Thank you brother. I just purchased a Haute42 T16 and it should be arriving tomorrow. Your guides on movement have been very informative and helping. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Instant sub
Words cant describe how greateful i am to you for making this video, its just PERFECT for me. Im new to FGC, Kazuya is my first main and i almost insantly (2 month after starting to play tekken - my first fighting game) switched to a leverless and this video just covers all the bases in the most understandable format, the way you choose words to describe certain things is impeccable, tysm! ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
For those wondering, yes, 2-hand SOCD KBD on player 2 side is just as easy when you have the extra buttons; i.e.: a 16 button leverless like Haute42’s M16. You simply duplicate the left direction to one of the free buttons (I prefer the one to the right of the up button) and follow the same piano execution method.
I just bought the r16 and I can't seem to do the socd kbd my character does smol sidesteps instead. Am I doing something wrong or am I on the wrong socd mode?
@@nicebird1082 You'll want to ensure that you're in training mode and evaluate the inputs. A proper KBD evaluates as b, d/b, b ... b, d/b, b ... etc. Always 3 arrows, separated by a neutral gap. Double check to make sure your SOCD is enabled. I play with mine set to absolute up priority.
Found a way to perfectly KBD as fast as player 1 side on player 2 side. It's the inputs you do with 2 handed wave dashing on p1 side, just make sure to start with a quartercircle input. For player 1 side same thing start with quartercircle before doing the movement directly or you have to double tab backwards 1st. But yeah 2 handed P1 wave dash = a P2 KBD
thanks for the video! super helpful. any tips on how to get the timing for the electric down out of the wavedash on p1 side? for example the time stamp at 8:08. im getting a lot more consistent with wavedashing and electrics individually, but can't seem to get the timing down for when to electric out of the wavedash.
@Zephinux so, what helped me with the timing was understanding fully that the input for electric is made up of the inputs for the wavedash. What I'm trying to explain is essentially all you do is cut off one of your wavedashes at the down forward Input and hitting your button right when you slide to that input. I can also help you out in discord if you need
@@GuestFGC thanks! i've been labbing and have found some success with the timing / finger placement for me to land them, so it's just a matter of practicing it more now. how long did it take you to get your wavedash electrics as consistent as they are now?
@Zephinux about 3 or 4 months of practice before I started reality developing the rhythm of the movements. What also helped me was that idea of rhythm, thinking of the wavedash as a sort of rolling drum beat and the electric being the cymbal crash helped a lot lol
@@GuestFGC makes sense - i came to a similar conclusion when getting the timing right by slowing down the movements and taking mental note of the tactile feel of when to press, and the auditory rhythm of the keys also. in any case, thanks a lot for the tips!
@@GuestFGC Why u delete my comment ? Bc I tell the truth ? 😂😂😂 Wtf, maybe u should think about it. That the ewgf is balanced by his hard exicution, if you do on easy way like yours, you have an unfair advantage to anyone who doesn’t use a hotbox or on controller Makros. And an unfair advantage, in competitive games is cheating. You may think differently, but those would just be your thoughts and not facts. Thank you for the video it really helped with the execution, I wanted to ask you about PEWGF, is there a way to not input the neutral or is it really just a matter of doing it really fast? Was wondering if there was a trick to it or should I get used to input "f, neutral, df+2"?
hey dude i practice this on keyboard and the speed is amazing for wadesasg and kbd. But i dont have a Hitbox yet. Is not disadvantage of using 2 hands to move, even if you do it much faster, the other keys to attack are so far away? Great video.
Great tutorial I'm trying on a hitbox now. Not sure if you've seen the extra buttons hitbox is doing on controller. Curious if you think additional buttons would help on the p2 side
I can do this slow but when I speed it up it never comes out, idk if its cuz my victrix fs12 is to responsive an inputs r getting mashed or if my hand placement is trash.
@@WholeLottaFwaeh if you're getting sidesteps it's cus you're letting go of back, and if it's jittering it's cus you're not doing the whole backdash before canceling it into a dash, slow down the input
How far do the buttons travel before registering a press? How deep do they even go? I play on keyboard, and there is a lot of variance in input frames due to longish travel distance of each key. Makes some techniques close to impossible or barely doable once in a blue moon.
