Great bike for the money. I'm 73 years old, 6' 5" and 340 lbs. I use mine for a mobility cart. I live on 2 1/2 acres with 45 walnut trees and a 200 foot driveway that is on a 20 degree incline. My hips and back are bad, making it difficult to climb the hill to get the mail or take the trash barrel to the curb. This bike has no problem hauling me and the 60 gallon trash bin up and down the hill. I pull a small trailer to pick up tree limbs and other yard work. I did buy a torque converter from Go-Power, but haven't installed it yet. Besides being a useful tool, it's fun...just because I'm old doesn't mean I can't have fun too! I can see using it to go fishing on too, down at the creek.

Thanks for writing this post. We bought an 18 acre property this summer and I haven't even been to the other side of it yet because I haven't been able to walk there without a lot of pain. I was considering with these for just the same purpose you're using it for. Thanks for the inspiration God bless

My cousin and I saved up and bought a used B&S powered mini bike back in the mid 70s. The fun we had on that thing! Brings fond memories of my kidhood. Finally broke the front forks after a couple of years and that ended our alley riding days. Fast forward to about 3ya and I'm on my 3rd Coleman. I've hopped 2 of em up and they'll reach lower 40 mph. My CT200U is staying stock doing about 22 mph. All are very fun to cruise in my rural area that I live.

Finally !! Someone who wants to do mods to be able to get out of off road trouble as fast at we can get in!! I don't want to rip through the woods or a primitive gravel road a 60 MPH.

It reminds me of a toat goat that my grandpa built for my dad back in the late 1950s and then got it running for me again in the early 90s. The difference being the speed. I could go 15 downhill but was a blast to ride on camping trips.

Great bike. Lots of fun & for the price it was a no brainer.

It might be worth spending the extra $$ for a B200RSV instead of the B200R. There are serious practical upgrades on the RSV, not the least of which being a rear suspension. Off road on a hard tail can be painful if you’ve got back problems.

    • @filthyanimal874

Used to be able to make them street legal in my state, but that changed a few months back. Perhaps some small towns might still let it happen. Something about needing a title now. My idea is now to buy a 3-wheeler with a title and make into a minibike so it can be street legal. I need to do some more research on that still. I used to be a welder / fabricator, so I plan to build it mostly from scratch and have it tandem real wheels (one after another) and both be driven. I might even toy with the idea of building it as a 3x3 rather than a 2x3.

I drive a Toyota RAV4, and for me dirt bikes are out of the option. I don’t want to trailer a bike for hours to ride for a couple hours. The mini bike I can throw in the car and bring them camping, off roading, really whatever I want to do with them. I can get 2 mini bikes in my mid size SUV with my tent, camping gear, etc. It’s perfect for me and I’ve fallen in love with the mini bikes

Great video. Been thinking of getting one of these for the very reasons you spoke of. I owned a Rokon Trailbreaker for 8 years. Was great, but they cost almost 10K New now! Granted that thing was a goat, but I suspect for what I intend this Coleman will do the job.

    Sweet rack on the back.
I bought a shot out one for 50 bucks and started to restore it but stopped, because a brand new one is 600 from Tractor Supply
I ended up mounting the engine on a gocart and it worked, considering how shot out it was after I cleaned it up and fixed it.
I'm missing the sprokets and chain and controls on the Baja. I'd really like to move the engine back over those and get the Baja running.
Still, a HF HOnda clone engine is cheap at HF too. Yep, you want a tractor and a jeep and a pack mule.
The main downsides to them is I don't think you can make them street legal. Maybe you can, adding lights and a licence plate, I dunno. YOu probably don't want to drive it on the street anyway it's burn up your treds.

It’s a bit late to tell me that lol, long video coming soon. I agree on California but NV, AZ, NM, CO, & UT are still amazing places when you don’t spend too much time in the city.
In the crappy parts of any city no matter where you are in the US and you’ll find a lot of places that are not what they used to be.
Don’t even get me started on how much I unapologetically hate Nebraska and a lot of the mid-west. It’s a fine place to live with available jobs and it’s plenty safe to raise a family. But it really lacks soul. (In my opinion) It’s far from an ideal place for me. Especially cause I love outdoor activities (off-roading especially) and the mountains and high deserts of the west are such an amazing place for that.
