  • Money Tree is a common houseplant. It likes tropical climate, a lot of indirect sunlight and humidity. It is symbolically associated with good financial fortune and is commonly seen in businesses, sometimes with red ribbons or other auspicious ornamentation attached.
This video shows how to propagate them from their cuttings.

Thanks so much for having the patience to film the growth overtime. Many videos I've seen only show a snapshot of propogation. Also good to see the success and failures. Let's us see that not all cutting with be successful.

Thank you for putting all your updates in one video... it is so pleasurable to watch everything together and know how your plant grew... its so off putting when other channels don't put updates in same video and you have to search endlessly.

I usually just root mine in a glass of water on the window ledge! Takes a few weeks, just keep changing the water once/week until you get roots then plant in the pot. Obviously this way works too but I enjoy watching the roots grow!

Thank you for all the education you taught me on how to propagate my money tree and the different ways to grow them whether done in water or in soil. I've always been afraid to cut my money tree. it is quite tall right now about 6 feet tall but very leggy but i want it more bushier. but now i am not scared to cut it and get more plants from it. thank you again!!
