Downpipes, intercooler, direct cold air intake, turbo inlet pipe, and the big one - Dorch Engineering HPFP - its this which allows the fuel to really flow at a much better and more efficient rate 👍 and to bring it all together stage 2+ custom tuning. This is the only way to get serious BHP out of the N55 without upgrading to Pure Turbos mate.
Normal stage 2 with DP and intercooler you will be stuck at around 425-430 BHP tops. Chuck in the Dorch HPFP and this shoots it up to the 470 bhp range on 99 ron fuel.

@@TimWilliamsHD Yep bro, AET Motorsports up in the north have personally tested it and they say that the pull in the midrange with the upgraded HPFP along with the other goodies is savage all the way to the redline!😫👍
Plus there have been a handful of peeps over on probably the biggest Bmw forum in the world -Bimmerpost.com in the USA, that have upgraded their HPFP along with the other supporting mods, who also report back that its turned their car into a missile and that they walk away from Fx m4/m3 Comps which put out around 450hp no problem lol 😉
Of course after all this you are now at the up most limit of the stock turbo with the fuel system now taken care of lol So only way from here is to upgrade to those good old beastly Hybrids 👌👏
MHD call this stage 2 as they consider stock N55 M2 tuned out the factory as stage 1. I have the DO88 intercooler, well built and good price, check it out. You'll get everyone saying get CSF, nothing wrong with it except mounting holes are open ended/lousy. Stage 1 on M2 is like adding DP, noticeable bit minimal. Stage 2 is more noticeable for sure, car is noisier and flies down the road. Also recommend doing MST V2 turbo inlet pipe to let your turbo breathe, you'll get better spool response and maintain more power at the top end which is proven on Dyno I did (30hp approx more at red line Vs stock). I'm back to base map now and it's so smooth, but am planning Dinan (stage 1 turbo) for as you say ~450hp

I'd say stick it on the dyno mate. Especially if you're going to go for more power. Not just for your own knowledge, but there's probably people watching your videos who will want to know what they could get from their M2/N55 if they did similar mods. Some people add power so they 'feel' its fast enough, others chase numbers.

If you want to hand out gapperoni's,get hcp to tune your car mate.I'm hcp stage 1 right now in my 240 and i've gapped stage 1 mhd 140,bm3 140,celtic tuning stage 1 240 etc etc.

You could end up chasing your tail modding this esp on track as it'll overheat. Might be worth considering swapping to M2 comp or M4, seems temp management is better on S55. Loving the vids, lots of lols :)
Need to get out in your m4 I think at some point! Yes the n55 is known to need an intercooler upgrade, will deffo slap that in before Bedford next month…Think a M4 makes most sense to get out of the 1/2 series interior 🤔

I literally can't believe it, you say "they need to trim these hedges" on that road, and it got me thinking of yesterday I was out of my usual area and driving on a narrow road with hedges like that, I thought the same thing as I was pulling over to let people past near those blind corners and it was only after continuous watching, the road you're driving on is the very road i was on yesterday, how weird😂

Yeah crazy man :') I'm originally from Harlow (back in the late 90s) but live in Braintree now and yeah had to go there to visit cemetery, just recognised the road. You too hope you're well too, loving the M2 content 👍

Nice video isnt a m2 comp stock 425 bhp same as m3/4 i would consider going from a naughty 140i to a m2 comp feel like m2 gen 1 is more like 140i in terms of engine and the b58 engine is better than the m2 engine in my opinion for upgrades

Sell it get the comp, no tune has ever improved reliability the fuel argument I’d love to see that get a standard m2 and travel in a tuned one and see which one goes further
Have you ever driven the OG and Comp back to back ?
Will be potentially in the summer…but think it needs to happen, I think if I was going to go s55 I’d rather just get an early model m4..

Exactly right, handling parts at practically identical, n55 sounds better…for tuning deffo s55 but if I can get to 450 I think I’ll be okay lol
