It is always better to have loved and lost, than to have NEVER known love at all. It’s an honor to have had such a memorable love. “When I think of love I think of you” is the best line in that song.
@@brendaruthalpert hey oh yeah! My Dad listened and so we grew up hearing his music.... I've just recently rediscovered JD and his music and message and everything! ❤🎶😊
Vulnerability experienced is a human emotion. John Denver wrote from his heart. It is also his own favorite song that he wrote, as it was Annie's favorite John composition. Thanks for posting this ! Hope it has many viewers!
I'm always pleased when even the very young have come to know who John Denver was and appreciate him and his music. Thank you for helping to keep him alive. From a die-hard fan who got to see him in concert many times. Oh and what a treat it was!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! From the bottom of my heart, HTOE, for finding all these AMAZING rare videos!!!!! Do you also have this full interview, too, by chance? Keep them lovingly coming!!!!!
He was talking about it being on the "new album", which it wasn't. The next album was Some Days Are Diamonds, June 81, which RCA made him do and it wasn't released until the Seasons Of The Heart, Feb 82, which John wanted to be the next album. RCA, imo, should have let him release Seasons of the Heart. Though the melody doesn't sound finished on this clip.
Absolutely perfect - never ever tire of this beautiful song….sung by the best….ever 😢
Tears cascade.
One for the ages.
Peace ✌️ 2024
Wonderfull ...

❤ oh my heart! JD sang this the month I was born! (Dec. 1980) How far out!
I love that you're a fan born long after his zenith...far out indeed!

My favourite too.

The album he referred to is the one RCA rejected, unfortunately.
@@JohnDenverHealingTimeOnEarth Yes and I think it was a form of Seasons of the Heart.
Agreed. How could it make on the album when it was just written 3 weeks prior?
:( This version hurts my heart. Do you have the interview preceeding this?
