The fact that Guy Ritchie has been consistently making decent movies every year is really awesome. Keep in mind that he has a movie that's now in post production for next year's release

@@M_k-zi3tnthey’re not all great tho and a lot are largely very similar and forgettable. Like he did a string of Jason statham movies straight to streaming which have faded from memory. The covenant was decent tho. Wish he sticks with the larger ensemble movies every few years tho - stuff like this and the gentleman. Just marginally higher quality theatre releases that people talk about it

The Covenant was an awesome war drama though, with amazing performances by Jake Gyllenhaal and specially Dar Salim as the Afghan interpreter.

The fans see him as either Eisenhorn, one of the Primarchs or Custodes (Valdor, of course). Really depends on the era of his show. If it is Horus Heresy, maybe we see him as one of the Primarchs, maybe even Big E himself. Who knows. But from all I've seen, he won't be a "simple" Space Marine.

Seems like your reverse-psychology worked, the video's under 5 minutes. Now say you're doing a documentary-length review and upload a UA-cam short.

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but this was guy's worst movie, it wasted the unbelievable cast of had, not only that but it felt it wasn't even him directing it. The movie was so boring I couldn't believe it, man am I disappointed or what.

Sir Christopher Lee was an operative for the Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare also called the SES, and was the cousin of Ian Flemming and the true inspiration for James Bond.

Hard to not make the comparison to Tarantino's WW2 inspired film but as a Guy Richie film this should be a pretty fun time. Always stylistic, and action packed his films are a blast. That Arnold impression was epic.

I didn’t like them cutting away from the Henry cavil crew in the middle of an action/planning scene to go to the boring spies. The c tier spy subplot should have been cut entirely.

I love that freaking Christopher Lee was legitimately a member of Churchill's Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Dude was a legend. Nearly married into royalty, played heavy metal, oh and you know... killed Nazis and inspired James Bond.

Inglorious Basterds is one of my all time favorites… that being said, a “dollar store” action version sounds awesome to me. However, if it was dollar store version of the dramatic side of Basterds, that’s where you might lose me.

I don’t think it’s just a ”you” thing having trouble with the run time with a lot of movies that comes out today. I feel like that about almost all new movies. Well, well, hope this trend dies out soon. Thanks for yet another great review, it’s always fun hearing your thoughts surrounding new movies.

Most boring movie of the year. At no point was the team challenged at all. Every mission was "we need to do this". And they casually did exactly that with little to no resistance. Even when the chick was taken by the bad guy and he goes "shackle her up". I heard a lady in the audience say "oh she's in trouble now". And ...nope, no shackles, she's in the back of a car 2 minutes later with a gun strapped to her thigh that somehow these soldiers forgot to check for. At no point did i feel like anybody on the team was in any danger whatsoever, no tension, no nothing. A movie like this needs at least one sequence where everything goes to hell. The closest it came was
"the boat is armored, we can't sink it"
    "Ok, let's steal it"
    Problem solved
