Thanks Danita - yeh seems like it had a mind of its own when it comes to those photos, but I would say that’s probably ‘operator error’ as opposed to an issue with the drone or controller 🤣 it was 5c and therefor 41f 🖖

Hmmm..... I think it would be challenging to find a 1g strobe which is why I took the A2 CofC so that I could fly in the A1 class with a sub 500g max take off weight (£80 course for a £12 strobe 🤣) As a representative and protector of the hobby and trying to 'do things right' I couldn't possibly condone just 'whipping it off',and if you have an accident with it on you could get in deep do-do.... but erm... y'know... if it means you're flying safer in all practical terms then.... ahem.... I didn't say that - you never saw me... I wasn't here... 😉😂 In all seriousness though - worth doing the A2 CofC if not for the extra benefits, then at least for the extra knowledge and credibility as a drone pilot (+ less stress knowing you can fly legitimately with a strobe on!). That’s a good question - in the DJI Fly app open the album on your Neo, click on the batch select icon and then select the clips you want to delete. In the bottom left and corner you should see a bin icon - just click on that. Doing this from memory at the moment as I’m at work, but hope that helps and is correct! 🖖

I’ve not had the opportunity to use the Mini 3, just the Mini 3 pro. But on paper I would say that the flip is ahead based on some of the camera and shooting mode upgrades and the O4 transmission. On the down side, the flip only has forward sensing obstacle avoidance and can’t shoot true 4k vertical video (not an issue for me!). But overall, if you don’t need the Vlogging type modes then I think I would say the Mini 3 just about comes out on top. As you can see from my self contradictory answer - it’s very close between them! 🤣 perhaps consider the Mini 4K?🖖

Hi Jim - So if I can understand you right you’re talking about uploading videos you’ve created on your phone to UA-cam. I would wait for each video to be fully processed before uploading the next one if you want them to be in order. Different file sizes take a different amount of time to fully processed on UA-cams end. So there’s a possibility that a smaller file could process and complete before a larger file has had time to even though it was uploaded afterwards. Not 100% sure if that’s correct, but if your vids aren’t in the order you want them then it’s worth a try… 🖖

Yes, you are correct - the ‘trimmed’ download is kindof like ‘pre-editing’ what you want to include, although I would always advise going a couple of seconds either side of your trim to give you a bit of ‘wiggle room’ in the final edit… all the best! 🖖

I don't know how they calibrate compasses on ships, but yeh - that's why I had to walk about 10ft away from the car to get it to work right.... Taken off from the roof of my car may times before with no issues - only seemed to be an issue that night! 🖖

Aha - right - if you have an iPhone or iPad you can record a voice note, hit 'share' and then scroll until you find the Lightcut app in the same way that you I demonstrated how to import downloaded music. If you have your voice file saved somewhere else on your device, navigate to it in the files app and select it then select 'share' from there to import it into Lightcut. If you're on Android then I imagine it would work in a similar way. Hope that helps! Amok🖖

@joebetmutia9425 not classic waypoints with either of the controllers although hyperlapse waypoints work with both. POIs and selecting yourself work the same with the RC-N3 as it does with the RC-2. Thanks for your question! 🖖

Andy! thanks so much for watching! Yeh It's kindof a 'your mileage may vary' scenario - there's also a max tilt angle setting in the Expo settings of the RC2 that I'm going to have a play with - but with a tail wind - that flip really does shift!. Cheers brother! All the best 🖖

Thanks Colin! Unfortunately colour grading isn’t really my forté - I just tend to fiddle around until things ‘look right’, so I’d probably get a humongous amount of abuse if I did a video on it! It’s a good question and one that I have investigated. Whilst there’s probably some very clever way to do it that some nerd has come up with involving WiFi protocols and bespoke browser windows and stuff, I can get my laptop to ‘see’ my Neo, but can’t get it to connect even using the security key. You’re best off just using the USB-C cable to be honest - less hassle and faster as well! Thanks for asking though! 🖖

@ I don’t really need the Mini 4 Pro since my Air 3 can pretty much do what the Mini 4 does except the vertical camera which doesn’t interest me at all. And I still do pull out Mini 2 occasionally on non windy days. But my Mini batteries are all over 3 years old with many cycles on them so rather than buy new ones it might be better to invest in the Flip. But I probably won’t decide until spring at the earliest.

Ah - and you're in the US - I think the restrictions for the Air 3 are possibly more relaxed for you than for us in the UK... so yeh - that makes sense... All the best! 🖖

I'm not sure what they classify it as. I was surprised that it wasn't equipped with RID as well, because being allowed to fly over people without a waiver would have been awesome! Great video as always!​@amoktimeflies

I think it's classed as 'ultra light recreational' and therefore doesn't require RID, but I need to do more research on that! Have blurred the bit with the FAA classification in the vid for now anyway to avoid confusion - Thanks again for the heads up Kyle! 👍👍👍🖖

@amoktimeflies "ultra light recreational" means it doesn't need to be registered but with no RID it can't be classified as class 1, therfore not allowed to fly over people without an FAA waiver. This is how I understand it, although the FAA loves to make things clear as mud.😂

Hiya - In the mobile app when connected to your drone click on settings at the bottom of the screen, then navigate to Video and in there at the top of the screen. The setting that you currently have in there is probably 1080p or 4k with a little '9:16'. Just select either 4K or 1080p without that symbol. Hope that helps! 🖖

@ Unfortunetally i switched it to 4k and it is still 9:16 in QuickShots :( EDIT: it works but you have to start flying after these setting change to see correct view on the phone screen :)

Very odd! I must test this (I'm not a fan of vertical mode so haven't really used it!), but in the meantime it might be worth getting in touch with DJI support... 🖖

Just went out in the garden and had the same issue - switched to vertical and then it wouldn't switch back for any of the quickshot modes. The workaround is to reset all settings in Settings -> More Settings -> About -> Reset All Settings. Not Ideal as you then have to re-pair the aircraft to your phone (or at least I had to!) but it does fix it. Guessing this will be one of the first fixes in the next update! Thanks for raising this! 🖖

Yeh - I think it’s probably for people that have never owned a drone before. If you’ve already got one you don’t need this, unless upgrading from a Neo, a very old model of DJI Mini or another brand.🖖

@ I’m in the states. According to the DJI Store my M4P never left their warehouse but when I placed the Flip order I received notice via UPS that it left Hong Kong within hours. My guess is they needed all the M4P cameras to make the Flip they could get. Also leads me to think an MP5 is just around the corner.

As far as the camera is concerned it's a Sony A6700 mirrorless APSC camera. I can't affeord Sony Lenses, but my go-to lens is the Viltrox 27mm f1.2 pro. Even though I'm a qualified photographer, that was many MANY years ago during the era of 'wet' photography - I'm still learning this new camera, so wouldn't really feel qualified to do a video on it.
