She even asked that they don't receive any kind of money from books, movies, interviews, etc and if they do, it goes to Ahmed family. Roddy lawyer had the nerve to say that would impede him from income to retain a lawyer for the appeal. News flash, court appointed lawyers are free.

Don't forget to thank Greg McMichael. It was his overconfidence that the video would exonerate him that caused him to go to Roddie, get the video and release it to the media. If I could have put one thousand likes on this response I would have. This is one of the most generalized comments I have read. What people need to understand all over the world and in the United States is that Georgia is one of the MOST racist states in the United States, and to get not only a guilty verdict from 11 White jurors, but to also have the case prosecuted the way it was by Ms. Dunkowski and then have all three of the defendants receive life in prison, two without parole and the other life (30 years) is a miracle of JUSTICE BY THE MOST HIGH GOD FOR HIS PEOPLE!!!! @UCURmjPABJ6duZf690UKOSiw Any crimes Arbery committed that day or any other day - had zero to do with the McMichaels. And the McMichaels flat out told the police they had no knowledge of any crimes by Arbery. The McMichaels seem pretty shady to me. If some random person kidnapped and killed Travis - the killer should go free because Travis is a dead beat dad? That's what you are saying. Shoot first and ask questions later. If someone commits a felony crime against you or your family, they can walk without any legal consequences if any of you ever did anything undesirable.
We needed this Prosecutor in the George Zimmerman case (Trayvon Martin murder trial). I have no doubt the outcome would have been different if this Prosecution team and Judge were involved with that case. We need more smart, passionate prosecutors like this one fighting for victims' families and locking up these racist criminals up for life while serving equal justice under the law.

Ms. Donikoski is an excellent attorney. She had me riveted throughout the whole trial. There was a clear contrast between her team and the defense in terms of professionalism and expertise.
This DA. Mrs. Dunikoski is an example of what a thorough attention to detail prosecutor looks like in seeking true justice. Her arguments during sentencing couldn't have been stated any clearer or better in my opinion. She bullet pointed the reasons why they deserved the max sentences. The judge is what we expect a true judge to be like. His demeanor, decorum, and rulings are the blueprint for how real justice in cases like Ahmaud Arbery's ought to happen. Thank God for the people involved in this case and for seeing that justice was ultimately served. Glory and honor and praise to the most high God!!!! Amen!!!
@frozenrpephotography love your comments regarding Mrs Dunikoski; what I say next is not at all to diminish her skill but to give an evaluation of US! THESE 3 MANIACAL MORONS gave themselves up. They were so pregnant with hubris & malice that they hid nothing. Along with this, our confidence in our court system here in 2022 (not 1930, 40, 50, etc) in America is so poor that in a case of murder as clinical/clear as this one, we have Americans guessing whether the McMichael would get off and praising the jury for doing their job (in this particular case where there were not alot of complicated moving parts). AND THHE MCMICHEALS ALMOST GOT OFF. Look at how the community & the police dept. Convened with them after the murder. WE ARE A sick country.
She is one of the top prosecutors in the state 17 years of Murder Trials she had progressed to appeal work 5 years ago she was brought back to the trial court just for this case. Very good at speaking and articulating not many attorney's are that good in a court room.
A tale of two prosecuters. This smart, thorough, precise, passionate woman and the the DA who didn't even prosecute cus one of the murderers was an ex cop.
Reading some of these comments reminds me of something my father told me “ Accountability feels like persecution to those who have never faced Accountability.
You Got-em Ms. Prosecutor, the worst of the worse... God bless the judge for taking exception and giving Ahmaud a moment of silence. To God be the glory and praise.....
These guys knew what they were doing, and I’m pretty sure this wasn’t their first rodeo. Some people are saying “why didn’t they shoot him right away while he was running, if that’s what they were planning all along?” Well, because then they would’ve wasted a prime opportunity (in their minds) to catch, submit and lynch a defenseless black man. They got mad because he didn’t stop and made it easy for them. They sure weren’t gonna let him get away. These guys are murderers and they deserve to rot in prison.
You're out of your mind. They only shot him when he reached for their gun during the struggle. There is zero evidence that they planned on killing him until that happened.
You can imagine a conversation over many drinks and they're like "That's it, I've had it with em, Billy-Bob and Danny-Frank. NEXT TIME..." "Yerrr paww! Next time we gon' git one of em!" and so when the opportunity came up they were all ready mentally to spring into action
@@GlennDavey Exactly, then the “yeeee-hawwww’s” and all those lynching sounds began. They were ready for him. I’m sure they celebrated “ole southern hick” style in that boat trip after the killing.
What really makes Roddy even dumber than he looks is that months later after the murder, he released his video. One that no one else had. Thanks to this convicted dumb criminal he put all three of them in jail. If that video had not been released, none of them would have gone to Trial. What’s going to be funny while they’ve moved to the Big House with Lifers just like them, I just wonder how Travis McMichael’s will feel about the raccoons. Remember he and his best friend Zack, who was a witness, defined a raccoon as a black man with gold teeth who smokes NewPorts. Angers me every time I think of how funny Zach thought his racist statement was. Now he who makes an uncared for hog look beautiful gets to spend the rest of his life with raccoons. Need to be careful what you say, how you think and remember that we are all human beings who should care for all human beings. I don’t feel badly for none of them. They witnessed nothing first hand to even make a citizens arrest. English certainly did not know any of them or ask him to do anything for him and they were trespassing on his property without permission looking for AHMAUD. Well, they all have plenty of time to think about how they’ve ruined their entire lives in 5 minutes.
She destroyed Greg McMichael and HE deserved every bit of it. As EVIL as Travis was, Greg is the Real Evil villain, it's sad, but also PERFECT KARMA that Travis will eventually come to realize that his father failed him. As for Roddie Bryan..can you imagine thinking.."I SHOULD HAVE KEPT"..for the rest of his life.
She absolutely shredded that miserable man. He's one miserable jerk. Just look at his miserable face the whole time at trial. I could see Roddie & Travis talking to their lawyers & smile here & there, but that miserable old man never talked or even looked at his lawyers. He sat there disgusted still thinking that he's been done wrong. He's the most dispicable of them all by far. He started this & he thought his connections to law enforcement would keep him out of trouble. If he had any good in him he woulda tried to take all the blame for this. U can clearly tell he woulda been very happy if only his son got convicted. U can tell he wouldn't give a dam about if his son got sent to prison for the rest of his life & he skated free from everything. What a scumbag. Prison life gonna be hardest on him for sure. Roddie & Travis will find ways to "do their time" instead of their time doing them. But miserable piece of scum Greg won't be able to figure it out. He'll scowl & be miserable 24/7 in that tiny cell for the rest of his life getting 3 small meals a day that will be brought to his cell like dog food on a tray. And he'll have to worry about that food being tampered with by the prison kitchen staff. The prison staff gonna eventually figure out which guards come to pick up his food trays & they can get real creative with putting "special ingredients" into their food. He's gonna have the toughest time by far adjusting to state prison life & he will spiral into madness. If u can't figure how to do ur time u will descend into the pit madness. As soon as Greg gets processed in the GDC he's gonna feel like his last 2 years locked up awaiting trial & sentencing was a vacation! On that very day, and in that 1st of many sleepless nights, will Justice only begin to be served for Greg McMichael. He's gonna lose his mind!
Prosecutor is Brilliant!! Great job! This young man was killed because he was a black man going for a run. Such a tragedy! Deepest Condolences to his family. 🙏🏼💐
Irregardless of his color, the verdict would have been the same. If justice is truly blind, color should not matter. That’s why I am against so-called “hate crimes”…only humanity should matter.
What I like about her is she is very clear, compassionate and levelheaded. She had an excellent understanding of both sides of the equation and she was able to argue with common sense and how the law is supposed to apply to these cases. She is an excellent role model.
I love Ms. Dunikoski's legal pad and the sound of her pen checking off all of her points as she progresses through her list. That has to be a very satisfying case, as a prosecutor. Lots of room for confidence in the verdict, especially as the defense had gotten rid of nearly all black jurors AND kept inserting charges black-biased racial inequities within the courtroom.
I am glad the jury wasn't swayed by shameful rhetoric, weak defenses, Interruptions of a Mistrial because of Black Pastors🙄🙄and looked at the Evidence, Arguments, Testimony and Demeanor and lack of Remorse from the accused to render the right Verdict!!! BRAVO to them👏👏👏
First of all, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of Ahmad Arbery. I can’t begin to imagine the pain and suffering they are enduring. As for the prosecutor, Linda Dunikoski, her team appears to have covered everything comprehensively!! Her tenacity, passion, and attention to detail is quite admirable! I also love the way she checked with her team at the conclusion of her presentation to ensure every t was crossed and every i was dotted. Well done!! The prosecutor did an excellent job showing the lack of remorse of the defendants, and rebutting the baseless arguments of the defense. It’s a sad commentary when people thoroughly believe they are above the law and that their lives have more value and importance than the lives of others!! The Honorable Judge Walmsley did an excellent job of maintaining order throughout the proceedings and explaining the rationale for his decisions!!
I read somewhere that this prosecutor had to take a road trip and work remotely to come into this county's courthouse and successfully prosecute this case and get justice for the Arbery family. She is light-years ahead of the defense. She knows exactly what to do to make sure these sentences stick.
Imagine how much super-spreader riots her good work avoided. Thank god justice was carried out. That's the last thing the year needed to start with, just that crushing sense that the bad people win. No thanks. She's a hero. Meanwhile the defence, Mr Good-old-boy Plantation Money, trying his best to make sure his "good upstanding h-wite" client has enough murder-profits to keep paying him

They really got the right prosecutor and judge for this case.
The Prosecutor is excellent & extremely clear! The Defense female interrupted her flow with *pointless word salad* just to be manipulative & muddy the waters.
During the trial she also ruined her chances of ever being confused for a decent human being with her racist character assassination of the deceased.
I can't help to pause the emotions here, she was just doing her job under the sixth amendment. Someone has to do it and the trial can be thrown out due to ineffective assistance of council. I understand why people hate lawyers, but I also understand they only do until they need one.

I sure am glad Roddie made a record of everything that happened that day! Thanks, Guy! Couldn't have done it without you!
The foolishness of overconfidence can't thank him enough
Travis taking the stand to defend himself was very helpful to the prosecution’s case.
Travis was an idiot, or rather, his defense was. Letting him get on the stand was the last thing they should have done
Don't forget to thank Greg McMichael. It was his overconfidence that the video would exonerate him that caused him to go to Roddie, get the video and release it to the media. That is why the 4th prosecutor on the case called for the GBI to investigate, and then just two days later, they were arrested.

Because of her this trial was better than any Netflix etc etc. Riveting.

Those three murderers defense teams did more damage than the prosecution
This DA.

It amazes me the amount of knowledge LD holds in her brain at one time!

Irregardless of his color, the verdict would have been the same. If justice is truly blind, color should not matter. That’s why I am against so-called “hate crimes”…only humanity should matter.
Best prosecutor I have seen in a long time. Fantastic job well done!
I love how the judge smiles at Linda every time she dots all her I’s and crossed all her T’s.
What are.you talking about?
You can see that he's truly dismayed by the defense.
