Does your cook book include imperial measurements or just metric?
It's only metric because I wanted it to be as concise as possible
@Felu ok. I can get a food scale. I am currently losing weight and your food makes it feel like I'm just indulging but I still see the weight come off.
Was waiting for that! You helped me lose 27+ kg with the rule "I only eat food I love", Felu. Your recipes are the best. Bought and paid for!
I could cry tears of joy. Tried this recipe and it may be the single greatest thing I’ve ever made. I owe this man my life
I have made your cheesy burrito 🌯(1st option) for lunch today! It tasted absolutely delicious!😋 Thank you for sharing this great recipe! Definitely will make it again!
If you warm your tortillas in a pan or microwave for a short time, they will become much more pliable and therefore easier to roll around your fillings! It is not evident from the video if you do this already but from the look of it, they looks pretty cold and stiff. Either way, I thought I'd share the tip with everyone.
Additionally, I am a big guy with a large appetite (but an equally high TDEE) while also being on a student budget. To make a burrito that fulfills my needs (i.e. bigger to make me full but also sufficiently cheap), I will crisp up a portion of chickpeas, prepare some kidney beans, add relevant spices, and add it to the burrito. Together with some chicken and a much larger tortilla, it adds up to the 900 calories, 60 grams of protein, and a bunch of fiber (which is something I need more of). I have found them to be incredible for meal prep. With the cheese sauce from the beef burrito in the video instead of whatever sauces I normally go with, this would likely make it even more macrofriendly and delicious.
Felu has done it again. Genius.
Felu i made about 5 of these and they are amazing. I appreciate your break down of calories and carbs in your videos.
Glad you like them and thank you!
New subscriber today looking to lose weight without crazy dieting and bland food-this is my 3rd video that I've watched so far❤
Felu my man
Your recipient rocks and I’m glad somebody showing that you can be fit and still eat amazing dishes
God bles for big skyr package 😂
I tried this recipe Felu and turned out to be amazing and now I can enjoyed healthy and protein rich food and keep my calories intake on take. Please do some Indian recipes as you have gifted cook in mostly possible healthier way !!!
I made a variant of this with barbacoa and fat free cheeses, with just a small amount of nutritional yeast to buff up the cheesiness. Turned out great. I think I can get the whole thing down to around 400 calories with 50ish grams of protein.
I see you used the same trick for the chicken one as you did for the cheesesteak recipe. Nice!
Just wondering what is your opinion on ground chicken or turkey, for calorie savings?
I’ve been wondering this for a while - if you’re looking for a vegetarian option, would you just replace the beef or chicken in your recipes with replacement meat like Impossible or Beyond Burgers?
How would one go about doing chicken + cottage cheese sauce? I dont eat red meat so would like to add the chicken + cottage cheese for the extra proteins.
In the States, I can but cottage cheese without added salt. Would the evaporated milk still necessary at that point?
Yes, I tried it without and I think you need some sort of sweetened milk
How would you suggest reheating them if we store them in the freezer or fridge?
5-7 minutes in the microwave!
Can you switch out the evaporated milk for something else in the cheese sauce? I've made a few recipes with your cheese sauce and I find it a bit too sweet.
Just use skin milk
Make sure you get unsweetened evaporated milk
Replace it with sour cream, milk or any other non sweet cow liquid
Eventually I will buy your cookbook to thank you
Thanks a lot!
@@Felu thanks for all the work you do
Gibts das Kochbuch auch auf deutsch?
Nur auf Englisch aber es ist in wirklich einfachem englisch geschrieben
You can strain regular ground beef to get rid of extra fat
And how do you track the calories then?
Hi Felu, are you going to do some discounts for black friday?
Yes, from today the book is 20% off for 1 week!
I can never get the beef cheese one right. It comes out very liquidy and sticks to the beef but not cheesy
Unfortunately its impossible for me to buy prepared extra lean ground beef in the store, or the evaporated milk...
Looks amazing but i'm convinced theres no possible way of making macro friendly burritos. Theyre simply too small. I'd need 2 of those burritos to feel satiated and by then its a 1000+ calories with the beef and close to 900 with the chicken.
Personally, I always have 150 calories worth of vegetables as a side when I eat a 500-calorie burrito or something similar
Same here, although I'd have no trouble eating 3 😂
I don't see a problem here 🤔
It's like 2500 Cal/day to fast for me, and I eat 2-3 times a day, no snacks, always some vegetables. So I can eat like 1000 cal and 1500 cal meals.
Tweak the ingredients then. I used fat free cottage cheese and fat free cheddar and that alone drastically reduces calories
@@vadway that's a great idea
Cottage cheese ist körniger Frischkäse??? Wusste ich nicht, dachte immer das wäre so ein USA-Ding ;)
Is tortilla good for diabetics?
Look for a carb balance or carb smart tortilla brand. Tortillas are a type of bread product.
Do you have high protein recipes for lactose intolerant people?
I mean, can't you not just use lactose-free dairy?
How is that half an onion
I get so annoyed when i find a good recipe video and then see evaporated milk as an ingredient. Cuz that shit is NOT available everywhere
