- More than five million refugees from Ukraine are trying to settle into new homes across Europe.
The Welsh Government has said it's working to find homes for about 200 Ukrainian refugees it sponsored to come to the UK, who have been staying at one of its welcome centres.
The centre, run by the Welsh youth organisation the Urdd, offers everything from education and employment support to activities for the children - but it's due to reopen to the public later next month.

This will be a huge challenge for many countries. Here in Denmark most refugees are feeding off the welfare system and are expected to do so for at least 5 years until they become financially self-reliant. Mainly because their level of education is completely incompatible with the highly-specialized jobs the country can offer.

Thanks to the people of Wales for helping these refugees. I'm from the USA and I visited North Wales for a month. I know that the Welsh people are proud of their language, and they have the best-looking flag in the world. It is not practical to prioritize these refugee children to be learning Welsh. They should master English first and if they want to, they can later study Welsh.
Sorry, if you are in Wales, you learn Welsh. That is the language of Wales. It is not for you to decide what language in Wales takes precedent.
If your in a Welsh school you learn the same as everyone else thats there, that's all there is to it. Also what better way to learn about the country your living in than by learning their language.

I met some Ukrainian refugees who told me they are trying to get back to Ukraine. It was a mom daughter and baby. I'm in Moldova. The lady said that they spent four months in France but were treated poorly there.
When Ukrainians went to Europe, they believed that everyone would be given a home in Germany or France, besides, they were sure that they would receive such an allowance that they would not have to work at all.

When you say “settling”, do you mean it to be temporary or permanent? Any hope of these refugees going back to Ukraine when the war ends?
I guess their stay is permanent.
Whilst if of a darker colour fleeing the same kind of persecution your get to settle in Rwanda….whoooppppeeee!!
