In this video I show you how to install our canister style air filter kit on your Kawasaki FS engine. Installing this heavy duty air filter kit on your Kawasaki FS engine will greatly improve the amount of run time that you get out of your air filters and better protect your engine from getting "dusted". This kit should fit on any brand of equipment as long as you don't have any space restrictions above your engine. We have not had any running issues that required rejetting on any of our test machines. @@Honda1k yeah there's plenty of clearance, and you can modify the stock cover so it covers where the old air filter sat. I'll put a video up on my channel once the rain stops here
Will this fit a Exmark stergis E series same motor as in video but stand up ride on mower
We have not done any testing on that particular machine. Looks like there may be some clearance issues.
when will you have one that fits the fs481v on my 36" exmark turf tracer? definitely interested in this if you release it.
At this time we are not planning to make a kit to fit any engines smaller than the 651.

Hi there. I just bought the FS651 canister upgrade. I was curious if installing this has caused any of your prior customers to lose their warranties? If it didn't require drilling 2 small holes, I could see easily swapping the old filter back on if anything needed serviced at the dealer.
We have not heard of anyone having issues with warranties after installing our FR or FS air filters kits. We have several dealers that install these kits on brand new mowers before they sell them. Thank you for your business!

Does the filter upgrade add any horse power or power at all to the engine?? Will it be anything like a FS motor
We do not make any claims about horsepower gains. Our kit just replaces the poorly located factory filter.
I guess everything is going up in cost. I ordered one of these kits last month. Went to order another price is 14 bucks more.
It's ridiculous how much our manufacturing cost have gone up the last 6 - 8 months. A lot of stuff we are having to source from different suppliers at higher prices because no one else has it. People ask all the time if we have any discount codes and I keep telling them "If you want a discount, order it NOW before the price goes up again and/or they are out of stock!"

We do have some kits in stock that fit the older style FS engines (roughly 2019 and older). The kit we are working on for the newer engines mostly likely won't be ready until this winter. If you have an older FS engine you can send me a picture of it and I can tell you if our kit will work or not. sales@powerequipmentman.com

Will using this filter change the air fuel ratio in the carburetor? Will it make it run rich, causing the oil to be contaminated with gas?
No. We have done extensive testing to disprove this theory. No jetting changes are needed to run this kit.

No we do not currently have a kit for the smaller FS engines.

I run mine with no air filter for more detroit horsepower. The oil will filter out the remaining dust.

Why would I do that?
The OEM air filter on the FS series engines is a poor design that gets packed with dirt and grass too fast when getting used in extremely dirty conditions. Using this canister air filter upgrade keeps the air filter cleaner longer. You will get much longer run times between air filter changes. Getting cleaner cooler air to your engine will help extend your engine life. We have some customers that couldn't go 10 hours without having to replace the oem air filter, after going to this canister they could run all season without replacing the filter. The money they saved in replacement air filters paid for the kit.
