entire life...I can assure you we will survive. I know some old farmers that have not stepped into a grocery store for over a decade other than to get sugar, flour and salt...Everything else is grown or hunted. They are completely self sufficient. Its a beautiful thing.
That's how my husband was raised.
His grand parents raised him.
They grew, and raised all the food they ate, except once every three months they would go to town to buy flour, sugar, salt, pepper, and a few other spices.
They milked their own cows, raised chicken and hogs, had a large garden. His grandmother canned a lot of it for the winter when the garden would go dormant, and they ate fresh fruits and vegetables they grew all summer.
It was a rare treat that they ate in a restaurant or bought anything else from the grocery store.
You forgot to mention yeast, and copper line!...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 👋🤠
and the vet's who CANT help will provide security.
@thomasgirty6397 I'm in that category! Just plop my can't hardly hobble to the kitchen ass in an overwatch position and rest or work easy. I can bang chest size plates at over 1,000m with several of my rifles that are in the gunsafe, guncase, and hard case's! That was before the terrible canoe incident, that is!..lol...from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 👋🤠
Hank Jr KICKS ASS!! 😊 Next do Hank's Family Tradition! ☺
looking for every comment that says this and liking their comment. Hopefully he'll do it
He wrote this after almost dying on a hunting trip out west
Ain’t this after he fell off a mountain

Hank Jr. is one of the few millionaires that is and has always been about that country life. He's a real one.
Listen to Hank Williams (Sr), "I'm so lonesome I could cry" or "I saw the light". That is old school country.
"They got us way too divided." You're right on the nose.
If poor urban people and poor country people ever compared notes, the politicians and corporations would be in trouble.
Family Tradition is an absolute must hear.
You want your mind blown you have to check out his daddy Hank Williams Sr. He is the granddaddy of country music. His writing is poetry.
Saw Hank live làst year and was just as good as he was in the early 80's!! Long live Bocephus!!
I got to see him in the 2010s, was a great show.
I saw him in April. He sounded great.
JUST sitting down after a busy day.
Livestock crashed the fence this morning and were out loose; something spooked them at 4am.
Collect my animals and temporarily ment the fence by 8am...
Then i started tracking... Up into the foothills to find the "Spookers"; which i eventually did.. bang bang bang bang bang bang.. "Spookers" down...
Just finished fixing the fence permanently now. Here it is 6:48pm and i have not eaten a thing yet today. My scheduled chores have not even begun yet today. I'll be finishing by tractor lights around midnight and up to start it all over again tomorrow morning at 5am.
Life is different for us Country Folk. I protected my livestock; but i ALSO protected my neighbour's stock. 😉
EDIT.. Neighbour of the left just stopped in headed by in his tractor for night time hay run. "I'll send down a machine and a few of my workers to help ya finish up for the day" COUNTRY LIFE! 😉
It was released in 1981. Hank is a rabbit hole worth diving down!!!
The greatest rural virtue is self-reliance. The second is generosity. ❤
Country music is all about storytelling.
Hanks hair is natural so is his beard which hides the scars from when he fell off a mountain; true story. I live in Florida if things go bad my family always heads into the swamp; where we can thrive, my family has been here for over 100 years, we know a few tricks. The same can be said to any country area no matter what State; people that live in the country tend to know how to get shit done.
Bro. Was raised in KY and grew up on Willie & Waylon (& highwaymen) via my parents then my personal taste grew into rap as I got older. This was the first song to get me back into country music with my own peers & was a straight 🔥anthem back in the day - and WAY older than ‘07!!!
Somebody send @Cliff the Bocephus box set quick!!!
HEY CLIFF! 😊SO HANK'S FATHER WAS ( HANK WILLIAMS ) HUGE STAR IN THE OLD DAYS AND HAD MANY HITS 👍HEY GOOD LOOKIN, YOUR CHEATIN HEART, I'M SO LONESOME I COULD CRY, THERE YA GO MAN!
I’m a proud country girl from Central Texas! We are prepared and ready to do what we have to do to survive and protect ourselves and our state!

This was and still is my favorite artist. Glad you reacted to Bocephus.
I named my cats after him, Willie & Jones: Meauxephus Williams, Willard Nelson Junior Jr, and G. Possum Jones
Other songs from Hank Williams Jr. to check out: Mr. Lincoln, All My Rowdy Friends (Are Coming Over Tonight), All My Rowdy Friends (Have Settle Down), I've Got Rights, and of course, Family Traditions.
My favorite is Mr weatherman
Hank and Waylon's The Conversation.
It really irked my tater when they changed the NFL song... I loved seeing him at the beginning of the games when I was little. It was the only part of football that I understood - the opening song 😂

The song actually was released in 1982. One thing I thought was interesting that I just noticed--and I've seen this video multiple times--even the teenagers hunting looked hard. Boys today could take note. 😛
This song came out in 1982 bro! Timeless! Bocephus! I got to see Hank and Lynyrd Skynyrd at legend Valley. Hank got so drunk he was falling asleep on stage while he was playing lol it was a hell of a time!
Hank is the son of the legendary country artist Hank Williams. Legendary is often used loosely, but Hank Sr is a legend among other legends. He was the most influential country artist in history. To really understand country music, you need to listen to Hank Williams, Sr.I would suggest starting with I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry and Lovesick blues.
In 4 years of watching music reactions, I’ve not seen One non-country reactor not get turned onto to greatness of Country and all it entails.
Unfortunately, none learn about these amazing Artist and their accomplishments.
Toby Keith. Chris Stapleton. Travis Tritt.
Iconic country songs? Charlie Daniels Band, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia". Kenny Rogers, "The Gambler". Garth Brooks, " Thunder Rolls". Reba McIntyre, "Fancy".
😂😂😂 you NEED to react to his song All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight, THAT is an ass KICKING song!..
And the follow up - All My Rowdy Friends (Have Settled Down) right after.
Waylon Jennings Mama don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys is a must my friend. Great reaction as usual my friend and Peace out 🙏 ✌️ ☮️
Born in '70's remember when this came out.
Glad you got ok the time to listen to Hank Jr. There a lot of good ol country songs out there. Wouldn't know where to start you down the rabbit hole.
I am a small town mountain girl there is something truly special about small towns and being in the country.
I am a 52yr old small town woman, I love to fish and can clean and fillet my own. I don't hunt or skin but I do can deer meat, we have lots of deer burger. I also can pressure cook squirrel and make squirrel salad that is as good as any ham/chicken salad ever made. I am a Navy veteran so I have been to my share of cities, including being stationed in Great Lakes, just outside of Chicago, I cherish my memories! When push comes to shove though, I will be able to keep me and mine comfortable longer because of my small town/country upbringing. At the core this what this song is about, not to mention, we have NO problem banding together and taking care of each other. That is RARE to find in even your smaller cities. ❤
Hank Jr is the real deal
The major cities will not only be attacked, but the wolves that live in those cities will prey upon the vulnerable.
I grew up the way this song talks about.
I hunted, fished and trapped.
I grew up with firearms an integral part of life.
We slaughtered our own livestock for meat and grew our own vegetables.
I can cut up a steer, hog, or any other critter you hand me as good as any butcher.
We also ate the meat I hunted, trapped and fished.
I sold furs for pocket money.
I worked on the farm from the time I could walk.
I started working for the neighbors on their farms when I was 10 years old.
Those were my first paying jobs.
I made $1.50/hour.
I thought I was rich.
We only had heat in the downstairs rooms.
We burned wood for heat.
it gets cold in the winter in SW Iowa.
I didn't know what A/C was until I was 18 and got my own place.
It gets hot in the summer in SW Iowa.
I wouldn't trade the way I grew up for nothing.
I grew up almost the same way .grandparents had no electricity or running water. Outhouse. Helped dad haul wood at age 8
@@melvinsmart9442 We did have running water but it was well water.
We had indoor toilets so you got me there. LOL
I have seen this video more times than I can count. I watched your face during your reaction. Your eyes said everything.
Props for giving this Country Music legend a listen. This is Hank's wheelhouse. No BS and keepin' it real.
Thank you for broadening your horizons in music. The wider your base, the taller your pyramid can rise.
It’s going to be the new style of the old west. We will be in it for survival.
Charlie Daniels "Leave this long-haired country boy alone." an anthem for many of us in the 70's.
He said, "Country boys can survive." Not city boys wanting to hide can survive. Hiding from anything. If you dont know country people in advance, you won't be taken care of when it hits the fan.
I'm not a country music fan personally, but I think this is one of the best songs ever written.... ANTHEM!
If anyones doing country first has to do "he stopped loving her today" george jones its the literal definition of country music
My daddy was quite literally the son of a sharecropper. He and mom were born just in time for the Great Depression in rural Mississippi. I can remember those trips vividly. No indoor plumbing until I was 5.
I am just fighting tooth and nail to get BACK to the rural life and closer to God.
Born and raised in the 'Sipp myself. 🤘
Family tradition
2007 lol You're precious.
Think you should listen to this song a hundred times over you are one of the best breakdown channels i have subbed to but there is a so much to learn from this song an why i still have hope for our nation
I’m going to call you out for your comment, “the men who have been doing this their entire lives.” Women know the same skills. I’m sure I’ve lost a few skills and would be rusty on some others, but when it’s been in your blood for generations, those things come back pretty quickly.
I agree. My daughter is deadly with her crossbow. She's shot a few deer.
Why not call out Hank for not saying "country girl" while you're at it. Wherever we boys are, our gals are right there with us. No need here.
Country Karen
@@gravypatron He said country folks...that not good enough? You must be liberal.
@@danrumble74 Just a little bit. Yeah.

one of the greatest country songs of all time.
Omg youve reacted to my favorite artist of all time Cliff your a legend 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I'm so glad to see Hank Jr. on your channel. I'm not a huge country music fanand I'm from the south, but Jr. is one of my favorite
This is an anthem where I come from. South Louisiana.
This song was originally released in January of 1982.
The video was made in 2007.
It pretty much describes how I grew up in the backwoods of the North Idaho Rockies. Self-sufficiency was just your way of life. Especially in the winter time.
The part where he says his friend was killed is a true story.
GOAT. Thats all you need to know
You are exactly right. I left Denver after over 30 years in 2020 because it is imploding. Moved to a town of 2,000 in a flyover state. The best decision I've ever made.
I hate Denver other than for the yards during Stock Show. I am from Logan County, CO but am attending school down in Texas County, OK. I couldn't afford Colorado State University for my agriculture degrees. I'm happier on the High Plains than in Communist Denver under Polis and I'm a butch lesbian who basically doesn't fit in the world with the city slicks. Leave me alone with my coyote hunting hounds, my firearms, my livestock and no one gets hurt.
i think if u do more Country u will see why people love it so much it tell story like no other music does
Fun to see you expand the channel
You should react to Charlie Daniels Band - Devil Went Down to Georgia, anything from Hank William (Sr.) and/or Marty Robbins. Also The Highwaymen - Highwayman. Willie Nelson - On The Road Again too
He reacted to devil went down to Georgia like 8 months ago. ❤
@@ginaarceciraymond I must have missed that somehow.
@@FriedBob that's okay, I miss ppls uploads all the time. Only reason why I know is bcuz BP dropped his reaction & I think cliff did at the same time. Either that or YT recommended it to me after watching BP's reaction. I can't remember exactly. Lol.
I grew up in and around Hanks stomping ground, a few miles up the road in South Alabama. I listened to his daddy Hank Sr. on my record player in the 60's. My favorite song back then by Hank Sr. is " My buckets got a hole in it" lol😂. Hank Jr's. momma was sick in the hospital one time in the early 70's where my momma was a nurse and took care of her. Hank Sr. is buried in Montgomery, Alabama in the city cemetery on a hill, wife is next to him. His grave site is something to see, has a statue of his guitar there. Hank Jr. Recently got married and now lives on his mommas old home place with his new bride.
Hank Jr was the first concert I went to and it just so happens to be the year this song came out.
I love this song by Hank. i was raised in the city but my parents were from Georgia and Nebraska I was raised COUNTRY . i can do everything hank talks about in this song. It is the real back bone of our country Go Bocephus!
All my Rowdy Friends by Hank next!!
Your comment about what will happen if the SHTF is so accurate. Those of us who live that way have an advantage for sure. I'm 65, hubby is 70. We grew up in the country. My family had more $$ than my husband's family. By the time he was 10, he and his younger brother were told to go out hunting and bring something for dinner. We can survive. At some point in time, we may have to defend what we have from city folk that want what we have. We have tried to teach others. Hubby was in Boy Scouts for almost 45 years. He taught many young boys to survive. The info is out there, learn how to survive. Peace out. ✌️ Grandma Shirley

Just started listening to your comments.. you're hiphop.. ok.. I was raised on Elvis by my Mom... Frank Sinatra by my Dad, taught myself classic rock and grew up on 80''s and 90's music.. My pop-Pop raised me on country music.. and country music will always be my favorite.. even though I'm a child of the 80's.. I love me some Hairbands.. but country music tells stories of life. it's good music
Country is my wheelhouse. You said let you know what you have to check out, i got you bro. Simple man by charlie daniels.
Someone probably already said, but this song is older than 2007. (1982) " A Country Boy Can Survive " is a song written and recorded by American musician Hank Williams Jr. The song was released as a single in January 1982 and reached a peak of number 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in March 1982.
Got 3 ya gotta check out.
1. Charlie Daniels Band- Long haired country boy.
2. Jamie Johnson - In color.
3. Justin Moore - If heaven wasn't so far away.
And another one -The South’s Gonna Do It Again by the Charlie Daniels Band!
The biker is Click Baldwin, owner of Carolina H-D in Gastonia NC. He was killed in a motorcycle accident in Montana in 2008.
Hank Williams Jr -The American way is another great one
You are a very positive guy. We need more of that.
I love seeing you branch out of your comfort zone!!!!
Classic and a great place to start. I am like you, 99.9999% rap but you cannot deny that Hank is amazing!!!
I’ve been watching you for a long time. I’m here for your country journey.
There is absolutely no way you haven't heard this! Am I that old 😭
Cliff, Chris LeDoux "This Cowboy's Hat" for sure...
Song is a lot older than 2007 it was released in 1982, also another fact Hank Jr. is the song of Hank Williams Sr. which has been regarded as one of the most influential artists in Country Music ever, Hank Jr. actually got his start by his mom having him sing covers of his Dad's songs, he was also in the car the night his father died, after he decided to start doing his own music he had a falling out with his mom over it, and one last thing the sun glasses he actually wears all the time due to facial scars he has from falling down the side of a mountain when he was younger, he is very self conscious of how he looks because of it.
As noted by another comment.
This was posted in 2007, but it was released in 1982.
We, in the south, still live by these means.
So this was the era of what was coined "Outlaw" country. Hank Jr, David Allan Coe, Waylon, Willie, Tompall Glaser, Jessie Colter et al. Many, many bikers listened to this. My dad and brother did. All of the "family" (bikers) did. We listened to rock as well. I also listened to his dad, Hank Williams, growing up.
