  • Do you really understand the psychology of women’s behaviour and competition?
Still think men are more competitive than women?
    Think again…
In this interview Dr. Joyce Benenson offers a deep dive into her ground-breaking research on the differences between men and women. She shares surprising findings that challenge common beliefs, such as the discovery that young boys and men are highly communal, caring, and cooperative, contrasting with the common stereotype of men we have in our minds.
We explore the unique ways men and women form relationships and alliances. Dr. Benenson also delves into the fascinating world of female intersexual competition, revealing that women do compete as much as men do, but using more subtle strategies.
This conversation covers a range of intriguing topics, including gender dynamics, the evolution of the human brain for social navigation, and the sensitivity of women to threats, which might influence their behaviour in avoiding controversy or cancelling dissenting voices.
Join us for an insightful and thought-provoking discussion that will challenge your perceptions and deepen your understanding of gender differences and evolutionary biology that drives us all.

Your channel is great 👍. As a guy I always found male competition between children simple and easy to deal with. It is female competition between girls that I found exhausting. My daughter (she was 19 at the time) did special needs camp America leading. She told me she found the same thing.

Thank you, I've always been somewhat of a tomboy, but I find male competition easy to deal with as you know what you're dealing with. I was brought up with an older brother and his mates, so perhaps this is my upbringing. Overall, I find female competition tiring too.
The sad truth is that sometimes hanging out with your closest female friends is much easier than with larger and looser groups.

Lovely conversation. Beautiful Intelligent very interesting. 10:04 Please let me share something I've come to realize in the last decade or so. Humans are obligate carnivores. We must have meat, fish, eggs, or unprocessed dairy. We don't need to eat plants and are much happier and healthier when we don't. 14:06

My cat is an obligate carnivore. I function well on BBQ pork on rice with a side of Shanghai greens, you need fiber to avoid constipation, and rice.

Completely agree. I can accept humans might be obligate omnivores, but not carnivores. I myself, suffer a great deal if I eat too much meat and lots of unprocessed plant foods make me feel great! @@hufficag

@hufficag You do not need fiber. It can cause constipation. It definitely does not prevent it. You'd be healthier without the rice. You absolutely do not need it. We are obligate carnivores for the same reason your cat is. You can add rice to your cat's food if you like. We need meat or fish for the same reason your cat does.

@squeaker19694 Check the definition of obligate carnivore. We need meat or fish for the same reason a cat does. I don't think you know what it feels like to be truly healthy. It's only a matter of time before your beliefs catch up with you.
