Looking Like a Truck Again - The Neglected Chevy C10

- This one doesn’t fit in the Land Rover group. But after buying it 12 years ago I suppose it is finally time to do something with it.
Today we see if we can get the Chevy C10 looking like an actual truck. Wild that it took us 12 years to get to this point. But I guess better late than never.
I was originally intending on selling this once it was running and driving. But now that I have eyes on how it will look that may be hard for me to let go of.
Weird to be playing with something that isn’t a Land Rover.

The way you talked to the camera while laying out the hole in the bed to cut, is exactly how I talk to my self while doing similar things. No camera needed for me.😮

It only took me 12 years to get going on it haha. But no the shop is finally in a place to get some stuff accomplished around here.
I'm not much for slammed vehicles, although I will admit that truck looks pretty cool. Given the choice, I would have tried to get the frame back to stock so that the bed would fit as intended. A fun project, but then again you have lots of fun projects going on. And each project you touch has Sasha adding to her OSHA violations list. You're keeping her busy! 😉

There is a cool video Andrew Camarata has on the garage chain winch thing. Might want to get some ideas.

hey go find another bed and cut it out to match the ribs and use that to cover it. It would take more work but it will match all the way through. And how is that going to be driving in and out of the garage. Looks a bit to low for a land rover driveway lol
That would work out swell to patch in.
It is a little bit different in the elevation department than the Land Rovers isn’t it?
