I know foresight will be nerf right away after i see the shield effect. It was way too good. Also highest hit of the run : 1029921 dmg on Spoiler last phase.
Funny thing is, if ya hold 2 Legendary Cursed Sword, it'll lock the other Curse Sword, but if ya put Legendary Cursed Sword in a backpack where ya have another Cursed Sword, it'll somehow let ya use other item like normal I think everyone know this already but it's a fun bug to abuse
I was expecting the 3 hit attack on hand of the king to be particularly difficult without parrying, as I always found the dodge jump dodge difficult, but dude just ran him down in two seconds
Vee idk if you know or not but you can actually stack double ice armors. Furthermore, if you happen to have three, four, five, however many legendary ice armors. You can equip it, activate it and then drop it and sell it and KEEP the armor effect.
@devanshpatil5932 Honestly double legendary ice armor is so unlikely and stupid that they probably don't care. Hopefully, too, cause it's always fun to completely bust the game like this. Wished Motion Twin/Evil Empire had more of a "come, break our game!" mentality like Hopoo Games, the Risk of Rain devs. I mean I get that it's supposed to be hard, but in rare moments like this, I'd allow it.
Recently beat 4bc and was using predator + amulet with 5 sec invisibility when not attacking. Doing the cursed sword run half way through was challenging lol 😅
Omg I didn’t think I would be able to pull this up, but I played with this build and actually beat the game (I’ve beaten it before) and it was surprisingly good, I went first to promenade of the condemned, then headed to the prison depths, then I did ossuary, black bridge, silt village, clock tower ( I wanted to go forgotten sepulcher because after that I could go giant cause for me it’s easier than time keeper, but I lost the key :( ) then I did clock room, after that high peak castle, Hotk, and spoiler boss… it was great, I already had the no hit spoiler boss but it was really fun to play.
If you run 3 legendary cursed sword, you can use equipment. You can just drop the third one if you want to use a different item in your backpack for one of the mutations or for utility
You can also cheese it, like properly cheese it by basically smuggling it with the backpack, but I get it if you don't want to do that. This video is probably the easiest way you can get the achievement "legit" (Gotta be careful you don't lock out too many things in custom mode), except maybe double legendary ice armors, since apparently those stack.
If you're running Brutality it's absolutely essential for biomes. Just make sure to change it out for something when you're about to fight a boss, as it's useless there.
I dont know if it got patched but last time I checked you could Actually unlock the Cursed Sword Achievement with the Aspect equipped that will make curses not kill you anymore.
You can also get the achievement by using a different build, taking the cursed sword into the final boss room in your pocket, drop the sword before the fight (after the cut-scene), then pick the sword back up before leaving through the fountain.
Definitely makes a Cursed run a hell of a lot more achievable. Any way this build can be easily acquired without having to eliminate a ton of equipment in Custom Mode and thus disabling achievements?
You can theoretically get Ice Armor if you disable all green skills except for Ice Armor (not sure about this) you can also disable all power type skills except for diverse deck and ice armor, but enable all other skills (Deployables and Grenades) and turn on old shop categories.

@@travistotle still have a bit of leeway You could actually just disable every skill, melee and shield except for Ice Armor, Force Shield, Diverse Deck, and Cursed Sword, then turn on all ranged weapons and still fall above the 20 weapon limit for achievements
Hey I just done a normal run and got this busted seed. Try using the seed 694135, go survival and this route Toxic sewer-> Prison-> Rampart (toxic and rampart each have a challenge rift)
@@someone.007 you have to go to rampart and beat the elite at the gate. Then you'll unlock the custom mode. In custom mode, choose Advanced Options, scrool down a bit and you'll see the fixed seed.
What a build the achievement for the sword seems really dooable now Also that confidence: Will it protect me from a spike? Will it protect me from a spiky boy hit in the back xD
If I were to pick between ice armor and the cards, in which case would I go with the ice armor? I feel like the cards right now are extremely busted as I don't see a situation where you see it and don't pick it up. Ice armor should be more viable than it.

ngl i beat my first cursed sword run using this build. I didn't even intend to go for it I just found a legendary Ice Armor and the Deck from the Bank. A mimic also dropped a level 14-S cursed sword it was insane.

hey Vee i recently did a similar run where i used phaser instead of cards but i opted for No Mercy instead of instinct. Can you explain your reasoning behind using instinct? Legendary sword or not, you should not be using your skills often. Get hit = wait out ice armor time then re engage. I dont understand the logic behind the mutation choice as to me it seems like there is no benefit from a cooldown reduction in any way

this is just my opinion, but if you are fully committing to cursed sword, isn't stacking scrolls into two colors better because you basically always have 1 hp and very very slightly better damage for your sheilds is just more useful?
Technically, yeah, but if you're fully committing to cursed sword by getting a legendary, you're not gonna use a shield anyway. And even if it's not legendary, the shield is not the main damage dealer. Like, at all. So you might as well save yourself the right-swipe when getting Tactics/Survival scrolls.
I’m the backpack, wouldn’t it be better to have a normal cursed sword instead of a shield. Just in case the ice armor goes off and you are in a boss, yo I can still fight it with your skills unlocked, but with less damage

Made a post in r/deadcells to discover what "xoldia" or "zoldia" means. When that graphic pops up and you mention left leg, right leg, etc. I am confused and do not know what you mean. Is there a way to create a cursed sword build without legendary items included. All of the content you create is with legendary items and not all of us are kickflipping like it is easy. I am still on ollie off of stuff.
man i hate this game. in my most successful run ever (which was a moment ago) i used the crowned key and went through the shipwreck. up to lighthouse, i had not used three health potions in total. in lighthouse, i had to use all three and still got clapped. what in the hell. i just wanted to finish the game.
Just died to the giant with this build, and I wasn't even cursed or using the sword, had disengagement and burned through every heal pot 👍 Tbh he's pretty hard to hit with the whip's crit spot, so the fight on 4BC took forever for me

If you freeze concierge using the ice armor it’ll stop his aura. Was doing this yesterday to flawless him a couple times

Are skins are visual. Some have new audio too or change the fonts for damage you deal.

It is moreso for a boss where I wanted to get ice armor back ASAP. Also, I can't stall in the biome too much or I get impatient 💀

the launch an arrow affix does not add to barbed tips, even for ranged weapons
