THAT'S how reviews are done. Not this boring, longish blathering. Thanks, Andy, love both your channels
Thanks :)
16 quid for a handy, little piece of gear that looks great for car/truck camping or back yard use is great. Take care, Andy.
Andy, you do SUCH a great job on these short reviews!!!! some of this equipment would be great just for backyard use! Thanks for sharing all this great info!
Thanks Maggie :D trying not to make them too long winded and stick to whats important.
Good review with zero fat! For my understanding you can keep that pin at the end of the chain and when you want to put your kettle in a higher place, you just lift the chain and stick the long part of the pin through the chain link.
very good point! ta
Another great pocket sized review Andy. I love the main channel but do enjoy these little fillers in between. Keep up the good work mate.
Thanks Andy. For a bit of one man hobo’ing that looks perfect! 🔥👍
exactly, nice and small and light :)
i have one of these i keep in the back of the Disco, they are great. once i used it with a 9qt dutch ovenfull of stew, it was ok but it did sink lol. with an oven the size you have you will never have a problem they are a good item. i find it easier to pull the chain up and poke the long end of the pin back through rather than moving the pin down the chain, nice review.
Yes...well-deserved cuppa at the end! Not least for fine videography. Gear like this is very useful for the backpacking trekker who exhausts themself during the day and needs a familiar and available kit of basic day-after-day needs. As a younger father with a family who enjoyed trekking, this is exactly 'like it.' All of our gear was 'lightweight' and our campsites were along popular trails that had been increasingly picked over for useful wood as the season progressed. THANKS ANDY for sharing. This NOW is on my list for the personal/two person kit with the smaller grills/griddles/ pans and pots you have been demonstrating. We are down to needing only to provide for two.
Really good! They should think of a sturdier, more robust big brother to it!👍🏻
Nice job on the review. You do a very good job. You have made it a very informative peace of information. I have bought some of the other stuff you have reviewed because your presentation has helped me understand it and see it in action... hope the Channel is very successful and worth the trouble for you....
I like the new channel, and I can't even camp out any more. TBH I like to hear you speak as much as your content.
Fab review, I bought two of these last year and added a section to make it higher and had over a raised fire pit, we hung the large Dutch oven when cooking a rhubarb crumble without any issues, great bits of kit. Have to admit had not thought about using for hanging the lantern on ;-)
Very nice. Simple. Perfect.
That's a nice backpacking tripod and lightweight at 16 ounces. Here in the US there is a real deciding factor about getting one , even Amazon says it cannot be shipped ( unavailable ) to the States.
Several years ago I went with the Vargo Titanium folding grill. The grill is 3.7 ounces or 105 grams. It's a multi use item , I can grill on it , use it as a pot support with a small fire or ( alcohol ) stove under it and my pot on it. . It also serves as a small table to set things on when I'm in the tent and it's been cleaned , especially after grilling something on it.
Great tripod and review mate! Cheers
Thank you Andy for sharing this info on video about the Tripod just want I wanted for our family camping holiday thank you for sharing your gear and review channel take care Andy.
Amazing :) Great to see the cooking tripod being put through its paces. Brilliant :)
Would love to see this used with the Robens Cast Iron raised fire system 😊
I really like that! Especially how lightweight it is and the easy set up! Nice!
⛺️🤠👍. Hooray! This isn't 1880, the age of the long-legged steel trivet are numbered for all but the most horse & trailer / 4x4 camping type set-ups. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a slightly larger version of this but this is an awesome product & a long-time coming. I reckon that with the 'leg joints', you could mount a platform that'd sit on top the joints, if you wanted to knock one up. This could also be used as a 'shooting stick' / rest once it blackens up a bit 🤠👍. Good kit that most of us could use regularly👏👏👏.
Nice review Andy 👍.
Love your other channel glad I found this channel too
Thank you :)
Rain on a tarp must be one of the worlds best noises. 😊
Great review! I can’t stand fuss and artistic crap in reviews. Just get on with it.
I’ve been looking for one of these, but the ones i’ve found had bad reviews about being flimsy. This one looks good and sturdy.
Thanks Andy, great job 👍🏼
That looks pretty handy. Thanks, Andy. 🙂👍
Looks great, very good value especially for stainless steel.
Nice job again Andy thanks for sharing
Looks like a great addition to my kit! Thank you.
I use a big lomo bag for motorbike touring. Good company and very reasonable prices imho.
Digging this review channel! That tripod looks a little diminished compared to the branches!😉🇨🇦
Had one of these for awhile now and i love mine. Good review
Cheers, it'll def come in handy :)
Really enjoying your review channel ,keep up the great work 👍
I use lomo all the time, cause I stay close to their shop in Glasgow,
Love the reviews, keep them coming.
Stay safe.
Very nice. You can also leave the top pin as is on the end of the chain, and just run the end through the chain at your desired height. (At least that's the way I use mine.)
Thanks, someone else just mentioned that, maybe I would have realised at some point ;) haha, cheers
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yes please
Looks a handy bit of kit...👍👍🤙🤙
Awesome video very useful
Thanks for this AND reminding me about your UA-cam main channel. I am now Sub’d & Bell’d to both.
Welcome David :) thanks for watching
As said , very nice Cheers
that's really good, i'd like one for a home fire and my cauldron :D
Cool!🧹🧙♀️🧹🧙♀️
Good video, does it take ages to boil like that? Nice product
Be interesting to see a review on the “Nashiro portable camping grill” it doesn’t have to be that make but it’s the cheapest. Love your videos
is that the one that packs down in to a tube? if so I reviewed / used one on the main channel a couple of years ago, think it was called a pocket sized bbq or something
Kent Survival Gear & Review my wife and i are still getting through your videos, so we’ll come across it
Nice Video. Can you share for make bail handle on Stanley pot?
I like that one small and light weight I will look into that not sure if it is one I can get in the states or not though.
suspend a small grill on it you could even use it to smoke meat or dry your wet socks
This cannot be steel, it is definately Alluminium wrong description by LOMO
I've got one of these there great but watch out for the connectors they come loose i lost one 😢😢 great review Andy atvb Jimmy 😎😎
Cheers Jimmy, I will do mate
@@kentsurvivalgearreview586 Try the red Loc-tite on one side. Not both sides, you'll regret that soon enough.
nice 😊
Hi Andy
I like the tripod but at 16lbs too heavy for a week long backpack trip .
It would be helpful to know where these products are made. Thanks 😊
£16 (pounds) not 16lbs (pounds)!
It only weighs about 14oz! :-)
@@benny_mc haha! Thanks fir this important clarification 👍.
I'll never understand what people don't like about this man....4 dislikes lol
