A sad, pathetic way to fish. I purchased a Garmin Livescope in order to fully understand the technology. I didn't want to be biased by Blaukat, who has no experience with the technology (or so he claims). I have used it extensively on one of my Old Town Sportsman fishing kayaks. And although I've learned a lot observing how the fish react to various lures and techniques, I can't over-emphasize how much I hate fishing this way. I now no longer use it for fishing. I will use it in the forward mode to identify submerged trees and other hazards in shallow water coves. Other than that, a totally unsatisfying way to fish. I'd rather catch one bass on my own than 10 bass using FFS. As a sportsman, I would be embarrassed if I had to admit to people the only way I can catch a bass is via the use of FFS.

@MikeYurbasovich lol , yea right
@curvinh6289 Bass will literally eat anything. They live in scummy ponds to creeks and ditches to pristine rivers to quarries to shallow lakes and can be found everywhere in any of these areas. I'll catch them, but the idea that bass fishing takes skill is laughable.
@MikeYurbasovich catching bass at a tournament level or on high preassure public lakes takes immense skill, more than any other sport , unlimited variables
@@MikeYurbasovichyou clearly know nothing about fishing then.
What unit are you using as the monitor?
Great live from humming bird 👏👏
It’s not for me. Just started fishing 2 years ago and I love the “hunt” of learning and just being outdoors. Maybe if I had a fishing charter business then i would use it.
Are you at Alum here?
How much did you pay (Is the price) for that complete setup with installation. Also wow some great comments and mini wars going on. Just go fish and have fun with whatever you have and please pass it on to your kids lik my father did for me. We bonded over fishing and camping together. Enjoy life. Great info on how fishing is changing. Go to the Adirondack and potage with canoe camp for a week on a pond not much pressure and very little electronics needed. Topo maps allnyou need. Peace out Happy Holiday to y'all
Live Forward Scanning is bringing out the haters due to the expense of these units. I'm older than probably the majority of viewers, and it's a fact that more and more people are getting out on the water and fishing. Population is an issue that's not even talked about. I've seen it. It can't be denied. This is directly effecting fishing, not Forward Scanners.
Just for the sake of conversation, I've noticed something. I'm in my mid 20s and when I was younger, not enough kids were getting into fishing. Now, there's too many people getting into fishing. This community/industry leaves me confused sometimes.
@@marcusyoung2870exactly I remember when I was little around 8 years old being into fishing and it being a dying sport now all the old guys are bitching because young guys are into the sport and whooping them😂
I can’t easily afford a boat and couple of these units. I only started fishing two years ago and took me 8 months to catch my first fish. I just don’t see the point in using these.
If you want to pay thousands of dollars to fish yea sure. Hater no just broke saved up 3k just to get out on the water I ain’t staring at no screen
@A_plusFishing
So what? No one cares what you do or don't do. You pathetic whiners always have to cry about something. Ridiculous.
Is that a ghost tree?
What happened to fair chase?
You mean bobber fishing with worms from shore? Or hunting with a recurve bow? Your definition of fair chase is in your head. Stop crying about what others do, it is none of your business. You should be more concerned about catch and release, creel limits etc. to protect the resource for future generations rather than how someone else enjoys the sport.
Did they fix the trolling motor interference that cluttered the screen
Cheater box. These should be outlawed!!! This is not fishing this is watching TV and playing a video game!!!
Guess I will miss out, Dont have 2or 3 k for an ffs unit.
Meh. Nothing earth shatteringly new here. Just another cheater box that will be obsolete in 6 months until the next “revolutionary” design. Fanboys need to learn how to fish without it. Oh yeah. That’s too much work.
Man. Sold my 15" solix to finance a Livescope unit and an UHD 9. Wish I hadn’t now.
i run 34 on an original uhd93...looks much better than this. You will be happy.
This video and millikens show them casting into open water.
all that fuzz on the bottom won't allow you to pick a fish out of a brushpile.
Watch garmin guru's set-up video to give you a start then adjust from there.
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. ML1 looked great when the sponsored pros showed it off. When the well known unaffiliated scopers switch, I might believe it, but for a long time, I am sticking to Garmin after struggling with mega live for a couple years.
It looks better than my lvs34.
It's not "better" than the LVS34, it is just trying to "be as good" as the LVS34 but I still think it fell short....
🧢
It is deffinately NOT on lvs34 level…
Obviously blows away all unit's, good show👊
How is there a bridge and house under a 50’ lake
many man made lakes were valleys and streams before being dammed up and turned into bodies of water
I can’t wait till these so-called pros start wearing goggles instead of looking down at a fish finder
I wonder how long it will be before anglers if you can call them that will wear googles
I said something like this the other day, it won't be VR but actual reality with the imaging in your sunglasses.
dead flat calm day.
Your killing the sport son..................!!!!!!!!!!!! STOP promoting this nonsense man. You should know better man................?!? SMH
@@iconix21 it makes their job easier and puts money in their pockets. They could care less about anything else. It’s about character/integrity and their lack of it.
I don't have the cash for live, idk if I ever will but I genuinely enjoy picking apart a body water by learning it and using gained knowledge instead of watching a screen all day. I hope the skills aren't lost over time that have been passed down forever-that being said, the technology is amazing
Strait poaching
Image looks ok, just like my LVS34 from Garmin I bought two years ago... 😊
Like your content but just more reasons why I don't watch bassmaster and mlf any longer. Crappie will be decimated in a few more years. It's not fishing.
I use dynamite. It works.
Stupid comment
Tyler may think this is amazing, but it disgusts me. Using FFS gives the user an unfair advantage over the fish.
This is a total abandonment, of what we as fishermen, outdoorsmen and a creature with intellect, should be supporting.
Thanks for all the tips Tyler, but enough is enough. Unsubscribed.
Excellent comment!
Better, yes, but what’s up with the fake thumbnail image?
Is this Explore setup with ML2 going to network with Helix G4N?
no
A sad, pathetic way to fish.
Ban it!
I hate products like this. It isn’t fishing… it’s cheating. Part of fishing is casting where you think the fish would be.
