The Sen! 1, 2 string after f2, 3 doesn't seem to be guaranteed, I've set up AI to do this tech as fast as possible, and if I just hold back I block it and Reina is at -16. The base AI though eats up everything, so if you just go for a throw out of Sen! instead after f2, 3 hits it will do a backthrow for 50 damage. But then again none of this is guaranteed, opponent has time to duck/block. It's basically a mix up situation after f2, 3. Not even Sen! 3 hits if the opponent holds downback, in fact it whiffs and you get launched, but then again you could go for mids there.
One thing ive learned if they like kicking when they get up, is her df 3+4. That does massive damage if you time it right as a counterhit and you can get the full animation
I think they changed how quick stand works if you're face-up-feet-away. After the SEN throw, f+2,3 doesn't seem to land anymore. But if they quick stand, df+1 will still hit them with their back turned. I found your video searching for Reina oki, so I figured you’d want the up-to-date tech.
Good video with some overlooked info for sure! F2,3 seems like a great go to option to test out the opponent. Would be nice if you could put the options on the screen at the end for a little summary
My problem with Reina is that her stances are unusable, everybody is just mashing and playing so aggressively and I'm constantly getting jabbed/launched when I try to do sentai for example
Yeah her risk/reward ain’t great but you just have to really pay attention to how your opponent reacts and apply the counter play, she definitely has the tools to stop mashers
@@RunnethTheFade aye defos, she's like heihachi in that way, in neutral she only has 3 lows or so.. Db2 is good (for her) and her low mid is alright, SS4 is maybe the best
@@Guitar-Dog yeah I have to use ss4 more but something about it seems so predictable for me, I just wish she had a simple low poke to grab some + frames with, her hellsweep is actually not bad too because it’s got absurd range lol

yeah at some point maybe i'll do an updated version but you're right it's just a mix up after f2,3

In one of Anakin's vids he briefly touched on Reina's unbreakable throw and said to treat it like a low. Now I see what he meant by that. Good video.
Yeah that’s good advice for all highs
I'm new to Tekken and trying to learn Reina. This helps alot man thx c:
f,f,2,f,n,3 always work in low rank. Try it. lol
Thanks for the video!
Thanks for taking the time to watch & comment

As far as I’ve last played f+2,3 has still been working for me so maybe it’s a timing issue unless it’s a really new change

Thanks for the feedback, f2,3 is definitely a good option but I’ve found myself going for war god kick just for the potential CH reward
@@RunnethTheFade Ill try both out for a bit to see what works best for me :)
Labbed this a bit and found that if they tech backwards you can get a guaranteed electric in lieu of 3+4
Great tips thank you!
This is great tech, thanks alot

Use Sen 1 2 to beat mashers and make them respect sentai
Her lows are serviceable..
She might have the worse lows in the game 😂❤
I mean they’re definitely serviceable, they’re just very risky, you have to put time into figuring out how to use them
