My old Dad used to stay in the caravan park at Adelong. He would use a river sluice and shovel tons of sand through it. He ended up with about 8 grams of gold after quite a few months camping over about 10 yearrs.
I live on the east coast of the United States and I seem to find the best gold around the gray clay and like you said pot holes in the bedrock that is hard packed has been where I had the most success. Keep digging and making videos. Any good ore around?

Hey why wouldn’t you just leave tiny bits of gold in your pan .? by the end of the day those tiny bits should still be there and add up slowly Don’t chuck em because they look insignificant. This is how you master panning . That little bit of gold should be in the pan from sunrise to sunset , gradually the bits add up. Count them as you go , if you loose a few ,you know your panning method should slow a bit. This way you will master panning efficiently . Love your vids good stuff.hope I didn’t offend not my intention , just trying to help.
