M2 is better overall but for me personally I’m never going to the track. Just backroads on the weekends shifting a 6 speed. But also it’s cheaper. But it shouldn’t have that m badge
It’s not that the m240i is a better car then the m2 obviously, it’s just that the engine is better , more reliable , more power easily, and less and cheaper maintenance, that includes breaks tires suspension etc …
I just bought one today, without OPF and the big M breaks :D but after watching the last minutes.. why do I need those big breaks^^ can´t wait to get the licence plates..

The N55 is just fine for what it is. An entry level M. There are a ton of M2 Comps, M3s and M4s for whoever needs more power (which you can’t easily put down unless on very well maintained roads)
Some people like the M2, some like the M240. I like the M240, that is why I bought it. Plus I wanted to have a convertible and good suspensions. KW V3 / ST XA. Made no sense paying for suspensions and stuff in an M2 which people then still change because of its shittiness.. and I also love understatement. It is much more fun here in Germany to drive the M240 here on German Autobahn, people will not directly know your torque and if they can bully you or not :P Bullying > Getting bullied

Cute but stage 1 is not enough he needs a DP resonator delete straight pipe and a TU pump to be on stage 2+ that’s when you really release the b58 potential
Hold on i doesnt have opf anymore ? How ? i mean i assume correctly that you are in germany yes ? and the tuv does not like opf deletes. but great video i watched it till the end. would have been nice if we could have seen the speedometer as you were driving though.
showing the license plates with an illegal opf modification is not the best idea. If you hold the downshift paddle a litte bit longer he shifts automaticly to the lowest possible gear. i have the same car with mhd stage 1 & xhp stage 3, 440hp and 620nm
Any modification to the powertrain of the car will invalidate your warranty. If you're worried about that just wait until it comes out of warranty and then do the mods
@@oliver3699 Yes it will be detectable. Once they plug that computer in your car they will be able to see everything that was done. They probably won't care unless you're going there to get work done under warranty, at which point they will obviously argue that you modifying the car caused it to fail therefore invalidating your warranty

Most people fast forward to the car they have chosen to find out how fast is it for the money I am paying. That's what most people look for. Performance facts, Cars style interior and exterior = interest but the buck stops with what can I expect when I floor the gas pedal .
M2 is mutch better handling and breaking car on the track, DCT gearbox is faster and more brutal than 8speed ZF in m240. Besides M2 looks and sounds way better.
My friend ur wrong the ZF8 is miles ahead of the DCT whether it’s tuned or stock and the m2 Carry’s the n55 a shit motor compared to the b58 in ever circumstance besides maybe sound cuz that’s preference based
@@G20Gabe zf8 is slower, boring and mutch less fun than dct. B58 is better engine but it's not milles ahead over n55 and n55 sounds better, not to mention steering , handling and looks which are mutch superior than m240.

It's not even remotely close to an M2 it's so far from an M2 it's like comparing my Corvette to a Prius they give you skinny bicycle tires on the m240i it doesn't handle anywhere near what an M2 handles like the motor has pistons

@@azizdrives who cares if it's all-wheel-drive the suspension is nowhere near as good do your research bro look at the reviews look at the difference in the cornering power look at the difference in the suspension the stock m240i has bicycle tires and a cheap garbage suspension withcoffee can pistons they can't hold any power it's not faster than the M2 you're completely wrong look at the times on any track and it gets smoked it's too heavy it's too slow and it has bicycle tires do you know what bicycle tires are 225 run flat tires are garbage do your research one of these things I'm not biased in anyway mine happens to be before they totally screwed the design and put on the cheap run flats it's impossible now to get decent tires and wheels unless you get the ETK package do you even know what the ZTK packages is - the last thing it's governed to like 100 miles an hour because it has run flats 😂😂😂

M2 Comp > M240i > M2 when it comes to engine. always shocks me that the base M2 doesn't have an S55

With xdrive it’s 4.1 and the new one can get 3.6 seconds stock
