Not for me. My trackpad's window switcher broke down soon after updating to 11. Also, a lot of customization features were removed in the original switch from 10 to 11, such as moving the taskbar to left/right/top, resizing it, etc. Made my Windows experience terrible. Ended up switching to macOS for good.
but you still cannot deny windows 11 uses extra 2gb ram than windows 10 on average, i will stick with win 10 until it reaches out of support and buy a new laptop in 2025 since my 7920hq doesnt support win11 for some reason

I am using 29% right now and I only have 16GB in this system. The other 71% is sitting there doing nothing. why am I going to worry about 2GB ? When Intel 14 gen comes out and I rebuild, I am going 64GB ram anyways.

Started using a MacBook Air in 2016. There was a bit of a learning curve, but the laptop and my experience has been going strong even after so many yrs. Still have not figured out many things in Mac OS, it’s file manager is not as robust as Windows (my biggest sore point with it), but boy is it stable and headache free! Serves my fairly moderate requirements. Before that, I used to run circles around a Windows system as a youngster, but since migrating to the Mac, I’ve largely mellowed down and turned from a nerd to a straight consumer, satisfied with a product as long as it works and does not give headaches. But still kind of miss the ubiquitous-ness of Windows and the ability to have workarounds for just about anything. But more than happy with the safety and smooth user experience the Mac gives me.
using MacBook for work and a windows laptop privately, I can only agree to the file manager issues. Overall, however, Mac gives me much more headaches than my Windows machine. I find the UX to be very inconsistent. Sometimes I have to go to the top bar, sometimes it can be done with a right click - sometimes copy and paste works as excpected, but in some browser applications it suddenly doesn't. These kind of annoyances ruin the Mac experience for me.
I don't understand people saying windows is unstable. I've never had a crush or blue screen in years. Abd i even tempers with registry and powershell to get rid of bloatware all the time. But i understand that you may have had some issues.
That volume mixer you're talking about used to be a feature back in the windows 7 days, which just needed one click to open, but now it needs 3 clicks and people are calling it an "innovative" feature.

There's some tweaks about file explorer i would like to get added : 1) better and more precise search 2) if file explorer is already open and another app wants to open explorer then it should open in a different tab in same window of explorer( can be turned off)
My most favourite feature which Microsoft has added in this new build is the built-in Screen Recorder, so yeah from now on I'll not be relying on OBS Studio for screen recording. Thanks @Beebom Team for sharing such a useful video.

Windows 10's Start Menu. It is clean, you can pin your icons, make the icons small/big according to your will. Moreover, there is no "Recommended" section.
If Microsoft really wanted to make a good start menu they'd bring back the one from windows 7, but they clearly want to push recommendations and stuff so this is their way to go.

I suggest you to go with i5 10th gen no gpu. Search on local market. You can get at 25k. Otherwise if you can build a basic desktop of 25 k .itwill be much cheaper.

I got a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 PLUS for Christmas and have thoroughly enjoyed using tablet mode while using my surface as a TABLET rather than the default laptop veiw! I've also found that it's useful to be able to move the tabs location from the top edge to the left for easy reach of opening windows while I use my tablet.

Adjusting the sound per app has actually been a thing on Windows since like Windows 7, the UI was just stuck in the past and it was more difficult to find than it is now.
I have used mac(monterey, Catalina, high sierra, ventura) for some time so believe me when I tell you Windows has caught up...which one is better is just preference at this point

Ok, so aside from tabs we're getting stuff that was stripped off windows or "hidden" behind a right click back. Yeaaah... Audio mixer in windows 7 was even better, just click on the sound icon and it's there, no bullshit right clicking and selecting "mixer" or click 2 or 3 times to access a regularly used feature. That, and we get an interface that feels more and more like a tablet/phone interface. I would not be that surprised if they disable mouse support in the windows 12: "tactile for everyone, why, because we said so !"

Did they fix the battery draining issue? because believe me it fu*ked my Asus strix battery after update, I had to reinstall win 10 and the battery is back to good. On win 11 it was impossible to use the laptop in battery for more than 1.5 hr even with GPU off

Volume mixer was native to windows before win 11 too. Its just more accessible now

Technically two clicks for W7: R-click the speaker, and L-click Volume mixer
Alt+Tab should work for File Explorer Tabs as well like it works for Edge tabs. One of the most awaited feature imo.
For Files yes, bur for edge i would disable it if i was still using it.

It's not better. Most of these features are not available for everyone.

There was always a native windows volume mixer. Windows + G key shortcut is the one I use to control on the fly.

Volume Mixing isn’t new, it was hidden in right click menu, neither was screen recording, that was done via Game Bar.

Did they fix the battery draining issue? because believe me it fu*ked my Asus strix battery after update, I had to reinstall win 10 and the battery is back to good. On win 11 it was impossible to use the laptop in battery for more than 1.5 hr even with GPU off
