How to do Shoulder Press with Resistance Bands! Over a Dozen Variations

  • We start with lying shoulder presses on a bench and we mimic the arc of the hammer machine shoulder press. But with resistance bands, we can vary the pressing angle for every range on the adjustable bench, turning the shoulder press into a different variation and ‘range and plane of motion’ each and every set or workout.
    Furthermore, unlike the bulky shoulder press machines in the gym, you can switch between presses to the front or presses behind the head - from workout to workout, or from set to set, or even from rep to rep! AWESOME OPTIONS!
    If you employ all these variations you have a huge library options already within one single exercise.
    Then we move to standing variations of the press - starting with leaning shoulder press variations - from angled to horizontal
    We illustrate single foot or double foot anchored overhead press.
    But another option with bands is we can create ANOTHER VARIATION by turning the movement into a wide-out press.
    Finally we show you single arm variations of the shoulder press as well.

    Can you really build muscle doing these? Obviously you:re demonstrating many variations and one probably wouldn't do all these in their workout. It seems more like toning and muscle endurance than building muscle. Thanks for the video sir
