Love this! Thankyou for posting. John was real, humble, flawed , but his genuine love of people , and the oh so much joy he has given us- priceless! I pray I meet him on the other side.
Thanks for sharing. Oh my heart. So sad he was blatantly sharing how tired he was, how he was struggling... And nothing from the host or audience. 😢 the world didn't deserve JD and everything he gave of himself. I sometimes wonder if he had taken a few breaks and reconnected with family... While fans waited? Would he still be with us?
Oh, I just hurt for the poor man--twice he said he was exhausted and no one commented or asked if he could finally take some time off. Made me very sad. 😥
A very vulnerable time for John. He addresses this in his autobiography.
What one man did....John Denver!!! Awesome!

I felt for him baring his and Annies difficult time/s, then singing Annies Song. He copped a lot of flack over the gas tanks
You can hear the sadness in his voice singing Annie's song. Beautifully done as always, but with alot of hurt in this version.
There will never be another voice like his. In fact, no-one has successfully imitated his voice…
What a nice interview with audience questions. I have never seen any performer as personable as John.
He was everything that is a comfort to hear and great entertainer and we surely miss him.

He tried.

Would love to have given him a warm Grandma hug. Such a beautiful soul.
Minimal instruments. No bass, no drums. Amazing.
I would have thought it was 1981-1982 actually....love it and thanks for posting :)
