It's the best EX move in the game, and so good that Yang player's don't even view the super choice for the supers. They see it only in terms of which one gives them more EX Mantis. Yang is the only character that has the choice between a dogwater super and an excellent super (Seiei Enbu) and regularly chooses the dogwater one.

It is funny how Yun's moveset was "inspired" by Lee from the Fighter's History series. Speaking of Fighter's History. Makoto is like a fusion between Ryoko Kano and Makoto Mizoguchi "CHESTO! CHESTO! CHESTO!!" Meanwhile, Dudley throws a rose as a projectile which might be a reference by Jean Pierre. I think Capcom got revenge on Data East for losing to them in court years ago.
When I saw Yang pull out Seiei Enbu, I immediately went, “Aw fuck it’s Zero’s Sougenmu from MvC3”. I don’t play either of these games, but the two moves do pretty much the same thing. Both of them even give their users unblockables. Guess Capcom really loves shadow clone shenanigans.
Yang doesn't even use that super most of the time, because he has the best EX move in the game, a flurry of slashes with very good damage and stun that most yang players end up preferring over using an actual super, so they just pick the super art that allows them to store the most meter for said EX move
A lot of times when I see JP players using Yang they go for his SA2, probably cause of the mix of a bunch of meter for EX slash + the actual SA does a lot of damage if you decide to use it.
Good video! A few notes: 4:12 - Ryu's denjin gains hits not only by rotating the stick, but also by pressing the other face buttons. So the best way to increase hits fast is to rotate the stick (hit diagonals) and mash the buttons you didn't use to activate SA3 (you have to hold that button as you charge the attack, so you can't mash that one as letting go of it sends the denjin flying). 6:12 - The juggle limit isn't 'extended' per se, but attacks that would usually reset the opponent just juggle them instead. If you, for instance, reach the juggle limit as you stun the opponent, you can't suddenly tack on more juggle hits, so the juggle limit itself stays the same. The Ryu combo shown works because his SA1 actually (always) resets the juggle value to 0, so the only thing that wouldn't have worked without the stun is the clLP, clLP to stHK at the end, as the clLP usually makes the opponent flip out and land on the ground. Instead, if the opponent isn't stunned you'd just finish the combo with a heavy DP instead. 6:40 - Just as a quick note, this is not a "true combo"; if Dudley quick stands the throw, the super will whiff. Of course, if the throw stuns, he can't quick stand, so the combo is guaranteed.
The funny thing about akuma's far HK into demon is that it is a truly broken combo, probably unintended, because it needs the backturn animation to be able to combo into demon (backturned characters can be thrown even while in hitstun), but this animation isn't applied against every character. So the backturn was probably meant to be a visual/aesthetic thing and it accidentally gave akuma a combo
Yeah, the backturn is why Alex players can combo out of his Flash Chop with Power Bomb/Hyper Bomb. So giving Akuma a normal that can cause backturn is fucking wiiiild
I just love how when discussing how good Chun Li is, she was beating up Ken in reference to moment 37, using the same colors to talk about how hard to parry her super is
What's funny is this video could be like three times longer. A bunch of characters have matchup specific bugged throws, twelve is useless, sean is useless on purpose, and while it was kind of alluded to in the video, some characters' supers are so good that it makes other supers literally obsolete and strictly detrimental to pick. Poor Remy with his blue nocturne. It's more of a personal gripe, but I hate Elena's stage, it hurts my fucking eyes!
Just adding 2 things that were not metioned in this video Gill's Resurrection: If you defeat Gill while he have full meter,he will activate this super, wich regenerates his entire health bar. However,Gill can no longer gain meter AND is VULNERABLE to any move (including grabs,if i'm not mistaken) you throw at him during the animation. Remy's taunt: The only taunt in the game that does nothing to you, except increase the amout of stun gauge Remy can recive. Truly, the taunt of all time.
Worth mentioning that Resurrection puts Gill in a stun juggle state, which combined with the fact that Gill is for some reason the only character in the game that you can re-stand mid combo, gives every character in the game easy infinites if he does it.
It would have been nice if you also covered some of the stuff in the game that's really weak or unviable, since it would still fit with the idea of the game being "broken". You briefly touched upon it with zoning being weak, but there's also character-specific aspects like Remy's infamously terrible Blue Nocturne, or Twelve and Sean being really bad.
As a new player, the bustedness of the game is a big part of what makes it interesting to me. I started playing after entering a monthly tourney on a whim and, aside from being eliminated immediately, seeing the higher level players cook expanded by brain. Talking to them about the quirks of some matchups an characters really sparked my interest and motivated me to learn more and I hope to play this game more in the future. Nice video!
Been playing 3s for like 3 years at this point and knew almost everything in this video but the one thing I didn’t know is that Genei Jin only lasted 5 seconds. The fact he always has it stocked along with the fact trying to block out genei Jin pressure feels like a lifetime, I thought it was at least like 10 seconds. Insane super.
Man I can’t believe 3rd strike is going strong after all these years. I was in college in Austin TX and played continuously from 1999-2003 at Einstein’s Arcade on the drag across from campus . Some top tier players in that scene, literally went almost every day between classes instead of studying for exams and was broke all the time. Shoutout to a simpler time! Like 6 months ago thought, hey wonder if any vids are out there? And sure enough a thriving scene all these years later 🎉🎉🎉
I feel makoto sa1 should have also been mentioned along with sa2 both supers change her game plan significantly with sa1 only having 1 start up and 1 active frame meaning anything thats -2 can be punished and anything thats +2 can be linked into it and shes invul until after the active frame so she kinda becomes a bully as opposed to sa2s more tactical screen position focused gameplan
I love how Makoto's supers make her specialize in different ways but they all end with GINORMOUS DAMAGE SA1 is your typical punish super that deletes half of the life bar after a fatal error or a parry. Even scarier due to Makoto's strike throw gameplan so expect a raw super in the face or a super after grab SAIII is the weakest one of the three but you can steal rounds with this one. An install that prevents you from blocking but makes you deal big damage to your attacks. My favorite part is the absolute dread you impose onto your opponent that they can't get away from due to Makoto's mobility so they're forced to fight and they either win big or lose really hard
@@SoulBro12 Not only that, fun fact about Makoto's SA3, if you stand still on activation, you have 30 frames of invincibility. You could use it on wakeup or after a parry bait to see what's coming and do a massive punish against your opponent. It is wild to see it in action.
I've been actively following 3rd Strike for 15 years and I had never heard of the Alex/Twin quickrise bug or Yun's instant recovery until now. This game is a trainwreck and that's why I love it.
I discovered third strike about a year ago after getting interested in the music. I didn't play it online with fightcade, and instead I played it with a PS2 emulator with my uncle. It still blows my mind how little its charm, style and weight has aged in the sea of retro games that are easy to appreciate but hard to want to get back into. Me and my uncle have spent entire weekends just trying to bump each other's scores to see who gets to wash the dishes today, we try out new characters to marvel at the animation and rad desings, and listen to the music while drawing together. We even got for the first time to watch this year's EVO tournament and had a blast watching it all the way thought. Third Strike is just something else. Even tho is almost 7 years older than me, it still feels like a game from the future, and very bright one at that. Full of passion, glory and some sweet, sweet beats in my head.
Very nic vid, while a good bit of this stuff were things I heard of already, I wasn't aware of things like Yang being able to set up unblockables on some cases. Very nice lol, always neat to see these kind of vids, really shows the love for these great games
I can't believe we didn't get the crushing low tiers to go with the overwhelming top tiers... I still maintain that SF3 parries are one of the best mechanics ever added to a Fighting Game though
So that how those pro Remy players fill the screen with projectiles. Besides Makotos tod and taunt effects, i didn't know quite a few of these. Nice vid! 👍
I knew about most of this, but I also learned a few things today. And yes, 3rd Strike WILL be played until the end of time. It's iconic. It is to the FGC what 2pac is to hip-hop.
problem with fightcade is no one plays yun or chun so you play 3rd strike and think damn this game is awesome and then you bump into yun/chun and realize you were living a lie
Whenever I tried to hop on fightcade and play yun, people would either play me for 3 games then leave, or just not play me at all. So that's probably why nobody plays them lol
It’s weird seeing the 3rd strike scene still alive. When this came out in the arcades, it seems they I was always the only playing it and that everyone was still on ST. Still glad to say I was apart of that era.
"3rd strike is broken" and i love it for that lmao. The same way i can eat an unblockable from urien multiple times in a round, i can just next round eat his life after a successeful karakusa, or even funnier, tsurugi into sa1. Yeah ken can whiff punish with sa3 anywhere, but fuck it i can one touch kill him if i kurakusa next to the corner. Sf6 is very close on winning that spot, but is not quite there yet, 3rd strike is still king for me.
It can be broken, but it'd be nice if you know, playing Sean or Twelve wasn't pure torture in terms of viabillity. You can improve some stuff that wouldn't frustrate annyone ^_^
@@leithaziz2716 i don't mind the balancing on dreamcast 3rd strike or 4rd strike, but the rest of the sf3 community simply seems to hate these versions lmao. I wouldn't mind playing a version where characters are closer to Urien, ken and makoto BS levels of power, than the disparity between yun and sean that we have.
I still remember the day I was in high school 9th grade (14) when the Daigo Parry hit the internet and this was right before UA-cam took off early 2005. I'm currently 34 now 🙏....
I was looking for this video a few days ago as i could have sworn someone had already made it. Now I've been blessed with the real thing. Thank you for this 🙏
3rd Strike might be broken, but its perfect. I've just got into it the past few months and its immediately become one of my favourite games of all time, right there with +R and BBCF. This vid is an amazing overview of an amazing game!
Your vids are god like, loved it! There is also hadou walk, tech that i've seen in AutoMattock, which doesn't eat the parry input if you go from 3 to 6, anyway, this game must have a ton of stuff, just wanted to bring it up.
to be honest i would love to see remy back with a nash sf5 gameplay mixed with his older stuff. He is a character that seems to fit very well with sf6 stuff.
I'm surprised you didn't cover Hugo's spd timer. In 3s hugo has an invisble timer of 32f roughly that when it expires it throws away all your inputs for an spd no matter where you were in the sequence, then the timer refreshes. And no this doesnt mean you can do 4 2 6 (wait 25f) 8P to get an spd if you're lucky on the timer position, it still follows standard special window rules with the caveat that yeah if youre just unlucky and do 426 (timer expires here) 8P you wont get an SPD. Its completely in the background of the game and you cant play around it, so even if youre perfect TAS level of inputs youll still just drop your spds. Only exception being after a parry the timer resets. So at least its consistent there
I've been playing this game since SF3 was new, I played it when it was uncool and everyone loved Soul Calibur, I still go back to play it. WOW you have some intense knowledge. I don't think I knew even half of the things you mentioned. Very educational! I used to be able to get the secret ending where Gill would resurrect after the end credits and everything. INcredible stuff.
I'm a bit controversial because I think someone should make a "4th impact" of SF3 (and an Alpha/Zero 4 for that matter). Kind of like that mod of SF2 Turbo out there that rebalances the game and is really good, I would like to see someone take the SF3 engine and do a retool that rebalances the game but keeps in SF3 Third Strike's "game feel". Buff some of the low tiers, remove some glitches, that kind of thing.
Check out Street Fighter 3, 4rd Strike. It's a rebalance mod that gives characters new moves, buffs low tiers, nerfs high tiers a schmidge, and overall is fun. It's got an online community too thanks to Fightcade
How does one play it? I tried googling it but couldn't find anything, and of course on fightcadd absolutely no one was willing to help me and told me to just play base 3s instead. @@StellaEFZ
Admittedly, I'm not a fighting game player (even though I watch a ton of fighting game content), but 3rd Strike is one of those games that I don't fully understand where all the high praise comes from versus other fighting games that seem pretty similar (I feel the same way about Garou). My guess is that it comes from its high execution barrier and the sheer number of options you have and even then Chun's super seems to contradict that since there's no reason not to do that and is a long fixed animation. Granted, you can also parry that if you're a god, so it's pretty cool that even some of the cheapest options aren't always a guarantee. I'm also a big fan of Melee (though I'm not even remotely decent at it), which is another game praised for its high execution and depth. Though I've also been recently having a blast playing around with the one-button mode of that game and to me what makes that game so fun is the movement and gamefeel which later games severely lack. So I feel like execution doesn't necessarily have to mean deep or fun either.
It's hard to articulate, but 3rd Strike just *feels* different. And yeah, the options for options for options on-top of options also comes into it. I feel the same about Garou, but I'm absolute garbage at it, that one draws me in because it's just so gorgeous (which is another thing about 3S, if hand drawn sprites are your jam) Not my *favorite* fighting game, but when I play it, it absolutely is. Edit: They said it wayyyyyy better under me.
One of the reasons Third Strike started gaining such a following was the landscape of Capcom fighting games in the mid-late 2000s. A huge influx of players came in to the fighting game community at Street Fighter 4, which was derided by many old-time players for being too "skill-less" and "random", especially with its in-built comeback mechanic of Ultra Combos. These players sought to find a game that scratched their itch and turned away who they thought were "casuals". As Street Fighter 3 had sold quite poorly and was relatively lambasted in mainstream reviews for the original roster and 2D graphics, it was a game with a niche community that could be relied on to be what the SF4-exiles wanted. For its modern appeal, it's half the dedicated fanbase hyping up their own game, and the overall feeling of high execution in the game as you mentioned. One thing mentioned in the video that causes some level of acclaim is that fireballs and zoning are somewhat underpowered compared to other fighting games. Zoning is considered by some to be a "boring" and obnoxious playstyle, so the weakness of that strategy retains players who prefer up-close rushdown and mixups compared to navigating fireballs.
I think a big part of it comes down to both 3S and Garou having a very powerful universal defensive mechanic that the entire game evolves to revolve around. Parries and Just Defend make it so that any interaction has an additional dynamic; any move that would normally be safe or even plus, suddenly becomes punishable. In other fighting games, if I stick out a poke, I know one of four things is going to happen; 1. My opponent doesn't block it and I get a hit in 2. My opponent does block it, and I know I'm -/+ however many frames and can plan my next action accordingly 3. I whiff it and my opponent gets a whiff punish 4. I whiff it and my opponent doesn't get a whiff punish The inclusion of Parry and JD make it so that second point, instead branches out into at least 3 or 4 more subsequent branches. 2a. My opponent gets a successful Parry/JD against my poke and gets a punish 2b. My opponent gets a successful Parry/JD against my poke, but has to gamble on whether I can/will special cancel it and if they should go for the punish, or another Parry/JD to beat my special cancel 2c. I delay the timing of my poke to cause the Parry/JD timing to not lineup. 2d. I delay the timing of my poke and my opponent predicts that, pressing a button to beat the startup of my poke instead of trying to Parry/JD it Depending on how deep you want to get, that list could go on for ages with various permutations of how both players play around the Parry/JD mechanics, and that's without including things Garou letting you cancel JD into Guard Cancel moves. Other games, like many Arcsys fighters, have similar-ish mechanics like Instant Block, but few of them interact with not only block pressure, but also neutral, okizeme, jump ins, air to airs, and frankly every other conceivable situation that could arise in a fighting game to the same level as 3S parries and Garou's JD.
Very good. For more videos like this. In the end I thought we would talk about our easy and strong character Ken. And thank you for having subtitles in Portuguese.
Yun is the only character in any fighting game ive played that really makes think "I am not having fun here" I love fighting games and I love losing, cause I feel like playing better people makes me a better player too, but against Yun it makes me feel like its my characters fault for being worse and there is nothing I can do about it but take the mix and watch him juggle
The Q taunt numbers are off. Common mistake. Someone posted the wrong numbers online 20 years ago, and they've been popping up ever since. They aren't even. The second taunt doesn't add as much as the first or third.
Wow. I think I’ll try this game out. I’m gonna main this twelve character here he has funny animations for his moves and an AIRDASH?! Why wasn’t this in the video??
Cool!😎 Many in the FGC today are unaware of the old 1997 Street Fighter III: New Generation Video Guide put out by Japan's GAMEST magazine and if I'm not mistaken; they teamed up with the legendary Japanese Street Fighter crew "The Skillsmiths" , for the endeavor.
I suck at fighting games since I typically play by myself but man I love 3rd Strike, and I love watching vids like these sometimes, insane how all this info about the game has been figured out and I'm here for it.
I don't think we should ban anyone but if we had to pick one it would be Chun over Yun. Chun is so boring to watch, yeah Genei Jin combos get stale after some time but Chun was never fun lmao, just bullshit normal pokes and SA punishes. Yun takes a ton of labbing and is easily top 2 hardest in the game well Chun is probably top 2 easiest. But still, I don't agree with a ban cause most tournaments are not that serious and have descent character representation. It's only huge event like Evo that are boring to watch.
@@dingusdangus9299 I'm more of a casual fighter but even that seems a little much. I didn't know Yun was so head and shoulders above the rest of the cast
I like parry on paper but I don't really like any mechanic that really rewards the great players while punishing the lower-mid players. Its kind of a "rich get richer" mechanic because its all about observation, frame data etc. which you get after many hours of playing, its not something you just suddenly are able to do one day. Also I hate doing it on the actual arcade stick, I can literally never make it react in time but I can do it well on keyboard and gamepad.
This video is misleading. A lot of these oki unblockables setups don't do any more damage than a lot of raw supers in the game. Therefore it's a unique gameplan but not a superior one. Chun Li simply has good buttons and a good super which is enough to make her better than all of this supposed "broken" tech.
For context, Third Strike is an official Evo game in 2024. And its tournament has more players than the latest Mortal Kombat and KOF games
Given how _MK_ and _KOF_ are generally still received in America, that's sadly hilarious for _M1K_ and par for the course with _KOFXV_ really.

Of course, if the throw stuns, he can't quick stand, so the combo is guaranteed.
also for denjin, mashing the buttons and then immediately letting go after the super freeze still charges the super for more hits / stun. Useful!
Ah dude it came out really nicely
Thank you for all your help!!!! 🙇🏼🙇🏼🙇🏼
I love that profile pic, Maractus is a favorite of mine.
Same thing happens with Ibuki's jumping HP, since it puts only certain chars in a backturn state and lets you combo into SA2 (super grab) that way.

@@Sandox032 Lo mismo me dicen de vos
I just love how when discussing how good Chun Li is, she was beating up Ken in reference to moment 37, using the same colors to talk about how hard to parry her super is
It shows just how ridiculous it was that Diago got it despite all the circumstances working against him
There's a reason that moment is so legendary.
Yeah I have to be specific with my character's color choices on elena's stage so I can see where I am lol. Colorblindness is a bitch.
@jaykelley103 damn elenas stage with color blindness sounds terrifying
There was a downgrade from Anakaris’ stage in Vampire Savior to Elena’s stage in 3rd Strike
Beach scum in my eyes.
How the fuck Elena's stage can burn your fucking eyes? It's beautiful and relaxing to see and hear.
Just adding 2 things that were not metioned in this video
Gill's Resurrection: If you defeat Gill while he have full meter,he will activate this super, wich regenerates his entire health bar.
Resurrection is hard to interuppt because it also has a force wave that shoves characters away for roughly half its duration
RESURRECTION
Love that sound, you can just see Gil smirking.
I mean, it's Remy. Of course he's miserable.
You briefly touched upon it with zoning being weak, but there's also character-specific aspects like Remy's infamously terrible Blue Nocturne, or Twelve and Sean being really bad.
akuma cant be thrown while doing the overhead just changed my entire world, cant believe im still finding things out about this game

I watched the video on your channel, but I'm so happy to see it featured on Max's channel!!!! Let's gooooo!
4rd strike though, now *that's* a balanced game!
They nerfed makoto, terrible/10.
they nerfed chun li. Terrible Out of Ten
They removed yun forever. Terrible out of ten.
Ryu hits like a truck
did they make the top tiers weaker or the bottom tiers stronger
Man I can’t believe 3rd strike is going strong after all these years. I was in college in Austin TX and played continuously from 1999-2003 at Einstein’s Arcade on the drag across from campus . Some top tier players in that scene, literally went almost every day between classes instead of studying for exams and was broke all the time. Shoutout to a simpler time!
Like 6 months ago thought, hey wonder if any vids are out there? And sure enough a thriving scene all these years later 🎉🎉🎉
Austin had the strongest 3S in up until a few years ago. I'd visit Arcade UFO near UT any chance I could!
Holy shit that 45% defend boost on Q’s taunt!
That’s why I kept getting destroyed by him all those years ago

That'd be a loooooong video... 😅
We need a seperate list of all the infinites.
@@GuileWinQuote just do a 1 frame DHALSIM image, thats says everything u need to know.
I love how Makoto's supers make her specialize in different ways but they all end with GINORMOUS DAMAGE
SA1 is your typical punish super that deletes half of the life bar after a fatal error or a parry. Even scarier due to Makoto's strike throw gameplan so expect a raw super in the face or a super after grab
SAIII is the weakest one of the three but you can steal rounds with this one.
It is wild to see it in action.
does your keyboard not have punctuation characters?
I've been actively following 3rd Strike for 15 years and I had never heard of the Alex/Twin quickrise bug or Yun's instant recovery until now.
This game is a trainwreck and that's why I love it.
Nice to see you make even more variant logo cards! One for CPS3 games is cool already.
I didn't know all the extra stuff about chun super, just that it was really good, knowing it now just makes the daigo parry all the more impressive.
Very nic vid, while a good bit of this stuff were things I heard of already, I wasn't aware of things like Yang being able to set up unblockables on some cases. Very nice lol, always neat to see these kind of vids, really shows the love for these great games
4:49 love that edit... i mean real game mechanic
HOORAY I love these “fighting game title is broken” videos! They are so fucking dope
As much as I love Third Striike, I am dreading the inevitable Yun mirror match at EVO 2024.
I can't believe we didn't get the crushing low tiers to go with the overwhelming top tiers...
I still maintain that SF3 parries are one of the best mechanics ever added to a Fighting Game though
Yun: 'Master. I did it well?'
Lee (Fighter's History): 'You did it wonderfully.'
So that how those pro Remy players fill the screen with projectiles. Besides Makotos tod and taunt effects, i didn't know quite a few of these.
Nice vid!

With a new gen of people now playing this game. It has only just gotten started. To 25 MORE YEARS!
Here from max’s vid! Great stuff. Nice to finally know why these situations come to pass in this game

And yes, 3rd Strike WILL be played until the end of time. It's iconic. It is to the FGC what 2pac is to hip-hop.
Such an easy subscription. Sooo much info in so little time. Thank you. 🙏
Thank you for watching!!
problem with fightcade is no one plays yun or chun so you play 3rd strike and think damn this game is awesome and then you bump into yun/chun and realize you were living a lie
Whenever I tried to hop on fightcade and play yun, people would either play me for 3 games then leave, or just not play me at all. So that's probably why nobody plays them lol
Talvez chun e yun funcione melhor no offiline.

Blessed Content
Here from Maximiliandood! Keep up the awesome content!
So at least its consistent there
this is one of these videos where you just dont want it to end
8:34 I love how the only reason this doesn't happen is because no Urien player picks anything besides Aegis lol
Buff some of the low tiers, remove some glitches, that kind of thing.
there is one already it's called 4rd strike and you can play it on fightcade
Check out Street Fighter 3, 4rd Strike. It's a rebalance mod that gives characters new moves, buffs low tiers, nerfs high tiers a schmidge, and overall is fun. It's got an online community too thanks to Fightcade
Play 4th Strike
How does one play it? I tried googling it but couldn't find anything, and of course on fightcadd absolutely no one was willing to help me and told me to just play base 3s instead. @@StellaEFZ
I loved this vid!!! Wow, amazing editing
I feel the same about Garou, but I'm absolute garbage at it, that one draws me in because it's just so gorgeous (which is another thing about 3S, if hand drawn sprites are your jam)
Not my *favorite* fighting game, but when I play it, it absolutely is.
In other fighting games, if I stick out a poke, I know one of four things is going to happen;
1. My opponent doesn't block it and I get a hit in
2. My opponent does block it, and I know I'm -/+ however many frames and can plan my next action accordingly
3. I whiff it and my opponent gets a whiff punish
4. I whiff it and my opponent doesn't get a whiff punish
The inclusion of Parry and JD make it so that second point, instead branches out into at least 3 or 4 more subsequent branches.
2a. My opponent gets a successful Parry/JD against my poke and gets a punish
2b. My opponent gets a successful Parry/JD against my poke, but has to gamble on whether I can/will special cancel it and if they should go for the punish, or another Parry/JD to beat my special cancel
2c. I delay the timing of my poke to cause the Parry/JD timing to not lineup.
2d. I delay the timing of my poke and my opponent predicts that, pressing a button to beat the startup of my poke instead of trying to Parry/JD it
Depending on how deep you want to get, that list could go on for ages with various permutations of how both players play around the Parry/JD mechanics, and that's without including things Garou letting you cancel JD into Guard Cancel moves.
It’s because of Evo Moment 37 really. If Daigo hadn’t parried that super from Justin Wong this game would be a discord fighter today
Tons of good info in here, 3S is a ruthless but really fun game. Shoutouts to that purple Oro probably lighting up as soon as you asked for info.

The better player should win. How is one supposed to improve if the game hands them false validation? They won't register their mistakes.

This video is misleading. A lot of these oki unblockables setups don't do any more damage than a lot of raw supers in the game. Therefore it's a unique gameplan but not a superior one. Chun Li simply has good buttons and a good super which is enough to make her better than all of this supposed "broken" tech.
