In my experience most cooling pads are as effective as raising one end of your laptop by putting it over a notebook. If your laptop overheats, its probably got some dust in the fans. If you're confident in your skills, open up the back clean the fans and close it up. Worked like a charm and cost me nothing
Yeah , people don't realize that you can't cool a laptop by blowing air from outside

Exactly. Jarrod's tech has a video on this. A small stand cools the same while taking way less space and doesn't look ugly like the pad in video.

literally this is what i have been doing since 2 years I use a book to boost up the lower back of my laptop and clean the fans once in a while
and my laptop hasn't over heated even once following this

moreover removing that holder is a total nightmare , the glue is so strong I cant even tell , it litrarly bended my display coz I had to pull it

I think having a usb flash drive is also important. If you're buying a new laptop make sure to take a system backup at first.
So if you have a malware infection or your laptop has been performing slow just restore the backup.

Artis makes the best router UPS at around 2300. The resonate UPS I have gives me only 3-4 hours backup, while the Artis gives me 8. It's more versatile with both 12V and 9V options.

I have router UPS and it works like a charm.
keep your laptop charged, and even if power goes, laptop has power, internet doesn't go down as router has UPS, and work continues without any hurdles. super useful.
