    Keto is easy after the first month. Prepare for a month of hell before the rewards... I don't have very much money but I am able to live on my own formulated keto diet quite easily. I do have to eat a lot of the same foods quite regularly but I don't mind this too much. The best part is that I'm able to still consume some alcohol and even 85% cocoa chocolate in moderation.
    Every morning I will scramble 3 eggs in a pan to which I will add cheese and sometimes broccoli. Some days I will grill bacon as an addition.. It's important to fill yourself up in the morning. Black coffee only..
    During the day I will eat little bits when I'm feeling hungry. Many of us are used to eating through habbit when we're not actually hungry so wait until you really feel it before munching on slices of ham, chicken breast and cheese... other days I will eat seafood sticks but check the carbs amount first... try to eat the food with either 0g or upto 1g of carbs per serving but try not to exceed 10g or carbs in one whole day.
    In the evening there is much more choice. There will be either a chicken breast, roast pork, salmon, other white fish, pork chops, roast beef to which I might add a serving of cauliflour with broccoli and melted cheese...
    Drink plenty of water throughout the day also.... possibly try to get some light exercise regularly too... walks round the park, a short cycle or even just a long walk around your neighbourhood each day... this will boost metabolism and speed up the process..
    So here's my result after 3 weeks and 4 days.... I've lost 10.5 lb (4.8KG)
    SIDE EFFECTS that no website goes into detail!!!!
    The first two weeks you will feel terribly dizzy and lethargic.
    You may find yourself sleeping very deeply and waking up needing to recover from the deep sleep.
    Some days you will wake refreshed and alert and much earlier than anticipated.
    Around day 2 or 3 your body will crave sugar like nothing you've ever felt - This is the make or break point!!! so have a couple of cubes of DARK CHOCOLATE at 85% cocao ready to ease this pain!
    You will get diarrhea within the first 2 to 4 days after which you can experience long cycles of not needing to poop.
    There is constipation although it's simulated and not real constipation... because you have very little poop inside you, when you do get some it can be an enormous effort to get it out.
    Your breath might get a little funky so use sugar-free mints regularly.
    You will miss bread, milk, sugar, potatoes (in fact all root veg) but this is the ultimate challenge!
    UP SIDE
    After just two weeks I could start to see my facial bone structure appearing slowly through my fat face. I was so ashamed that I'd let myself go over a 6 year period but to see my facial features and definition starting to reapear was like the best and most rewarding feeling that you just can't buy. THIS is my KETO on a budget and it won't be for everyone however it becomes normality after a month and easy to stick to. Good luck everyone.

      What's a good budget meal plan for someone who is bulking for bodybuilding? On Keto, it means less Oatmeal and Rice for me, which has been 50%+ of my diet.
      I can do 4 eggs a day, but that's only a few hundred calories out of the 3000 I aim for.

    Big fan of your UA-cam channel. Wanted to see if I can get some guidance from you. I am a 33 year old Male, 5'10" around 197 lbs. I want to say I am somewhere between the 21 to 25 percent body fat. My goal is to get to the 10 to 14 range but I've been struggling. I would like to share my daily routine to see where I am failing. I started the Keto diet, I wake up at 2:30am and be at the gym by 3, the only thing in my stomach at this time is my pre-workout shake. I start with a 30 minute cardio, followed by weight lifting, I always finish with an ab workout. Working out until 4:30 and head to work. I start shirt at 6 and that's is when I eat breakfast, two brown eggs scrambled with ham and one slice of cheese, by 9 I eat a salad, it's just lettuce with half a roma tomato, 1/4 of a cucumber and one cup of pecans, no dressing. by noon I eat 8 ounces of ground beef 80-20 mixed with squash and bell pepper and half an avocado. By 3 I drink a coffee with MCT oil, coconut oil and heavy whipping cream. I end shift at 5, get home by 6:30 and eat 8 ounce of steak with broccoli topped with parmesan cheese. I eat the same thing every day Monday through Saturday. Sundays I do more of going out and eat but I try to stay clean, I get a cheat meal with either candy, Chocolate or chips.
    Can you add or subtract anything from this routine?!

      David Rosales I think you are eating too often. Check Dr. Eric Berg channel, he suggests to go with 2 meals. You should try to practice intermittent fasting. You can start with the bullet proof coffee before your workout or after your workout. Fast for at least 16 hours. For your first meal, you can have some eggs with avocado, kale or spinach as a side some macadamia nuts. Waited for at least 3 or 4 hours to have the second meal which can be some big bowl of green salad with salmon, pour some olive oil on it and some feta or goat cheese. Later on if you need some energy, you can a green shake with mct oil and coconut milk, collagen powder and some almond butter.

Did you makes changes to your workout plan before and after the ketosis eating? (Been told ketosis is not conducive to hypertrophic but your jacked up build suggests not so, do you have to up your time under tension due t9 ketosis diet?

    You mentioned that you take potassium and magnesium. Are you doing this in the morning before you eat anything? The supplements recommend to take them with food. However you don't eat until 1 o'clock. I am interested in taking potassium and magnesium supplements. I am worried to not have enough electrolytes with this diet. I feel great on the diet, but would rather be safe than sorry.

    6:00 so I should take 1, 2 maybe even 3 days without food so my carb-energy deplates and then start keto-diet?
    7:40 OK this is super important. If stevia-based sugar-free things are fine, does that mean PEPSI MAX (no cugar - it has aspartam, acesuflam K) is also fine in KETO diet? I ask, cause I am heavily addicted to it. It's my main go-to sweet thing, which helps me not eat sweets.

      There are better resources out there to answer these questions. I stopped paying attention when I saw he talks about body types which is nonsense. My answers to you would be. 1. No you don't need to fast...it can help you deplete glycogen stores and get you into ketosis faster but not necessary. I would work on getting the foods down and start using a macro calculator like myfitnesspal. 2. Everyone reacts differently to synthetic sugars and sugar alcohols. Most of the stuff isn't natural and would try to avoid it. That being said I drink some diet coke with stevia and it doesn't bother me but you will need to see what works best for you. This is only my opinion and based on my own experience but good luck on your journey!

    • @MrDeothor
      @MrDeothor 4 роки тому

      @@jeremyfink537 yea, I'm slowly trying to understand how cronometer works (it's like myfitnesspal app i think). I'm yet to set it for keto-diet. It has just so many options..
      I kind of forgot about 1 super important question. What about the so called "bad cholesterol" from animal sources? In keto I'll definitely gonna eat alot more animal-fat so what does that mean for my veins and cholesterol levels? Asking cause both my parents had heart attacks already both cases caused by cholesterol x.x

    • @jeremyfink537
      @jeremyfink537 4 роки тому

      MrDeothor always check with your doctor beforehand. I remember watching a lot of videos showing before and after labs and in every one it improved their cholesterol. It may be beneficial to do that for yourself and see where you are at now and once you get the all clear from your doctor check it again in a couple months. The ketogenic diet is a low inflammation diet so I can’t see anything that improves inflammation being bad for your circulatory system.

    • @jeremyfink537
      @jeremyfink537 4 роки тому

      MrDeothor also I forgot to mention. You don’t have to get high fat meat protein to be in Ketosis. You can still get lean meats and then get your fats from great sources like avocado and olive oil. Utilize the good fats that are considered heart healthy while using lean protein.
