I never was much of a Slipknot person, but this song I absolutely love. Gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. The singer, Corey Taylor told what the song is about. He said, ""This is the slow one. It's another personal one. Again, not naming names, it's about someone who helped me through a lot and I thought she felt the same way that I did and then she really let me down. At the same time, it was good that she did, because it was that final push to me figuring out myself. The lyrics are pretty self-explanatory." Great song you guys, and terrific reaction! Keep on rocking!

Well this is always a real pick me up. Great song, I love the lyrics. When I hear Corey sing like this it always reminds me of the dark paths of his life. The man is a true master.

Well this opened my eyes to something new ... really enjoyed it with you ... Slipknot was too shouty for me and switched off to them after a couple of songs but you cannot judge a band by that
you have educated me to try and explore a few more songs ... great to hear the vocalist and the song

Slipknot is loud because they're angry when you listen to the lyrics and understand why they are so angry you will understand why they have the energy and aggression they did. You will learn to appreciate it

If slipknot is too "shouty" you might like stonesour better Corey Taylor does impressive work with that band

#WASP Charisma, Dave from Sulphur LA. I love this song and the video is really unique. The story he tells is amazing and will absolutely blow your mind. It's about how the devil has been involved in many aspects of history through powerful people. Thanks.

I've been right on the outskirts of the mosh pit and in the moshpit for 2 Slipknot shows, both of which, featured Spit It Out and it was AWESOME both times.

Theres an acoustic live version of just Corey. He breaks down and cries. He dedicated it to their fallen brother Paul. He was the bassist and was one of the original members from the beginning. Very sad, he had demons and unfortunately those demons won

The first time i heard this song, i immediately looked at the meaning of the song and realized it was about a woman that Corey actually liked and loved, but the woman never reciprocated the feelings, leaving him to feel the emotions you can obviously hear from his tone and lyrics. It was also the last song that 2 of his band members would be playing as one passed away, making Corey even more emotional for the song. With all the terrible relationships i went through, i shared this song as a tribute for those relationships where i was used, abused and cheated on. I deeply relate to this song.
But not sure if it has been done or not, but listen to #Slipknots song "Devil In I". Its what you would expect, a little gorey but talks about the feelings people go through such as depression and facing those demons (hence named devil in I). Not 100% sure but another slipknot member may have passed away but during the video, they "kill off" the old slipknot as the new face of slipknot is seen playing throughout the video. Of course they all wear masks and upon the change of the new faces of slipknot, some masks actually look the same but have minor detail changes. Definitely worth a reaction as its also one of their most popular music videos to react to.

#Soundcity #FromCantoCant The Slipknot singer sings it. When I found out I couldn't believe it as I'd only known the sound of their 1st 2 albums which aren't my bag. After hearing this song I looked up videos on YT. I discovered that from the 3rd album on they added musicality to both their music & the vocals which was a game changer for me.
