This is a great video! What I do to grind cells is play the game normal but having all the items be legendary and be on 5bc. Hey, great question! IMO there are a few different ways to play brutality: ranged (throwing knives, firebrands, infantry bow), fast melee (balanced blade, blood sword, swift sword), and slow melee (flint, giantkiller, flawless). Those are just a few items from each style but depending on what you're doing my advice would change a bit. If you're playing fast melee I recommend things like Open Wounds, Melee, and Combo for Mutations since those benefit from lots of fast attacks. Slow melee I'd say Predator and Initiative would be good choices since enemies usually die in 1-2 hits with those weapons. If you're using skills like fire/powerful grenade or knife dance for skills Killer Instinct might be a good mutation choice, too. If you're using ranged brutality items things like Point Blank, Support (if you have a turret), and Tranquility will help get your damage up even though they're tactics mutations. Other good mutations that might help you survive are Disengagement, Gastronomy for the extra healing from food, and Vengeance for the times when you get hit. I do think it depends on the build you're using but if you're having trouble I would recommend finding a couple of items that feel good and then replacing those with higher quality ones later in the run, like if you have Fire Grenade III buying a Fire Grenade VIII later in the run so your build feels stable. Also, make sure you pump the forge! :D
I thought I'd give you an update I'm on 4 bc now and your build really helped I have also started to try tactics builds and survival builds so thank you for allowing me to finally learn that I don't have to just play brutality
That could be true. I'm not sure what version mobile is on right now since another team is working on those patches, but if it's not on mobile now it will be in the future.
BC means boss cells. When you beat the game on the default difficulty you'll get your first boss cell, which lets you increase the difficulty to the next level (1BC, since you have 1 boss cell active). When you beat 1BC you'll get another so can increase to 2BC, all the way up to 5. More info here! deadcells.wiki.gg/wiki/Boss_Stem_Cells

I always seem to have a hard time finding weapons that synergize... I have the shop upgrades for re rolling and selecting the color. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your response being kind and inviting seems to me to be a great way to grow your community. Theese are good videos I've seen so far and I appreciate you
@@zackwilson6761 of course, happy to help! It sounds like you have the right shop blueprints for Reroll and Merchandise Categories, which is a step in the right direction. Something that might be helpful is to try to get status synergy on your weapons. An example of this is if you have the Throwing Knives (which inflicts the bleed status) and another item that has the "+60% bonus to bleeding" affix. You'll get more damage if you use the Throwing Knives to make something bleed and then hit it with the weapon that has the damage bonus. This is just one example, but it's a good idea to keep an eye out on those colors and symbols in the item descriptions so you can see if you can get extra damage with your build. You can reroll affixes between levels at the little guy after the Collector, so if you have something in mind you might be able to reroll an item to get that damage bonus. Synergy is a good way of bumping up damage. Like @Slugcat-with-a-GUN said, the training room is really good for practicing bosses (or regular enemies!). You can mess with weapons and synergy there, too, so it might be worth testing out some of what you have unlocked in the training room to see what fits.
Totally, that's what I'm saying here. If you finish any of the trials you'll get a ton of cells, but I think the first door is the best one since it's the fastest.
Assists are fine. I am a masochistic scumbag who enjoys torturing himself. You are an exhausted blue collar worker who just got home from your 19 hour shift. What we need to unwind will be very, very different, and that's why assist mode exists. I just wish you could make the game harder with assists, but that's just me.
There are some options in custom mode that make the game harder - higher curse, malaise constantly ticking, Sepulcher darkness in every level, etc. You should check them out!
Yup, if you have PC you can use a mod to get all the cells you need. I don't recommend this for unlocking all the items since that's part of the fun but it's an easy way to fill the forge up and save a lot of time.

Yes!
@@DisappointedGiant After defeating The Hand of the King, Did we will send back to prisoners quarters?
@@YTSMOKY Yes. Whenever you beat the game it brings you back to the beginning.
@@DisappointedGiant do you have any tricks to beat the hand of the king for the first time? I'm playing on normal difficulty and it's so hard, I'm not sure that I can beat him with Boss Stem Cells activated
@@YTSMOKY I usually recommend this video for people learning Hand of the King: ua-cam.com/video/jANPHaF_8I8/v-deo.html
Vee does a great job breaking everything down here. Also, HOTK is in the training room too, so once you reach him you can practice his patterns in the training room. Good luck!
So, Imagine I'm on 2BC and have the forge locked but maxed at 2500 cells and I just been close to beat hand of the king one time
5:28 how do you have this Giant?
That's the modified version of Giant, he's crazy. You can fight it in either the second or fourth door in Boss rush.
I wish I was good at this game. I probably have like 40 hours and only completed 1 run. I just can't seem to be 2bc
It can be tough to get into the groove but if you stick with it I hope you can get some more clears. I have tutorial videos for both 0bc and 1bc if you're interested in checking them out; I'll link them below. Good luck and let me know if I can do anything to help you get some more wins!

Use the training room for all bosses it made them easier for me
I always seem to have a hard time finding weapons that synergize...
You can mess with weapons and synergy there, too, so it might be worth testing out some of what you have unlocked in the training room to see what fits.
rip darrell ❤ im sure he lived a long fulfilling life :] he was alive longer than me after all
hope youre doing well and darrell rests well ❤❤
Thank you so much for saying this. I really appreciate it
Ok correct but you forget one thing is boss rush finishing it will give a lot of cells
Totally, that's what I'm saying here. If you finish any of the trials you'll get a ton of cells, but I think the first door is the best one since it's the fastest.
When i kill the hand of the king he don't give me the first bc why??
Do you have an Aspect enabled? Having one of those will prevent Boss Cells from dropping.

Cheat engine also works
Yup, if you have PC you can use a mod to get all the cells you need. I don't recommend this for unlocking all the items since that's part of the fun but it's an easy way to fill the forge up and save a lot of time.
i chose to have a life.. and cheated with cheat engine😑
