I hope you are all having a good day! Here's the link to the video where I found the last 33 year gap silver spill back in 2015: ua-cam.com/video/N3ZTVGhE4Oc/v-deo.html
I live in east Tenn. 5 mins from General Longstreet Museum. I am sure that I am sitting on a gold mine where my house is. I have lived here 30 years and love working outside in my yard. Over the years and still to this day I can dig a hole for planting flowers and find pennys. EVERYWHERE! I have found old horse shoes that have ended up nailed to my outdoor fence. My dream? to purchase a metal decetor. I wrote down the brand that you use and will soon own my own. I wont be searching for a gold case full of coins but what ever I find I will be like a kid on Xmas morning. These so called pennys from heaven I have found I am sure their are hundreds more on my property. Happy hunting and I will keep you informed.
Great hunt! I started thinking of your "Jackpot" video from all those spills. I am glad you found your camera, I know the sick feeling you get when you realize you lost something.
I would really love to go metal detecting to add to my coin collection. The oldest coin I have was found in a jar of marbles that my grandpa bought at a yard sale when he was a kid. It is a 1828 penny
I recently started doing this detecting, family has a farm started on a field quite fun, found a couple of coins, a farthing from 1600s and a victorian one from 1800s
I live channels like yours I’m now a new subscriber and I’ll be recommending your channel to my friends great video very informative and some great finds amazing all the best god bless
Interesting you found a bunch of pennies my Mom told me people would bury pennies under hydrangea bushes to give the flowers on the bushes a deeper blue color sometimes. (Saying the copper in the pennies helped) Don’t know if that’s the case with these pennies but an interesting thought.
That’s interesting, I never knew that. My first guess was some kid was burying their money in the yard to create some kind of treasure hunt for themselves later on only to immediately realize they already forgot where they buried them 😂
Awesome to watch you digging up all this treasure. I’m eager to get out ASAP to start hunting myself. Just bought property that has been in same family since 1905 so I’m sure there are some treasures on the old home stead and around the property. Thanks for sharing your videos
I'm from the UK. We have a tv comedy show called The Detectorists about metal detecting. Mackenzie Crook from the Pirates of the Caribbean films wrote and stars in it. You would love it.
I've always known the number 33 as the "master number" and symbolize the fact that anything is possible. Don't know where I was taught it but it's stuck in my head for a long time.
Great hunt JD. I googled up the lesney matchbox cars. Fell into a rabbit hole of matchbox car restorations /collection vids. Thanks again for taking us along pal always a pleasure to watch
Wow awesome video, had to work but, I finally had a chance to catch your video! That farm kept on giving to you! Everything you found was so cool, speaking about daja vu you had that moment! I think that piece with the rings maybe part of some type of metal vase! I remember taking ceramics and I made something similar to that peice! Over all great video!
2 videos in 2 days from the g.o.a.t.,heck yeah!!Gonna binge some old J.D.content,get some fresh batteries and get in the dirt tomorrow myself.Take care man,✌
Thanks for chiming in. That very well could be. I actually pictured that running along the bottom part, but wasn't quite sure. Would be a fancy one if that's the case. :)
A smart man would keep a water bottle with him to give the items quick wash off right as they come out of the dirt. A bottle of Aquafina with a small hole in the cap made by a push pin makes a nice mini sized high pressure sprayer, the harder you squeeze the more pressure you get...
When I was skiing in Colorado back in the 70s I rode a chair lift with a man who had been in the German army ski troops. He was a plumber in Denver. He asked my name and I told him Leadabrand. He said, "thats a good kraut name."
Good to see you brother I'm glad you're back and you're alive, and everything is good!!! I came across a dollar bill at the end of the serial number it had a ⭐.. do you know if that's??✌️❤️🏇🏇🏇
the dex thing you found was the cap/lid to a medicine bottel normally used for cattel and sometimes used for pigs during burth if there is any issues with them having burth and the part that said 5% is how much of the dex that was mixed with other medicins used to help the sumbject you are yousing it on
I'm in Massachusetts found alot of treats.i discovered a sunken schooner on the beach in front of it we pulled so many silver coins n jewelery .kept it hush hush for a month. People eventually caught on n the news came down..the Joshua James society didn't even take a GPS on it.its still there but haven't had low sand levels since
I hope you are all having a good day!

Very interesting! I especially like how you record the actual find then immediately show us the cleaned up artical. Keep up the good work.
Very nice. Like your voice and enjoying this video.
Lol I used to Watch you all the time I’m glad I found you again
JD, it's so good to see you came back. You have one of the most interesting programs out there about detecting.
90% of the buildings in my town are 19th century or older. We have 13th century castle ruins in the town centre. England is a history nerd's dream.
This is great for guy recording finding dimes and stuff, imagine losing a dime in 1917 tho
$0.10 in 1900 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $3.10 in 2020, a difference of $3.00 over 120 years.
Means are money had wayyyy more value than then it does now sad
The piece you found is an old hair broche. Dating late 1800's.
Some lovely silver
Usually most youtubers put stuff in dirt a pretend that they didn’t put the item in the dirt.. but this seems legit so good video
I've never encountered a toy car from England. Cool find.
Wooow!!You are so lucky!💪
Awesome finds. Good for you and good luck with your future hunts.
The decorative piece looks like the ornamental edge that around the wick and reflects the shadow through the globe
The decorative band looks like a short scabbard decor dressing..check with a swordsmith🙂
Another great video JD! Some really cool finds. Love the old lesney car. Keep them coming....
Great video JD glad you found your camera bag. Thanks for sharing. *Chris*
Glad to see you are back out and feeling better my friend!!
1860 Old !!!!!!!!!! That’s still classed as a new build in the U.K. 😜🇬🇧
Yeah i went on vacation to Edinburgh and was suprised about how old everything was lol
My very first silver ever was a1917 Merc. Love your videos man thanks for sharing. I'm about to head to a 1900 house in just a bit

Anytime I get to watch a JD Metal Detecting Video, my day is upgraded. :)
What are you doing here
He’s back! Loved the format of this video. Relaxing and at the same time, exciting with good finds. Back to basics. Metal detecting!
I would really love to go metal detecting to add to my coin collection. The oldest coin I have was found in a jar of marbles that my grandpa bought at a yard sale when he was a kid. It is a 1828 penny
... When I Was A Kid, I got a 1868 Shield nickel In POCKET CHANGE...
I recently started doing this detecting, family has a farm started on a field quite fun, found a couple of coins, a farthing from 1600s and a victorian one from 1800s
@honorabili1 Wow... My Pop From When He Was Small Collected. He Had A 1900 Victoration.
@@hellothisisfortnitemobile1713 nice do you do this?, still going at it a 1890 victoria Silver Double Florin found yesterday and a load of rusty metal
Damn man, I wanna start going to spots where I can detect for coins. I live in australia and it would be nice to find a gold sovereign, 10,000 AUD
That's pretty cool. I only find goodies when I till my garden. Found a few silver half dollars and a revolver once....
Great video, great finds and 👍 up. Thank you for sharing JD. Keep safe.

*THANK GOD FOR THE RIDICULOUSLY MASSIVE ARROW IN THE THUMBNAIL TO SHOW US WHERE THE HOUSE IS!!!*
Love that you are back outside
I have always found metal detecting fascinating as a possible hobby, but at my older age, I think about the Dane Cook joke! ;-)
First time watching. What a great find! Loved the video.
Awesome to watch you digging up all this treasure. I’m eager to get out ASAP to start hunting myself. Just bought property that has been in same family since 1905 so I’m sure there are some treasures on the old home stead and around the property. Thanks for sharing your videos
Ever find anything?
My house was built in 1856
Definitely need to medal detect here!
There’s an old house by where my grandpa lives from the 1700’s! Hopefully they’ll let me detect around it :’)
any luck?
Love that car! And of course the silver! Love it all! Very cool!
Cool little car. One day you may get one of those large date separated coin spills.
.
I like the old paint on it!
You made me fell like I was with you! You are doing a great job Thank You
Thank goodness for the big white arrow ,I would never have spotted that house
You had a AWESOME day! My favorite is the toy car.

I noticed that’s a cubscout “weblo” slide for the neckerchief … I am a cubmaster , and hang onto that ! Great find !
That's a pretty neat house tbh.
Great video but what else would expect from JD. keep up the great work and glad to see you back, healthy and productive🙏🤙🤓🇺🇸
Great hunt JD. I googled up the lesney matchbox cars. Fell into a rabbit hole of matchbox car restorations /collection vids. Thanks again for taking us along pal always a pleasure to watch
Am glad you are back .
This is awesome. I never thought detecting would be this much fun. I started a magnet fishing channel a few months ago. Now I want to do this as well
It's a decorative piece for the top of a hanging light that goes on top of the shade
All stuck together like that was probably a spiritual offering
That's a field I would hunt for years.
good to see hou back and digging again!!! hope you are well

Glad you found some old footage. Cool finds. That one decorative piece may be part of a lantern. Take care:)
That was my thought too.
Thanks for chiming in. That very well could be. I actually pictured that running along the bottom part, but wasn't quite sure. Would be a fancy one if that's the case. :)

Webelos neckerchief slide- 4th and 5th graders now boys and girls!

4 silver coins ! That's a good day 👍

The square thing you found with the corn cob on it I am pretty sure it is future farmers of America I have an identical one
the dex thing you found was the cap/lid to a medicine bottel normally used for cattel and sometimes used for pigs during burth if there is any issues with them having burth and the part that said 5% is how much of the dex that was mixed with other medicins used to help the sumbject you are yousing it on
Im really happy for you you managed to find a coin made in 1917 and only 1 year older than my great grandpa
Coins spilled in different times maybe when folks pulled house keys out of their pockets as they approached the front door?
Great hunt! Watching from Scotland and seeing similar stuff, though some older finds here when I’m lucky. Be well and be happy 👍. Slainte 🥃
The cool pin thing you found I’m pretty sure it is a boy scout emblem ( I’m in scouts)
I love all ur videos. So interesting, love history.
Hello I enjoy your editing how you show us the clened up finds with info before you go on to next THANK YOU
You should send that old car to Martys Matchbox Makover it would be cool to see your video finding it and him fixing it back to like new condition ..
Nice find on the Merc.
That square brass with diamond center is a Weblows scarf tie holder....
The correct spelling is Webelos. Those letters stand for "We Be Loyal Scouts".
Looks like an old oil lamp chimney holder.
Thank you for the surprise.
I would guess that the laced metal mystery piece is either a hair comb or a hair clip; seeing the back cleaned up might make it clearer.
I too, thought it might be some sort of hair clip. I also thought perhaps a flattened out cloth napkin ring or something.
JD that one with the lopes might be for hair comb.
Beautiful finds!!!!
Ten cents was a lot of money to lose back in the day.
That's too funny, JD, my parents & my X, back in the day (early 70's) both had Zephyr 6's! UK, obviously!...
Nice!

Can't believe tires were still on it. Lol
Yeah, they usually don't have all the wheels when dug. Haha.
Wow a metal detecting video cool. Nice finds JD, silver, Boy Scout kerchief slide & love the N&W bag seal.
