    Great video mate. Really clear and honest. Just started Keto 3 days back. Struggling to get below 50grams of carbs each day when i put foods into a carb calculator. Feeling far less bloated but the carb temptation is big and i have a dull headache and feel a bit hazy. Pissing loads too- water seems to go straight through me.

    Just found him. I am 42 and am now doing IF plus Keto. I think now I better go get some creatine since I train kettlebell sport and oly lifts and feel a bit weak but my food addiction is decreasing!! That's a win. Most of my life I have been lean, can eat what I want and lose easy if I do gain. This time around in my 40's..not easy. Intermittent fasting helped a lot in the past but I've always backslidden..paired with keto, I may never be back in "rehab" again.

    This is excellent. Just started KETO about 2 weeks ago - Cold turkey style. Had the worst diet and ordinary lifestyle.. 121kgs at 52yo. Not having any brekky at present (bar two long-black coffees) and eat at 1230pm for first time in the day. Pretty much zero carbs bar green leaf salads. Have dropped nearly 8kgs in 16 days. Appreciate this more technical info thanks so much.

      I like that you get straight to the damn point about things. No crazy editing or rabbit trails. Keep it up!
      Id love to see more videos on building muscle while keto adapted (4-6 months in).
      1. When to eat
      2. Muscle building calorie and macro count,
      3. How many meals,
      4. Pre/post meals?
      5. Whats the most effective muscle building workouts while adapted?
      Muscle building on keto is a rarely touched topic. Most youtubers stay within weightloss. You definitely have a niche in this and your experience is evident in the way you deliver the information, we can tell you know what you're talking about. Awesome job, great videos!

      For us skinny people that have difficulties putting on muscle what type of diet would he recommend for this body type? I have been doing Keto to help with inflammation fro my IBS and have felt better being on it. I have more energy and don't get that sluggish feeling but I know it won't help me put on muscle. So what would he recommend for someone like me?

      Hi Daniel ... straight off the bat I will tell you I am 64yrs this coming June and have always been active but as I have aged I have also slowed a little and put on a small amount of mainly belly fat.I have just started a ,as I will put it , a sensible lo carb eating pattern for the last 4 to 5 weeks, not strictly keto but definitely along those guidelines, dropped sugars,potatoes,pasta,rice, bread etc.Your explanations on the function of the body are by far the most comprehensive and easily understood to the layman I have yet come across.Thankyou .. I guess that being a Brit stops you rambling like you were born in the USA.By the way .at 64 I'm still surfing, boxing and lifting weights and hopefully by following your guidelines I will be doing so for many years to come. And yes the fat is dropping gradually which is the way I want it to. 👍🙏

    Does drinking bulletproof coffee in the morning break your fast?

    • @husamaljarba5913
      @husamaljarba5913 5 років тому

      Yes it is, because that will raise the insulin level

    • @MrXxColexX1
      @MrXxColexX1 5 років тому +1

      It will break your fast technically because consuming any calories will take you out of a fast but it will keep you in ketosis because it only contains fat which only has a 2% spike in insulin. So basically no spike in insulin.
