Sutherland was an incredible Violetta. No one could handle the demands of this aria with such relaxed confidence...including the high Eb...her last performance of Violetta was in her 57th year. 1966 was an appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show in America. 1975 full opera performance in Tokyo. And the performance in concert was 1979 with Marilyn Horne...Lincoln Center N.Y.

I hear you. There’s a person who does that. He takes the radio recording and puts it to the video. The radio recordings are much better quality. It just takes him a long time apparently.. which is completely understandable. 😊
