    Nice video, was the constant rattle on the soundtrack from your camera or the interior ?? !!
    Isn't there a suspension option you can buy to stop the wobble, like there is on the 3008 Hybid4 as that drives and handles well ?? !!
    How would you compare this 505 RXH to the 3008 Hybrid4 ?? !!
    Cheers and keep up the good work !!!

    On paper they will do that. But I try to give the real-life figures I achieved during my week-long tests. Good news is this car's mpg should stay pretty much constant regardless of whether its in the city or on the open roads. The electric motor helps to reduce fuel consumption in traffic.

    I'll see what I can do. It depends on whether Infiniti has FX50S press car or not. I had it a couple of years back, and it was amazing. Sort of like manga on wheels.

    M mode cannot be switched on without wanting to because the lever must be first raised and then switched to M and when switched to N must be raised to otherwise it cannot be moved there. It can be moved from N to A and vice versa but in order to switch to R or M mode the lever must be raised up and then forward or backward, respectively.

    Even if not an FX50, they might have the FX37.Why was it amazing? How would You compare it to lets say a BMW X6 (optional engine ofc). I already own an suv from the Nissan family, a Murano AWD fully otptioned. I love the damn car to death lol, very functional and taking in mind how heavy it is, it's really economical on long distances.
    Im planning on leaving the Murano for my parents as a daily driver and thinking of getting either an FX50 or the X6 35i (or maybe even M version).

    Unfortunately. But in some countries/cities you pay lower taxes or no congestion charge for driving a hybrid.

    Dlaczego RXH nie ma P? To proste! Bo ma zautomatyzowana skrzynia reczna a nie klasyczny automat hydrokinetyczny. W recznej skrzyni biegow tez nie ma P i takze powinno sie urucchamiac silnik na N. Znajomosc techniki zastosowanej w testowanym aucie pomaga... :)

    Do these only drive in zev mode and zero emissions on a flat road? Mine goes to diesel mode up a very slight hill or if you but the heater on..

    • @MarekDrivesENG
      @MarekDrivesENG  Рік тому

      It's a pretty old car, so their hybrid may have been rough around the edges. But it's likely it can go in electric mode only for brief moments on flat roads or down hill. The idea is to assist or replace the petrol engine during taking off, crawling, etc.

    • @cooksey187
      @cooksey187 Рік тому

      @@MarekDrivesENG I can never do 2 miles on full electric and it also switches off electric and zero emissions mode when I turn the heating on. Going up hill I cannot do on zev or zero emissions as it losses power and it switches to diesel engine. Maybe battery pack is no good, auxiliary belt not tight or maybe the 12v battery is low in charge. Iv only h. Had it about 1 month and am disappointed.

    • @MarekDrivesENG
      @MarekDrivesENG  Рік тому +1

      Let's start with the basics. In a "regular" hybrid the objective is not to cover long distance on electricity alone. The electric motor is there mainly to assist. In some instances it will take over, but that may be for a couple of hundred meters. Don't forget that battery needs to be recharged, and the more it can be recharged by energy regen from braking and coasting, the more efficient the car is. When the battery is drained by driving too much in electric mode, the car will have to use the petrol/diesel engine to recharge it, thus unnecessarily increasing fuel consumption. So maybe the car was fine, but your expectations were too high.

    • @RealWorldCarReviews
      @RealWorldCarReviews Рік тому

      @@MarekDrivesENG Nope. Another wrong point Marek. I have 2013 model (it’s 2022 now) with 114,000 miles on it, and I can get almost 2 miles on full electricity without issue on ZEV mode. Even in auto mode it will still easily cover a mile. And also, the engine doesn’t have to work harder to charge the battery up when it’s low. It simply does not work that way. It uses no more power than it would normally, and the regen is also very heavy too and adds a lot back, even on a slight downhill angle.

    BTW, the start button on the left hand side is a hint to the past, no it's not a Land Rover Defender, it's a Peugeot and Peugeots used to have the ignition keyhole on the left hand side of the steering wheel, do your reaserch.

    • @MarekDrives

    I’m sorry, but I’ve got to add yet another comment here. You say the suspension makes people feel ill on bumpy sections. That’s complete nonsense. I did a 700 mile trip in mine, and both me and two other adults feel car/travel sick easily. Not one of us felt ill on the journey, even on winding and hill roads and bumpy roads. In fact, everyone said how good the ride was. Dude. In this short review I picked up on 2 major points that you got totally wrong; The mpg and the ride, and another in the comments about it only doing a few hundred metres in EV mode. If you’re going to do a car review, do it properly and test it thoroughly. If it’s not correct and people are correcting you on it so much, you should delete the video as you’re not providing a good and thorough review for your viewers. Even seasoned car reviewers I know have done that when they realise they’ve been wrong.

    • @MarekDrivesENG
      @MarekDrivesENG  Рік тому

      Did you drive an early 2012 model? I imagine PSA may have updated the suspension setup, and the drivetrain several times since the early models were released. Also, if that was an early 2012 model, by now its suspension may have settled somewhat if not properly maintained, etc.
      Anyway, I'm happy you're pleased with the car. What I think about it is irrelevant. BTW, I really liked it.

    • @RealWorldCarReviews
      @RealWorldCarReviews Рік тому

      @@MarekDrivesENG Mine is a 2013 model. The suspension won’t settle. If anything it should be better on a brand new car. I also drove the original when I was a motoring writer. I didn’t find anything wrong with the suspension. You say what you think about it is ‘irrelevant’, but it’s not, because you’re putting this incorrect information out there for people to use when deciding to buy a car. That’s the whole point of a car review. You did the same with your V60 D6 PHEV review too. It’s your job to get things correct when reviewing, and if they aren’t, you should re-edit the video so people who rely on review for their car purchase can make the right (and properly informed) choice.

    Completely and utterly wrong on the mpg. I own one. Normal motorway driving (65 - 70mph) will give you 60+ mpg. I just did 700 mile trip with 4 adults and a boot jammed to the roof with gear, and still got just over 50mpg. I can even get over 50mpg pulling a light trailer with a 130kg motorbike on it too.
