** UPDATE **
OneTigris have quickly got back to me regarding people bringing up another review of the tent leaking. The first batch of these tents were recalled due to manufacturing issues but all is good now, this is why my own and Marc from MDM have not have any leak issues. I have linked Marcs rainy night in his below if youre interested and just to double check i hall get out as soon as i can in the rain in this just to make sure as ive only had 1 rainy night in it so far.
If you happen to be one of the people that bought from the first batch and have issues, get in touch with OneTigris, they have been nothing but professional with my dealings with them. Side note.. I payed for this tent with my own money as an Amazon purchase (as i needed it quickly at the time for my fort trip) - I am completely unbiased when it comes to reviews and test kit before reviewing. This tent has large problems with leaking in medium to heavy rain. Look at "Outdoor Gear Review" and his experience. He is in contact with One Tigris and they admit to leaking problems. I really hope you are one of the lucky few that has a waterproof one. Xx

@@josedimassm Luke calls things as he finds them. I have had decades of experience with the upper-end tents of my time. We counted ourselves comfortable with the amount of water Luke experienced. I spent time in Quality Control for a different industry: one aim was product improvement. Luke's reviews are as a consumer advocate. Based on what he hears from viewers and on what he experiences on his own camps, he offers judgements, recommendations and suggestions to producers.
i agree but its like anything you will always get a faulty few in every batch.

I do like this tent but some poeple but they have now changed it to light rain rating, though ive had no problems, an alternative is the naturehike cloud peak 2 which is very similar and rated more waterproof

Excellent review Andy, and the follow-up with OneTigris re early-leak problems too. You've definitely helped me make my mind up and this is the tent I'm going for. So many positives about it - especially the inner dimensions and ease of relocation if you've found a bit of of dodgy ground! Cheers.

Ive got one of these bought it direct from Onetigris at the beginning of summer, love it but not really had it out in any heavy rain, I emailed Onetigris about the reviews of it leaking and they admit they had issues with the first batch but the leaking issue has been resolved now, they checked my invoice number and said I shouldnt have any leaking issues because mine was part of a later batch, they suggested I test it out in the garden which I have and it remained dry all night despite heavy rain, Im happy with the tent for the price and what it is .
I think this could be my next tent. Sets up very much like my coleman. Seems a lot more roomy. Just about what I would want to spend also. Thanks for that.
Yes the fly sheet only takes couple minutes, was thinking in the wi d but the buckles seam to take care of this with double doors, very fast for this tents

I really had high hopes for this tent. However, with the leak problems, I am going to pass. For now. I'll wait until OneTigris fixes the leaking issues. Check out Luke's Outdoor gear review on this tent. He put it through the ringer in the rain and has been in contact with OneTigris concerning how bad it leaks. Thanks for the video Andy.

Used it several times also and had no issues with it, great piece of kit with plenty of room for the weight. Chosen it for doing the coast to coast in.👍

This tent gets a thumbs up especially a must to have the double doors here in Florida have to have as much air flow as possible. I take the cover off when I can but our storms come up quickly. We have that raining on one side of the road but not the other sometimes.
I’m looking for a tent for cycling and this might be the one 👍🚴
Gotta say Andy from what I’ve seen the Americans really don’t like this tent company much! I’ve seen Luke at Outdoor gear review has had a lot of leakage problem with them.
My favourite thing about them? The colours! I wish more tent brands would offer the earthy colours!
hmm, thats interesting to hear.. I have 4 one tigris tents and had no leaking issues so far... this one ive only had in the rain once but it was an all night down pour with no leaking.. i can only speak to my experiences though :) youre right about the colour.. a lot of the green tents out there are a bit on the bright / unnatural side.
In some cases products sold in US are slightly different than those sold in Europe.Therefore,reliable people like Luke are honest about their experiences and at the same time,other reliable people like Andy are honest based on their experiences as well.
I'm sure Luke had a problem with onetigris. His anger is very obvious and you can see the pain. Why would he have to make so many negative videos to a tent ???

Another shout to Luke on The Outdoor Gear Review who had water pooling on the floor as the rain came in through the seam around the vents. It was extremely heavy sustained rain for a few hours.

In watching several outdoor channels, I seem to like that style of tent the best. They all look pretty easy to pitch. The vestibules and a great benefit and it does look nice and roomy. It's s shame that some are having leaking issues. I'm sure OneTigris will address that. They don't seem like an outfit that would want second rate kit.
ANOTHER FINE VISIT TO THE FORESTS OF KENT! Reviewers of this tent in the United States note that it will leak around the vent seams in HEAVY or continuous rainfall. I have viewed scenes of leaking in drenching rain. Inflow is no more than we used to handle in high-end tents some years ago. All that was required was the occasional sponging out of water. Two of us stayed reasonably dry. If one of our sleeping bags got damp, we usually could find a sunny day to dry and air things out.
Id just put another tarp or basha over top
I like the look of it a lot and the colour is great... but I watch The Outdoor Gear Review youtube channel and Luke says it had major problems. I know for a fact his reviews are solid as, no bullshit... I'll probably save up for the Litefighter LF1 0r 2 with the cold weather kit...thanks...

There is a new Cosmitto, the Cosmitto 2.0 and seems the problems are solved by OneTigris.
Did you see the release from onetigris regarding the tent? They issued a statement saying that it is only for use in fair weather and is not water proof. It's only water resistant. Check out outdoor gear review for the statement
I want to spend a few days in the blustery winter snow in November. Will this be a good option? I live in Ontario Canada.
Did you test it in a substantial rain? It said there was serious leaking around the vents in another testing I saw of this very same model.

Hi andy just watched a review and a reply from one tigris about this tent leaking, they dropped the hh down to 1500 and rated it to a 2 season tent as they leak when in heavy rain through air vents even when closed, i love the design but wouldnt buy one if it cant take the rain, have you actually been in a heavy down poor with this tent yet atb steve
I'm going on a trip with my friends next weekend and I need to order a tent. Temperatures will be aroung 5-10 degrees celsius. It's kind of between the OneTigris Cosmitto 2.0 and the NatureHike Cloud up 2 right now. Will these two keep me warm in the 5-10 degrees? Which one would you choose?
Mine leaked. The updated 2.0 doesn't leak.

Raise your hands if a tent of yours didn't hold up to company promises, seriously complicating a trip. Anyone? Everyone?
I don't screw around anymore. I pitch a tarp over my tent now, if possible. Don't like the extra weight, but it's worth it.
Also, I test my tents under a garden sprinkler. That has weeded out many.
Almost bought 1 last week, but everyone says that it leaks badly
hmm, out of the 7 or so nights ive used it only one rained but it was a down pour for house and i didnt have any leaking, i can speak to that of my other one tigris tents too so far. i guess there is potential for variations in manufacturing but i can only comment on my experience.

It’s a known problem with the tent, they even updated the product page on the one Tigris site to include a warning about it.

I really like this tent, but i have seen more than one reviews about it complaining about leaking problems, quite a thing.... i am planning a quite long trip and thinking on purchasing one of them but now i am not so sure... problem is "what to get for the same price range with no leaking problems?"
You could check out the nature hike monger, very similar design. I prefer the OneTigris design for the doors, but mine leaks. I’m hoping seam selling it will resolve the problems. One Tigris has updated the website and now have a warning about it not being water proof and not to use in heavy rain.

Hi Josh.. out of the 7 or so nights ive used it 1 night rains and i was a down pour for hours with no leaking at all. ive found all my one tigris tents fine in that regards so far.

Can you leave the outta layer clipped to the inner layer when packing to make it easier to put up in the rain?
I mean if it was raining i would have a basha over top anyway but just to make things easier?

It weighs 5.4 lbs. imo, way too heavy to be backpacking.
So this looks like a rip/knock off of the Big Agnes Frying Pan 2 tent, thats been out for years. It looks like exactly the same, inside and outside. Am I missing something or did One Tigris shamelessly steal another company's design?

He has made 3? First thoughts and then One was the overnight adventure and one was the actual review. His initial review was very positive and the reason I bought it. I should have waited as mine leaks lol
