    I love that their friend sealed their fate by recording what they were doing. Had he not whipped out his phone, none of these guys would have been arrested. The police would have taken the word of the killers.

    That's not an apology. An apology is owning up to your mistake and taking full responsibility.       My point exactly. If you watch the video and the subsequent videos, it's clear they not only knew these guys, they were trying to find a way to cover it up. In the original video the sheriffs that arrived first didn't even try to help Mr. Arbery, even though he was still alive at the point and asking for help. They should be investigated and brought to justice. They should be ashamed of themselves. Just another example of the good ol' boys small town mentality. Cover at all costs. Even someones life. Disgusting.
      And they wonder why no one trusts the police anymore. Half of them are corrupt and lack morals.

He was also a 25 year old that was doing his normal jogging routine when some wannabe vigilantes chased him down, cornering the unarmed jogger into an intersection while pointing a gun at him. Not only did they shoot Arbery, but it was with a shotgun up close to where there was little to no chance he would be able to survive. It was a murder in broad daylight by two racists and a third dude that was nice enough to record his friends doing all of this. And if you want proof that there was racist intent, go look into this story and you'll see why they are being charged with hate crimes.

      Doubtful. We live in a society where right and wrong are subjective. If it weren’t the case then this trial would never have had to take place. It’s subject not only to the jurors, but also to the times and location. Different locations of the US subscribe to different moral codes and the year an incident occurs determines if it were criminal or not. In the 1950s Elvis courted a 14 year old girl and later married here. America worshipped him like a god. Today he’s be a pedophile and would be serving a lengthy prison sentence. Apparently the people of today are far more moral than those primitives of 70 years ago.

    It’s deplorable that they would think they deserved anything different than what they were sentenced to. I will say, the correspondent goofed a little by saying that they were serving time in federal prison just to turn around and say that they are requesting to serve time in federal prison lol. But no, their fear of being treated like animals is recompense for them discarding of a human being like one…#Kharma #JusticeServed

    It is a beautiful thing when justice is served. I hope the fear they feel every minute reminds them of the fear Ahmaud Arbery felt when they sport hunted and brutally murdered him in cold blood. The absolute perfect karmic justice. May they suffer greatly.

      They didn’t just randomly shoot someone in the back. In GA you’re allowed to do a citizens arrest on someone you witness commit a felony crime. So they attempted to stop him and when they did he attacked them then they shot.
