I just went from stock to stage 2 to stage 2+ a week later, man i love how this car sounds, i essentially have a full through straight pipe and it's unlike any of the cars i've owned , i love it, cheers to your brotha! i'm running MHD so stage 2+ to me is dp, intercooler(i also have a intake aswell)
I have the Turner for my performance tune. You'll need a tune when you delete the cat. I ran the car when I purchase after the break-in for a baseline, then after add-on mods because I wanted t know what works and what's doesn't. I seat of the pants test isn't as reliable and a change in sounds will cloud what real performance gains you will get. Delete the mid-pipe and you'll really hear the turbo whine.
Sounds great, running similar setup on my f30 335i with catless DP but I gotta say its pretty loud , thinking maybe I should have bought catted to tone it down a bit. Anyway, it sounds great no sign of rasp at all unlike F3x M3's & M4"4. Great.

Love the sound. The car is coming along very well. I agree with the rear bumper idea. Why did you decide on catless downpipe? Aren’t you worried about the smell? Since it’s your daily.
Catless all the way... if you're considering any sort of turbo upgrade you need catless. Plus the smell really isn't that bad.. and it's my daily ;)

I have the GTS Startup Roar (N55) and I have no issues with idle

@@connorsmith6546 i had issues with it but im not totally sure its because of the GTS startup so i wouldnt blame that. I've been using the cooling option its been working wonders for me, although switching the car to comfort increases the oil temp and water temp significantly.

The best is with burbles turned off. I had them on for like 25 minutes and got sick of it. The car has enough natural burble that you don't need anything extra. Ruins the sound of the exhaust note on the deceleration.

What happens to the warranty to your car? Are you worried about it?
Asking because I have a 440i and don't want to lose the warranty.
Anytime you mod your car it voids the warranty unless you set it back to stock when you goto get it serviced ( at the dealership of course).
