@@22RiaKon22 yeah! I mean he is super greedy for food . We took him to his granny's house and he was literally tailing her for all those days we stayed there - because she used to overfeed him with treats.....

My beagle is now 15 weeks old and she always wants to attack the vacuum cleaner 😂 she follows it all around the house and barks at it. I just love her playful nature 💜
Guess I had an extraordinary beagle - she wasn’t scared of fireworks, thunder, the hairdryer, vet visits, being alone, or car rides. She wasn’t scared of the vacuum but did prefer to walk into another room when on - I think it annoyed her. Loved everybody, other dogs, and cats. She even loved baths!

@@ivanvincent770 I think maybe the video is basing judgement on the preponderance of illegitimately bred Beagles and mixes. A well-bred and raised Beagle is not nervous or skittish, rather he/she is easy-going, brave, fearless, and hard to rile.
I have a beagle too. I think He is way to smart and plays dumb so that he doesn't have to pay anything.
My beagle wasn't scared by fireworks and thunder, but a few years ago at new years, my neighbor launched so many fireworks, my dog got so scared till it peed itself, so lil pup got traumatized till this day

My beagle wasn't scared of fireworks, he tried to chase a rocket up the garden once, as he got older he would just sleep through them & he used to let me hoover him too, he passed away in June 2020, miss him so much, Beagles are the best dogs ever ❤❤❤

My beagle loves car rides, sometimes he even sits on the driver's seat and puts his paws 🐾 on the steering and trys to drive it😂😂😂,he is really trying to escape with our car😂😂😂

YES, My Beagle lady does that too, when filling up at the petrol station for instance, she jumps from the boot, between the seats (steps on the buttons there and the screen from the navigation come up, which need to be licked offcourse) and she sits herself in the driver seat.
She does that as well when someone is still sitting in the passenger seat next to the drivers seat. Much to the amusement and surprise.
my beagle pup is 4 months old and he ALWAYS sits on my lap when i’m driving and sometimes he tries putting his paws on the wheel and ends up honking the horn.. 😳

My beagle loves car rides! He used to throw up every single time he got in the car, even if it's just to the pet store, but after we started driving to hiking places and hiked with him almost everyday, we were able to take him on hour long car rides which is a huge improvement :))

No joke, my beagle was scared of the dark as a pup... he would go outside to do his business perfectly during the day but during the night it was a big no. One of the first times he actually did go out at night to poop he ran back in howling in fear with poop still on his bum 😭 thankfully he grew out of it
My beagle pup barked herself crazy at the Christmas tree this year. She finally got used to it after a few days though.

I've had 4 beagles, not one was scared of lighting, car rides, vacuums or hair dyers, never did the fireworks thing, think that may be an issue, cute as hell, and they love to sleep in bed with you!

My beagle is scared of weird things. She is okay with thunder or fireworks, but she is scared of things like umbrellas or ladders. If she sees a ladder then she goes inside the house and barks for 20 minute 🤣 it is hard to calm her down when she sees one. But also she is scared of horses (the first time she saw one, she peed herself), now she barks at them, but she is only tough if she is inside the yard, outside on leash she is a scared baby.

I think over time my Beagle is fine with all these things, apart from being alone especially since my other one passed away I could always leave them both alone in the kitchen if I went out and they would be fine, now she constantly barks and gets worked up.

Frank the Wonder Beagle loves the vet. He also loves fireworks. However the first time Frank heard a local band play Pink Cadillac, well he went nuts lol.

My beagle too, is not afraid of fireworks at all. I have even take him for a walk, when the fireworks was the worse.
@Leo the new beagle king Yes, she died of an old age more than a year ago. I would love to have another pup (in truth I NEED one), but it's not the right time now - would be home alone for too much time, poor thing. Hopefully, it will get better in few months :)

My beagle loves riding in the car. She loves voing to Vets because they give great treats. Kelli is our third dog. She and the beagle before her were rescues. Our first Beagle we bought as a puppy. He never peed or pooped in the house. His name was Chazy. He lived to be 13 1/2. He died of congested heart. Maggie Mae our rescue, came to us when she was 3-4 years old. She was scared for awhile. The vet said she was stoic, a small sweet, gentle and loving beagle girl. She went blind when she was 8 years old. She handled it very well. About age 10-11 she was diagnosed with cancer. She was having issues and we had to put her down. We were with both Chazy and Maggie when they wenti Heaven. Kelli was rescued when she was five a fiesty beagle. She just turned 12 and seems to be in good health. I tell her she has to live another 3-4 years. I am 77 now and don't know if I could take a new beagle for the long walks that they live. All of ou beagles were pure bred beagles. They were always so good around my grandchildren when when they . The granchildren were growing. BEAGLES RULE. Love this channel

Loves the Vet, Likes to Drive in the Car, Came out to the Balcony on NYE and can stay alone for a certain ammount of time :-) but yeah he hated the Vacuum and the Hairdryer ^^
My beagle loves the hoover, I have to hoover him every time I get it out. He also enjoys the vets, loves the hairdryer too. He hates fireworks and refuses to go outside. Not had thunder yet!! Am guessing he'd hate it 🐶

I used to think my beagle wasn't scared of anything. I thought it was weird, so I checked her heart when I thought something should be scary to her - turns out she was terrified, but stood still and quiet rather than bark or pace. I started doing things like covering her ears when there were fireworks so she knew I can make it better and playing with her and the vacuum cleaner so she knows it's not scary, and now she expresses her fear with little jumps or by looking at me nervously to help her manage it.

Both of mine are fine with fireworks & thunder but I also exposed them to it when they were young & had them in my lap to comfort them
My beagle is scared from almost all of the things you mentioned in the video 👍 But there is one exception that my beagle loves to go to the vet😅. The vet treats him very nicely that's the reason ◖⚆ᴥ⚆◗😀 Btw thx for the videos👍

Mine too 😅 she used to walk around me playfully when i vacuuming and tried to grab the hose with her paws 🤣 I already trained her to not do it anymore by standing still, so she's only laying down and watching me vacuuming now.
My beagle, I think, has ocd. She barks at inanimate objects that are in places they aren’t usually, like a neck pillow left on a chair. She also got scared of the twinkle Christmas lights.
That’s not unusual! Mine would bark, too, if something had fallen on the floor, like a hair elastic or utensil, or was unusually out of place. I don’t think it’s necessarily fear when they bark, sometimes they’re just saying, “hey, look! Did you hear me, I said hey look! Look! Look!”
Yep, pretty much all the above affected my beagle except hair dryer. I'm bald. Thunder was kryptonite for him. He'd see a flash of light at night, hop off the bed right to the door to leave. He knew thunder was coming. I learned I had to hold him in bed and rub his chest to keep him calm. He would drool in the car when my partner drove his car (he hates his driving). He's always calm when I drive. My car had a hammock in the back seat and he was always curled up and relaxed. For the most part like your kids you figure things out.

Hair dryer ! It happens right yesterday. We hve one male beagle pup. & After taking birth we try to dry him but he's so scared. Running, jumping here & there. Thanks for sharing that last part. I will make him comfortable very soon.
My half beagle pup is scared of:
Nail clipping (so it hasn't happened since she was a puppy pretty much)(motorized nail clippers too)
Meeting new people (she freaked out when my friend visited she got more comfortable when she was given food by said friend, but still freaked the next time the friend came over)
Strangers in general (she wants to smell them but not let them touch her)
Other dogs (I didn't get to socialize her properly I got her right as Covid started)
Eating outside of home in public (she will eat in the car)
Being alone for sure

My family's beagle (Frankie, a girl) isn't afraid nether thunder or fireworks. She thinks of them both as if there is a war going on outside and just ignores it, but only gets afraid when our family goes outside

My beagles don’t seem to be afraid of anything. Last weekend went fishing and Rosco swam across the river that took him downstream 50 yds before making it to the other side, and that was nothing compared to what he did when he made it over. Fearlessness seems to be trait both of them have

My beagles hated fireworks, then we moved to Boston. They shot them off for every excuse for a holiday. They did not mind thunder until they were a bit older and I lived in Orlando, I'm not convinced they didn't get a mild shock at some point. They'd run off to the deepest depth of the master walk in closet. They'd start shivering before I could even hear it. We lived close enough to Disney to see and mildly hear 2 or 3 nightly fireworks shows. They did not like the the vacuum but it wasn't that big a deal, just up on the couch. Cars were not a big deal as I had several long distance transfers fo they spent much more time in the car just moving or visiting family.
Some odd things my beagle was afraid of: Wheelbarrows (the community was having new pine mulch spread around the bushes. Beagle was not amused, and didn't want to go anywhere near the landscapers' wheelbarrows.). Motorcycle tarp blowing in the breeze (even without the wind, took her a week to get used to that neighbor's tarp). Musket fire (museum a few blocks away had a "living history" exhibit one year. Since they didn't rerun that event, I assume they had a lot of complaints.)

I'm a vet student and I plan on getting a beagle later in life, sometimes I think how my pets will react to "vet visit" when it's like I come home and "surprise max, I bought a vaccine for you"

I am lucky then, Bazel only is afraid of the Thunder and Fireworks, He loves the vet, loves the car, but does have the separation anxiety, which by now formed to him barking for a few minutes when I leave then calming down.

@@gbir7721 I travelled with my dog for 5 hours and before I let him sit in the car, I give him a medicine ( am sorry I don't remember the name but I have it so I'll check it and tell you later you can find it in local chemists) he slept ( or was unconscious idk) for the whole time. I do prefer that medicine.

My beagle is EXTREMELY observant. She looks all over in a room, and if ANYTHING extra is in the room? She starts barking at it. You name it, balloon, egg, toy, picture, ANYTHING!

Our beagle gets scared when the central air turns on. The unit is outside next to one of the livingroom windows. We have only been using the air for the past 2 weeks, and we have only had the signal for 4 mos. So, hopefully, he will adapt soon!
My Beagles only seem to suffer from the fear of abandonment. They can be good for an hour or two if I'm gone, but are highly agitated when I get home from longer absences. They love their vet, but she also has a wonderful way about how she greets the animals she treats. Thunder and fireworks get their attention, but other than coming closer to me, they don't react that badly.
I have a beagle hound mix and she has a lot of these traits, but she has a crush on a vet tech so vet visits are better. She’s learned riding in my car means adventure with her tech crush.
My beagle used to love to get vacuumed. Just the hose part. She would lay there for as long as I was willing to vacuum her.

My beagles only like car rides when they get to sit in the front seat/in the drivers and passengers seats, and every time we go on a long drive one of them has the realization that *gasp* there are other people in other cars! And they both start howling like crazy

Ear medicine
Nail clipping
Lawn mowers
Skateboards
Any spicy food

If I go outside and turn right towards the hose, my beagle will make a mad dash to the door. He despises it.
I just drive my beagle around so he can smell the air. We made a happy hoodie for his ears which bother him when we go too fast. I'm working on finding him some nice AFFORDABLE doggie goggles. The thing about just visiting the vet though, that's a good idea.

All these things you mentions are common in all dogs! And as far as going to the vet I must be part beagle too! For I do not like doctors visits whatsoever 😡 My beagle does not like collars even though she wears one all the time if it falls off and I try to put it back on her you would think it was the end of the world, she also doesn't like leads! Car rides are almost an impossibility, although my other two dogs thinks that it is heaven! She sees this and thinks she wants to go until she gets inside the truck, and you guessed it she upchucks before we get home, although . I love this little girl to pieces she is a real sweetheart ❤️👍
I have a Beagle/Bulldog mix. This dog will bark at anything we bring into the house that doesn't belong. We bring down bins of decorations, he barks at it, we bring home a new plant, he barks at it, we have a pond with bullfrogs, the frogs croak and he barks at them. He'll bark at all these things, but never at another dog.

mostly true... while our hair dryers don’t bother him, his hair dryer does... very loud and powerful blow force, but he’s gotten better with it, especially as we give him treats while drying him off after his bath.
Fireworks make it difficult to take him for walks to relieve himself.. folks randomly shoot them in our neighborhood
My dog is also likely to get nauseous in the car... even going to the dog park.. sometimes we’ll give him a calming agent... but the second he gets into a car, he starts salivating profusely
The vacuum cleaner he will often playfully attack. We thought about getting a Roomba, but he could very well flip it over
Altogether though, he’s pretty hyper, dropping anything on the floor or moving a large object suddenly spooks him.. oddly cardboard boxes scare him because we move them around alot when cutting them for recycling
Different beagles respond to things differently. Frank loves to ride in cars and likes fireworks. Vet appointments are fun for him too! What he can't stand (other than being left alone) is loud music. 1st time Frank ever heard a cover band play Springsteen's Pink Cadillac drove him nutso. Must admit however, the cover band did a horrible job of the song, so I was horrified too!

Funny thing about the sweepers is my beagle wasn’t scared of the sweeper until he managed to somehow snag his harness on the sweeper and he drug it along behind him so it was literally attacking him and now he attacks it if he sees it sitting out, he actually shredded one at my moms house

Our beagle is scared of the strangest things. Example: Bell peppers, Empty soda or water bottle. She's weird and we love her.

the only things on this list that seem to bother our lucy at all are the bright flashes of actually SEEING fireworks, and I assume the alone time. when we don't put her in her kennel when we have to leave her she can be very desteuctive.
thunder, and the noise of fireworks doesnt seem to do any more than pique her curiosity. she loves the car, and trips to the vet mean other people, and animals, and SMELLS!
