I got one for the yak and boats since it's so easy to swap around, I'm 3 trips in and love it I was chasing shad schools under the 2 mile bridge last weekend hooking blues, hybrids and crappie 👌
Have you found that you need both units? Or could just the Eagle 9 live work solo for a kayak angler? I am looking to up grade my Kayak electronics this year.
I recently bought the eagle eye 9 and I really like it. You can really eliminate a lot of dead water. We fished for crappie most of the time. We'll worth the money.
@@bkormoski1 screen was not scratched. It had a protective cover I had not removed. Also out comers have a place for flush mounting and I hadn’t installed filler blocks into them
In my opinion getting a lvs32 setup would cost about 500 bucks more.. and be about twice as good..eagle eye is fun but ur missing detail and over half the range.
Thanks for your comment. I looked at garmin system it was actually about twice the price. Itnthink this is a good entry level system for folks wanting to try out FFS. I’ll probably lay eventually move to a full active target system
ua-cam.com/video/jtUJ4Bv3c7g/v-deo.htmlsi=MIgwLs-zjS7mhmh_ She's an angler that does 3D printing for all kinds of mounts. She has a few for the transducer you can order that's cheap but not cheap as in quality. Cheap as in price. Hope this helps you out and also you could have used a bicycle table mount that has a bigger clamp that might work better on what you're doing. It's also on Amazon pretty cheap..
I actually looked at purchasing that but unfortunately my gunnels are not perfectly level as most kayaks aren’t and it doesn’t give the ability to break away in a collision situation and would cause damage to a kayaks hull this is why I chose the way I went

@ I agree. It’s not really about catching fish with it it’s about eliminating that dead water. Most people don’t really understand that aspect of it
Does this not have side imaging?
@ no sir it has live down and live forward. It also has 2d and 3d traditional but not actual side imaging
Why is your screen scratched and chip out of the top of screen surround?
