Much better. I still think DJI is missing free advertising by not having the key word be “Hey Neo”. Anyone in the area will google “hey fly” and then never find the link to the drone. “Hey Neo” won’t get you there, but they could pay for it to do so and it would make more sense. I don’t think accents should be an issue. This is sort of a world wide product isn’t it? Then they have to assume lots of people with accents will use it. They’d need to consider different words with the same meaning too… for instance, in the states most of us don’t say “further”. We say “farther”. It shouldn’t trip either way. Glad they made a fix so fast though.
Yeh - I had to swap between further and farther (even thought of cutting in a clip from Empire Strikes Back, but yeh I had to go to work and only had limited time! 😂) The Neo only recognises Mandarin and English, so I think it's fairly limited right now and the voice recognition is rudimentary but getting better. Personally think it's too close to the Neo and Mini 4K launch + I think the Air 3s/4 is closer to production than the Mini 5 Pro given the leaks that we saw a couple of months ago. I found that pressing the buttons was easier than the voice commands but the ability to add the distance makes it worthwhile... having said that, I would prefer the ability to select the distance in the fly screen instead of the settings. Maybe add that feature to the preselected buttons too? e.g. select Rocket then during countdown pressing the button again cycles through the distances and CANCEL... i.e 2m, 4m, 6m, 10m, 20m, cancel. I would also like the ability to do a half or quarter circle maybe with a degrees and distance option: Circle 10m 180º

I didn't say it, but the accent thing occurred to me, but I am a Southern American and haven't had issues so I suspect you wouldn't either. I am waiting for the Neo 2 and 3 and hope they come quickly once the Neo maximizes it's profits.
@@vonheise I suspect there may be a couple more firmware updates and also update to DJI Fly to allow for sharpness etc to be adjusted for the auto modes. But yes - weirdly I’m already looking forward to the next iteration. I suspect they’re waiting to see how this one goes over the holiday period. 🖖

Yep - although I did explain why - in the first video I got nowhere with saying 'Hey Fly!' so had to resort to using the button. But yeh - in the second it's just a case of getting the timing right - it's not quite 'natural' language yet, but I could tell that they've definitely improved it! Thanks for you comment!🖖

I'm really liking the features of the cheapest bundle especially the working voice commands, but the video quality is really really bad. I'll hold off on buying to see if the quality improves with firmware updates.
Yeh - it's not exactly 'buttery smooth' is it! 🤣 and It may get a little better, but is suspect it's somewhat limited by the hardware. I have some ND filters coming soon, so it would be good to see if that improves things a bit. Thanks for watching!🖖

I have a drone..haven't used it for over 2 years..mavic air 2..is this less hassle & more fun? Will the neo be quieter without propeller guards & would neo be able to carry an action camera
All good questions! Air 2 is a solid drone and in a different class to the Neo. Not sure about the sound with the prop guards off - cant see there being a significant difference though. (Ian in London has just released a vid on the sound although I haven't had a chance to watch it yet). As for the action camera - I think that would really affect stability - the Neo has a good try at higher winds, but it's not great so I think it would struggle to cope IMHO. Thanks for watching!🖖
