Geez Rich, I just had my first child last week - a son. I am so sorry to hear this, I love that you and Kel listen to music that your son enjoyed. It's truly a special way to remember him.
My heart breaks for the loss of your son. My girlfriend has drug resistant epilepsy. We have had some close calls and I'm in a constant fear of losing her. The love you and your wife share with each other and for the music reminds us of our own relationship. Slipknot is a special band and a huge reason I'm still here. There music has helped many people like myself. Thank you for seeing and appreciating their talent, and for being yourselves. Maggots get ready slipknot is back.
P.S maggot is a term of endearment for there fans.
This is the best Slipknot album since Iowa by far. I've been a fan of theirs since they released the single for wait and bleed (their first single) and this whole album has me more excited than any album since high school.
You guys almost restore my Hope in relationships. Keep up the good work you two.

One of the greatest things about Metal music is that every time you listen to a song you've already heard, you still hear it differently....and it's great!!!!

Wow, I love this song! Watching your reactions and finding new metal is like rediscovering those old an new songs all over again. So sorry for loss. So happy to see you get into and finding the passion your son had in this music, great way to deal with the grief. The loved ones we lose are immortal if you keep them alive in your heart.

Kel & Rich, thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. My younger brother at one point in his life suffered from complications from epilepsy for years, and luckily was able to pull through. He has been seizure free for over a decade. I love how you guys are continuing your son's legacy and spreading the healing power of music as well as your love for it. Just found you guys tonight. This is the second video I’ve watched. First, I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful son Jared. As a mom of 3 boys, ages 22, 15 and 12, I just can not even imagine the pain in your hearts.
My 2 youngest boys play guitar, bass, guitar, ukulele, harmonica, stand up bass , piano and bassoon, so there is a lot of music in my home as well.
I’ve loved metal all of my life but am also very eclectic loving most other genres as well (metal is in my bones though, lol) i love your reactions so far, you are both open and articulate. I’m going to subscribe and keep watching.
Corey Taylor recently quit smoking so there is an apparent improvement in his vocals on this album.

I could be mistaken, but I think I had the pleasure of meeting your son at one point in time within the last year in 2018. It would have been right before September. I'm in sales and may have helped him out with his products. 'Fractured Anatomy' sounded so familiar...once I heard British Columbia, now I'm almost certain it was the same individual. I am so sorry to hear about your loss, but it sounds like he lived an amazing life.
