Thanks for watching and for the comment, we hope you enjoy watching our videos and seeing what we find.
Very cool cache find. I love unique things like that! Some kid either lost his stash or buried it. =P Probably dropped since there's no lid. Hmm.
Thanks Treasure Quest, I've found the plastic Easter eggs with money in them, and the plastic change holders before. It's always fun to find something like that
@@PARelicHunters Oh yeah. Once I found a crushed easter egg with a modern quarter and dime. lol. Once I found a green rubber coin purse with a 1994 quarter inside. It sunk 4" deep in a soccer field. LOL. The special thing about your find in this video is that it's old. Finding an old cache is a dream of mine. One of my friends found a round sterling silver case (kinda like a big makeup compact) with a presidential token inside, and something else I can't remember. Definitely a kids stash. Found in wooded area by an old school.
@@JDsVarietyChannel its not much of a cache, but it's definitely different. I keep hoping one of the makeup compacts we find will have old coins in it
My first cache was an Altiods tin. It was on a playground in the sand. The kid probably buried during school week and I uncovered it on Saturday.
Head out to New Castle on Princeton Avenue. Great road and old houses.
Thank you Heather, we will definitely check them out, it's not to far from us.
Lol 2 pennies "cache"
It's not much of a cache, but was definitely a surprise. I'm sure some little kid buried it there along time ago.
The guy who detected that place before must have been blind and deaf....
Lol Mike, maybe they forgot to turn the detector on
Hello and Happy 😃 Hunting, can’t wait to get outside and do some dirt fishing, so glad the weather is cooperating there.l am so envious of you guys. The 41D dime, awesome 👏.
Thanks Samuel, that video is before the weather changed, we now have snow. This is the first weekend that we haven't got out. Hope 2022 is a great year for you.
Aaauuuu man IT'S A SILVER QUARTER, DANG,STUPID QUARTER, LOLI PRAY FOR THAT SOMETIMES,YOU ARE SPOILED, NO,JUST KIDDING, LOVE YA'LLS SHOW GUYS,KEEP IT UP
Thanks Jeremy, I think we are spoiled sometimes, with the permissions we get and all the coins and relics we find. But we're not going to complain. Thanks for watching and Happy Hunting
I just came across your guys's channel this morning and wow!!! If you're ever in Indiana hit me up I got a lot of permissions feast of the Hunter's moon and camp Tecumseh is right here in town..💯💯 got a lot of permissions just need more coils swinging.. great upload keep them coming thank you God bless..
Thanks for watching and for the invite. Take care and have a great weekend
I remember chewing that bubble gum and reading the comics. saving them also. at least it had a some coins in it. nice silver found too.. Considering this place has been hit by other detectors. they must have either found trash or nothing at all. or had their fun filled digs there.. Good Work Guys and I have no clue on what was held up at the end..
Thanks Dan, I also saved those comics. Next week's video is an amazing relic, that is not often found.
The Continental Trust Company has a Continental soldier on the reverse side.Pretty cool!!
Thanks Scott
CONGRATS ON ALL OF YR FINDS, FOR SURE NICE RELICS👍💕👍
GREAT JOB GUYS. MUCH LOVE
FROM HERE IN MICHIGAN
Thanks Lisa, I hope you are keeping warm in Michigan. I can't wait for Spring to get here.
U guys get some good permissions. And always make a good video to watch. I do watch a very small few other metal detecting channels but I'm partial to you guys channel being your in PA like myself...so I always watch / give a thumbs up on every one. I know its winter and the ground is getting snow covered and solid but keep them videos coming.
Thanks, we appreciate your support and for always leaving a comment. Us Pa. guys have to stick together. This is the first weekend that we haven't got to go out. We still have several videos to put out
I'm in SWPA as well, just saying LOL
@@Mark-TBH me too.
Nice to see ya bk out on the hunt you guys I need to get bk out my self but had so much rain so catching up with your videos see what goods you found as gives me that buzz to get out metaldetecting my self top job happy new year 👍 👍
Thanks Terry, I hope you can get back out soon. The weather is getting cold and Snowy here now, not sure how much we will get out
Loved Bazooka bubble gum comics lol. Very cool! Lots of great stuff guy's! Congrats on the finds!! Some nice permissions for sure. I'm guessing powder flask on the preview of part 2?
Thanks Tim, make sure you watch the next video to see what it was.
Nice hunt guys that is very true that no place is hunted out it seems most people tell me that it’s already been done but I always find something congrats on the silver and that jar with the wheats in it is real cool.
Thanks Mike, we have had some of our best hunts at yards that have been detected before. Take care and Happy Hunting
Just sub to your channel. You found very nice personal finds. The bubble gum comic strips were made of wax paper, probably why it lasted so long.Great video, can’t wait to watch more.
Thanks so much for watching and for the sub. I think I still have some of the comics from when I was a kid. Take care and Keep Swinging
It looks like Dave is using an ETrac. I have an 18"x15" coil available for an ETrac that I didn't sell yet since I upgraded to a CTX3030.
I have the Nox 800, but sometimes pull out the Etrac to use. I do have the big Ultimate coil for it.
That jar is cool! Like a lost a mini time capsule. Finding a catche isn't common at all no matter what it is.
Thanks, I've found a few plastic Easter eggs over the years with coins and bills still in them. Don't know why they were buried, how's a kid going to find it.
@@PARelicHunters burried easter eggs that's a new one. Was in a body of water near a bridge back at the end of September and got on silver catche likely tossed off the bridge into 18-20 inches of water. Overall a sharp 1916 merc, silver ring and 18 one troy ounce silver bars were recovered. No details left on the bars but they test as 99% silver. Nothing else silver there because while it has flooded again since the find the water got cold there really fast. Flood seemed to have unburied the bars enough I could pick them up on detector. Guess I have to wait until like may to go back in the water.
@@metaldetectingthenortheast1294 Wow that's awesome, you definitely have to go back again.
Where in Western PA are you located? I’m in south central.
Pittsburgh area
Great hunt, a lot of silver, you got some great tokens, I recently found a old key to. Keep it swinging 😃
Thanks, tokens are fun to find, there's so many different ones. Old keys are one of my favorites to find. Take care and Happy Hunting
Great video guys! Nice silver quarter & dime! Keep Swingin 💪
Thanks Orlando, 👍 we just got 3 inches of snow on Thursday night, so we didn't get to go out this weekend
Looked like a fun hunt guys!! The jar with the wheats was probably put there in the 1960's. The "Pud" character in the cartoons was from the 60's.
You're probably right, I remember those cartoon strips growing up
bazooka joe comics
New sub nice intro
Thanks for watching!!
You know Dave I have a real affection for the V nickel. Good fine, no matter It's shap.
Rich, That 50 cent bank token was neat. Shawn, the 2 pennies and bubble gum wrappers were awesome. You never told us the years of the pennies. My guess, 40's 50's. It captures my imagination. Some child hid that there for later. Why didn't it return?
Those horses were a great find, color left on and not rusted. Too sweet!
Loved your hunt today. Happy you can still dig. Seen -30 this week, with snow, high winds, an ice.
Take care. Be good to each other. God Bless. Nora
Thanks Nora, I have been lucky to have found a lot of V nickels this year. Richs bank and Roy Roger's tokens were sweet. Shawn's little coin jar and toy horse were awesome. This hunt was when the weather was still nice at the end of last year. We got 3 inches of snow on Thursday night. It's the first weekend that we haven't got to go out. Take care and be safe in 2022.
@@PARelicHunters 2022 is in gods hands. May he be gracious to us all. If It's his will.
See you all when possible. Be safe
I am amazed that the bubble gum wrappers comics were so pristine! I can remember getting those as a kid. Great video thank you so much! Wonderful finds! 😎👍❤️
I think they held up so well is because they are made of a plastic and not paper. I also collected them as a kid, and remember chewing that big wad of gum. Thanks for watching
@@PARelicHunters lol! It was so hard! Lol
If I remember correctly they were wax coated paper. That would be why they held up so well .
@@idigdaytona4478 I think you are right!
Nice finds. The RR on the horse token stands for Roy Rogers. Trigger was his horse. Trigger was stuffed and is at the Roy Rogers- Dale Evans Museum. Definitely '50's.
Thanks Callie, I know about Roy Roger, but he was before I was born. Thats interesting about Trigger. The token is a cool piece of history. Thanks for watching and for the comment
@@PARelicHunters Me too, but my Dad collects Hop-a-long Cassidy, Roy Rogers, Red Ryder, etc.
Hi Great channel I have subscribed to your channel and added you to one of my listings. Regards Johns Detecting Adventures UK.
Thanks John
I enjoy these videos every day!!!! Would you guys ever do a raffle for a nox 800??? I’ve been rocking a Garrett 300 for 3 years now and a older gentleman I run with always runs over my old territory and finds silver. It’s driving me crazy on the things I’m missing. He runs a nox 800. ( 20.00 or 50.00 ) to enter raffle. But keep it up hunters and looking forward to the next video. They keep me interested, living in Minnesota ! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thank you so much Donavan, the Equinox is pretty expensive, they just raised the price again today. I have seen those type of raffles done on Facebook groups before, it's sort of a gamble because if you don't get enough people to take a chance then you have to sell it for a loss. We are hoping to get back out and start detecting again soon
You guys must be really close to where I'm from. I'm 45 minutes east of Pittsburgh in Westmoreland county. I've seen a couple videos where you found things labeled Pittsburgh
Yes in Pittsburgh, we've done some hunting in the Uniontown area before.
You guy's ever end up in the coal region, look us up on Google maps, We swing every day up here , just brought up a pa regiment buckle and a whole buckets worth of mercs .. by the way that Roy Roger's thing was inlayed on a toy holster , I've got one here in my finds display in the clubhouse with everything else I've pulled from the ground.
We are in Pittsburgh, I would love to see that buckle, awesome find!
I love tokens, most favorite thing to dig other than skeleton keys, but that one of the coolest tokens I've ever seen
Thanks Jeremy, tokens rank up there pretty high on the list. That is the first Roy Roger's tokens I've seen. We find lots of tokens through the year.
Awesome video guys congratulations and the proof again a place never get haunted out 👍🤙
Thanks, we have had some of our best hunts last year in yards that were detected before.
I love listenin' to you guys...
The way you say certain words sounds like my family in central Ohio...
Pretty cool, dig the detectin' as well...
My youngest daughter and I used to dig a bit with our old detectors...
Thanks for watching, we're glad you enjoyed the video and listening to our accents. Metal detecting is such a fun hobby.
Silver coins, buttons, skeleton key! Great hunt guys. I would like to get some yards. We always end up in the woods. Thanks for sharing . Stay well and happy detecting. John
Thanks John, we have been hunting the woods lately, but not as many finds as the yards produce.
Hey fellas how is it going with metal detecting? What part of Western P.A. are you guys in? I'm from Pittsburgh pa. but I live in beaver county and I do a little bit of metal detecting myself and maybe sometime I could join you if that would be ok.
Hey Shawn, two of us are in Pittsburgh and two of us are in Armstrong County. We cover a big area when detecting. I bet there's a lot of old sites in Beaver County
Great hunt guys. Sweet coin jar and toys.
Thanks Randy 👍
Well, the river was named by the Indians (means fast river or something) and rich industrialists from Pittsburgh used the area as a summer getaway I'm 1900s. I'd have to brush up on it to tell you anymore.
Thanks Cathy, sounds very interesting
That was pretty cool, caches are hard to find. Happy Hunting!
Thanks Mudswat, I'm sure some little kid lost it long ago. Take care and thanks for watching 👍
@@PARelicHunters Yeah, I don't think an adult buried 2 wheats and some gum comics. I remember those comics, do they have dates on them too? I found a kids cache once. Little plastic box with dimes from '65 '66' 68 (ouch) so close to silver cache. Happy Hunting!
@@MUDSWAT no dates on them, but they might be numbered.
You get a silver, you get a silver, and you get a silver... but where's mine? LOL
Lol, it's out there, we don't always find them. Best of luck in 2022.
In the 1980s I worked at Roy Rogers fast food restaurant they had the most delicious fried chicken and roast beef sandwiches everything was made from scratch I sure miss that delicious food I know there’s a few were Rogers around the truckstops up and down the I-95 corridor but the food just doesn’t taste the same and I was just about to get promoted to be hostess when the store closed down and the only way you got to be hostess is if you fit the white cowboy boots happy hunting and I’m glad I stumbled upon your channel glad to see that as the Hoover boys would say never hunted out even though that woman assured you that many people are already metal detecting on her property😊
I remember Roy Roger's, we had one close by, and would eat there frequently. I believe they replaced it with Arby's. I didn't know they were still around. We're sure glad you found are channel. We have found some of our best stuff at places that were already detected. Take care and have a great weekend
Wicked awesome hunt guys! I got oe of those space ranger pins last year! That's awesome. Great silvers and relics! Whoever was at that spot in the past was not very good lol, all those great signals missed! Never hunted out, we all miss stuff anyhow.
Thanks Chris, that's crazy that you also found one of those pins. It's the first I've seen. We have had some of our best hunts last year at yards that have been detected before. Take care and Good luck in 2022
@@PARelicHunters That is wild, yours is the only other one I've seen also. Really neat. That's fantastic. Good luck to you also! 2022 will be a good year!
Two pennies ( what dates) and bubble gum wrapper in a lip balm jar ? A JAR CACHE OF COINS ?
Oh well - I bit on it.
Thanks Dennis for your comment, sorry if you were disappointed. A cache is a cache no matter how big or small.
Your camera work is making me dizzy! Don’t whip the camera around to much,to fast…good video.thanks
Thanks Keto Lisa for watching and for the comment. We try to do are best when we are out there.
Lovely Rosie and copper ring great hunt enjoyed watching
Thanks for watching and we appreciate the comment. Take care and Happy Hunting
There were two lucky coins made one has the horse shoe the other has wheat above the horse shoe facing down I a V . Great find!
And you're right, no such thing as " hunted out". All depends on when the earth wants to give up what she's been hiding
Thanks for the info, we didn't know that. Thanks for watching 👍
Some nice coins and relics on the day guys. I would love to find a little jar with comics and pennies in it. Those horses are cool. Happy hunting and be well
Thanks Ezra, I would love to find an old change purse someday. It was cool finding 2 of the same lead horses in one yard. Take care and Keep Swinging
@@PARelicHunters that would be a ln awesome find for sure. You better believe that I will be out swinging once spring hits
Comics are freaking AWESOME, with the weaties
I used to collect those Bazooka Joe comics as a kid.
You guys were nailing it with the relics, and some nice coins too! Congrats everyone
Thanks Mike, and good luck in 2022.
The Initial's On The Pin Were SNL, Right? Savings & Loan, or Saturday Night Live.
I like Saturday night live, better. Thanks for watching 👍
Hello PA , nice finds and good hunt, "White Water Jack " from NJ beaches.
Thanks White Walter Jack, we hope you enjoy watching our videos.
Great array of finds you found. We love the little jar was cool. We're still looking for the elusive Skeleton key. Great hunt. Keep swinging 💯
Thanks Bean and Pic, those skeleton keys are not easy to find. Shawn's little coin jar was a neat find. Take care and Happy Hunting
Some good stuff never found a hem weight my detector is still in shop so I've been small mouth fishing machine will be back Tuesday I'm ready to get rid of it
Thanks Steve, sorry about your detector, they should give you a new one by now. I'm sure that is very discouraging. I hope they get it right this time.
So cool. I'd like to some day mudlark along the Connoquenessing, which more or less runs through Ellwood City.
What do you have to lose, you might find some cool stuff
Nice hunts, always love silver in the hole and skeleton keys 👍👍
Thanks DelVal, love the silver also, especially if it's old. Good luck in 2022
hey guys yall are awesome i have a question though what is best used around the house for cleaning your finds? like soap or vinegar or what? thx for the help in advance.
Hi Austin, we just use soap and water on most of the coins, except Coppers and old nickels. Most relics like crotal bells, we just wash them off and maybe use a brass brush on them. We try to leave the patina on them. I know vinegar works on some things but I haven't experimented with it.
So I recently started metal detector again could spend a lot bought a Garrett At Max With super fly coil is it going to find me some silver or did I waste my money
Shawn uses the Garrett and he finds silver and relics all the time, check out some of our other videos. It is a great machine when you take the time to learn it. Search old parks, schools, home sites, fields and try door knocking for permissions. You will find silver and more. Good luck 👍
Wow two pocket watches been a long time since I dug one of them. The toy horses are awesome. Love the tokens and buttons especially the initialed one. Great Hunt guys. Take Care
Thanks, that was my first pocket for the year. It was cool finding 2 of the same lead horses in one yard. Good luck in 2022.
You two. Got out last week got my first Silver of the Year. 1895s Barber Dime. It's on my Channel on Utube. Take Care guys.
What's really interesting is the fact that their all one dig, one sod turned over, holes... sniff sniff, i smell something fishy!!!
Barry Barry Barry, you have me puzzled with your comment " Their all one dig" could you elaborate ? We were at two different permissions, nothing fishy going on.
What a AWESOME video and hunt you Guys! Congratulations on all your awesome finds!
Thanks, we hope you have a great 2022, detecting season
Wondering if those were Bazooka bubble gum comics instead of double bubble?
Yes they were Bazooka Joe comics
Awesome hunt my friend !
I found a bunch of those toy horses and soldiers myself this year , congrats on your cash !
That was my first toy horse, I really like finding those old lead toys
@@PARelicHunters I agree buddy I like finding them too we did a permission this year and we found about 50 of them
@@GetTheBeepOut Wow, that's crazy, I couldn't imagine finding that many.
Great vid and finds!!
What year do you believe the horse is from?
Digging items you want to keep is what it is all about--and you all do it well. I have been thinking hard about the collar disc and the term "United States National Army" is new to me. But, in WWI we were almost an invitee and often subordinate to another command. However, I did spend several years at USNA, not as a midshipman, and I can't help wondering. Anyway, I always enjoy your uploads and looking forward to next week!
Thank you for your service. I have never heard of it either. That's what's cool about this hobby is learning about the different things that you find. Thanks for always watching and taking the time to leave a comment. Next week's find is a really cool piece of history.
Awesome video ...new subscriber...we all dream of finding a cache.
Thanks for subscribing and watching, hoping the next cache will be silver coins. We subed you back, take care and Keep Swinging
4 percent interest on a savings account? Wow, good old days
Yeah really, those days are over. Thanks for watching 👍
In the 80s we got 5% in a plain savings account. Can you imagine? 😎
What were the dates on the Bazooka Joe comics? Theat came out with the wheats in the jar. That can give you a wrough burial date.
Hey Jeff, there are no dates on the comics, but we're guessing the 50s or 60s.
For this permission, did one of you Door knock Or do you already know the person? I’m very interested in what people say when they do door knock. Thanks for your help!
These were two different permissions on the same day. We did not know the home owners. When we door knock, we all go to the front door to talk to the owner. We introduce ourselves and tell them that we Metal detect on the weekends. We tell them we stop at old houses, like yours, and we like to save the history that's in the ground. We are looking forward old coins and relics. Would it be OK if we can search your yard? We will show you everything that we find. Alot of people are interested in history and would like to see what you find. I hope this helps you.
@@PARelicHunters Thank you. That sounds good!

Thanks Jeremy 👍
Roy Rogers andTrigger! His Pali into horse!dont ya member??
Yes I remember, thanks for watching, we're glad you enjoyed 😉
What are your thoughts on people that fake or stage incredible dug finds?
That is a great question friend! We have seen other video and also question if that was real or if that was a set up. We think it is a wrong way to get a view. We put research into where we are going to detect and what is or was in that spot most of the time. There are times we just door knock a house just because of the age. We also have never been scared away when a home owner says that someone had already detected the property, because it is hard to find everything in a yard. They could have an old detector or they are just going in to find the high signals. We go in and dig every signal because you never know what it could be. What are your thoughts friend and thank you for the comment.
What a fun video, but my dearies, there is no plural to "anyway".
Thanks TheBellmare, we stand corrected 👍. Thanks for watching and for the comment. 😉
Great hunt and finds! Seems like you guys always pull at least one silver.
We try our best, we might be trying to catch up to you this year.

Hello I'm from Pennsylvania 90 miles east from Erie pa
Hey Randy, welcome to our channel, looks like we are getting some sleat and snow at the end of the week
You guys are awesome, the finds are always great. Like to know how you guys get your permissions to hunt all of these great properties? Most of the times people won't even answer the door nowadays. Any advice?
Rich and I live in the city, and Shawn and Jerry live in the country, so there are lots of older houses that we stop at. We hunt on the weekends and not everyone is home, we run into that also. We knock on doors and introduce ourselves and what we do for a hobby. We tell the home owner we make videos and put them on UA-cam where you can check us out. Be very friendly and talk like you know them, it helps. Not everyone will say yes, but you will be surprised at the ones that do. We try to show them everything we find, sometimes they leave and let us continue detecting. It's not to often that someone will ask for something we found. Don't get discouraged, even if they say it's been detected before, ask if you still try. I hope that helps you some.
@@PARelicHunters thanks, and we'll see what happens
