    Thanks for the info! I'm a beginner with mechanic stuff and the links to the parts make everything much easier

      No problem!! I don't have a background in mechanics at all. I learned little by little by trial and error. So have fun with it!

    It is interesting, the amount of attention I get on my mini bikes… the usual response is “can those even handle the trails?” - yeah, they can. People seem to love seeing them though. I’ve got 250cc 4-stroke dirtbikes, I’ve got an ATV, a handful of minis. The fun factor on the mini bikes is really hard to beat. They go every bit as fast as you want to go on a trail, they’re easy to catch air on whooped out sections, and they handle deep sand trails like a boss. If you’re looking for a cheap way to get out on the trails with a nice simple bike to maintain, mini bikes are awesome. If you want more technical riding on rough endure trails, probably look at a good trail specific dirtbike.

      I agree 100%! The funny looks turn into inquisitive ones once they see us rip down the trails haha. I love getting the bikes into alpine lakes for some fun fishing adventures. What's your favorite mini bike model?

      @@TregsTravels I have an old unknown model, and a couple of Colemans (CT200U, 200U-EX)… buddy has the new RB200… I honestly like the Trailmaster Hurricane the best. I would trade a couple of mine for one of those, because it has all the extras you want for the trails and hard riding. That being said, my EX is pretty awesome to rip down the trails with.

    Great video, sir. That new motor you installed, does it vibrate like the factory motor that came with the bike? I still have my factory motor, and it vibrates really badly at top speed that it makes my hands itch and hurt. Thumbs up on your video buddy. 👍

    • @TregsTravels
      @TregsTravels  2 місяці тому +1

      I put a rubber mat under the motor mount and that helped a lot with the vibration! Also, make sure all the bolts on the front fork and handlebars are super tight and that will help with the vibration 👍 glad you liked it!

      Yep! I used that same mount for the 196cc that comes on the bt200x 👍🏻

    What throttle tube/assembly are you using to be compatible with the nibbi cable.. mines got to much forward play without a stop

    • @TregsTravels
      @TregsTravels  4 місяці тому

      I just used the stock setup, I had to adjust it a little bit but there's no forward play. I just used the nut on the throttle tube and that was enough to tighten it

    The money you saved on rear suspension can be spent on your future spine surgery😮

      Haha you're definitely not wrong...I honestly slightly stand up on the pegs when I'm going over rocky terrain so it doesn't hit me too hard. The new Coleman's with rear suspension are very appealing!

    Sweet bike! It looks like you have a rubber pad between the riser plate and the frame, did this make a difference with vibrations to make it worth doing, and what did you use?

    • @TregsTravels
      @TregsTravels  5 місяців тому +1

      You're right! I actually think it has helped a lot with the vibrations. I also like it because mud and water don't get under my riser plate either. I found these at Home Depot. They sell them in packs but I went into the store and they had some loose ones laying around that they sold me 👍 www.homedepot.com/p/Survivor-SportFloor-Eco-Lock-Isometric-Grey-24-in-x-24-in-x-0-3-in-Rubber-Gym-Weight-Room-Flooring-Tiles-25-7-sq-ft-6-Pack-01040805082/314975531

    I may have missed it if you mentioned it in this vid but for the NIBBI Carb, did you oil the air filter or leave it dry and put the sock over it? I put a Ghost 212 on my BT200X and a "Chicuni" and after jerking around with that thing for weeks, I still can't get it to run. I've lined up the carb to the intake manifold and did all the stuff everyone says you're supposed to do to get the carb to run but it's refusing to do it. I'm starting to think I either didn't prep the air cleaner correctly or I should just ditch the Carb and try the Nibbi out.

    • @TregsTravels
      @TregsTravels  8 місяців тому +1

      I just ran it dry, there honestly wasn't a lot of prep to it. We threw it on there and it fired right up! I've done some really long rides with it and it's ran amazing. My buddy bought one of those fake mikuni's and never could get it to run...try out the nibbi, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Let me know how that ghost is running, I'm interested in putting one on my other bike. Good luck!

    • @Deucealive75
      @Deucealive75 6 місяців тому +1

      Buses... Was wondering if you ever got your engine going? Did you ever think that your Chikuni was just a bad one? Did you verify that it runs with the stock ghost carb?
      Here and there I keep hearing that these Chikuni's are junk, but at the same time others don't have any problems. One youtuber "Dirty 77" said that he's never going to buy a Mikuni again because the Chikuni's work so well. I can believe it because he knows what he's doing.
      I run bored stock carbs and have plenty of power in my RPM range. But I'd like to get a Chikuni just to see how difficult or not they really are.

    • @Buses2Bikes
      @Buses2Bikes 6 місяців тому

      @@Deucealive75 I swapped the Chikuni for the PZZ22 that came with the Ghost and it ran for about 23 seconds. I have to change the oil as the Chikuni dumped gas in to the crank case. It's a labor of love that I'll get to as time allows. I have a Nibbi and it's needed attachments in my Amazon list waiting if needed.
