Great to see you again Craig. I'm in Australia so like Canada things are pretty interesting lately. Good to see maybe they're on the improve there too. Fingers crossed.
I've used way out-of-date cans before and they all worked fine. I've even used the old yeast when a brew doesn't seem to be working with the yeast I selected to bump it along. I usually do all-grain but when I'm short of beer and time the Coopers cans are terrific. Cheers!
I’m brewing a Coopers 86 day Pilsner right now. Been out of the game for awhile. I’m back at it again doing my old routine, random CraigTube video on in the background and brewing beer while enjoying one Cheers! 17!
Glad to see you're still live and well and brewing! Been a fan for ages, was a bit sad you weren't feeling it anymore. Don't ever let the haters get to you, it's easier to dump on others than to actually do something onesself! Will definitely check out rumble too!
Hey Craig! It's Bobbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbby from your Vaugn live chatroom! You were the 1st youtuber I watched when I decided to brew my own beer! love your videos and respect your opinion my man!
Best way to find out if yeast is still good is to activate it in some sugar water! You'd be surprised how resilient yeast is. As for conspiracy theories go, if you get flack you are over the target! Love your brew shows.
the coopers yeast date codes aren't actual dates, they're how many days into the year they were produced, for example, 17618 would be produced on the 178th day of 2018
Craig, prep on dry foods as well, pasta, rice, sugar, salt, spices etc. Make sure to have proteins in cans as well, fish, meat etc. Buy and store what you eat. Beware of freezing too much in case of powershortages. 😎👍
Missed you Craig. Just noticed I hadn’t seen you for a while. I had to go and buy some store bought beer. So expensive. I always remember your videos, when you haven’t brewed much, and have to go get store beer. It’s so expensive
I just did a Coopers Brew A IPA, but on recommendation by the staff at the brew shop, I bought an M44 (Mangrove Jacks) yeast, they said it would produce better results, and having used that yeast before I believe it will. I'm also going to dry hop with Cascade, so I'll see well that works. Thanks for a great video!
As always, enjoyable viewing Craig. A helpful tip for young players other there when working with questionable yeast... create a yeast starter or even just rehydrate your yeast that way you can be certain that you have a viable product before pitching.
Hi Craig, I’ve always had trouble with my weight… I’ve been doing Keto for a while now and lost a heap of weight and feel so much better…. I’m even drinking no carb beer😂 Love your channel 🍺
yeah .. finally same thing happened to me.. but i knocked my co2 tank over one day.. not too bad... didnt noticer anythin..no hiss or anything.... but when i restarted the brew dungeon, dammit an evil hiss shot out of the co2 tank on off handle.. i thought it was def the handle valve.. but it was just actually a loose regulator connect to the tank beside the handle !!!! then i bought 2 used kegs..and am going to reaseal the said tanks.. because one is leaking like a sieve..just sitting there...with hot water in it !!!! bubbling out the top !!! so i ordered keg lube and 3 seal kits.. and finally a proper keg line and tube cleaner brush !!!
cheapest store brought carton of heavy beer in oz is around $40 if you like cheap tasting euro beer, $48 if you buy local beer. Craft beer starts around $60 a carton and goes up from there.
It's funny that, as a Brewtuber, it starts to feel monotonous doing the same thing every time. The thing is, we keep watching because we like the dude, not because we want to see anything new. I would watch Craig brew the same kit every day!
Big fan Craig, I have followed your videos and did a killer batch of Pale Ale. Its so good to see you back on youtube. The videos I have seen were quite old. Its so great to see you still doing my favorite beer diy videos. So thank you thank you so much. By chance have you done any video doing the bottling as well?
Hey, when you pump nitrogen gas into a keg and continue pumping it for a whole day, the pressure inside the keg will increase and explode. What is the amount you produce until the nitrogen gas bottle becomes empty?
I just did two Cooper's kits. One was the English bitter and the other was their Irish Stout. Both are coming along on the keg but both had an off flavor when ready to keg. Does anybody know if they supply the same strain of yeast with all their kits? That's the only thing I can think of that would make them taste like almost the same beer. Again though, they are improving with time and settling into their own.
Hey Craig From Tassie, good to see you again doing what you do best. BTW, the audio is a bit sibilant with a bit of a high buzz, you might want to knock the top back a bit.
Hey brother. Where can I email you a recipe of my home beer I make? It is Chip and people love it. It is all about LME and DME + Hops + Yeast. BTW is that a Home Distiller in a Frame.
How are you getting Cooper's Kits at a reasonable price??? Just recently got back into brewing after a hiatus. (Initially go into it thanks to you!) And I can't believe the prices of the Cooper's Kits....
In ireland now the price of all alcohol has gone sky high with new tax, basic but good supermarket beer has gone from. 75c a can to €1.79, if you hadn't been there showing basic brewing I wouldn't be able to move back to home brewing, kits are just fine, looking forward to see what you've to say and do on the other platform 🍺👍
Where do you buy your kits ? I am in Dublin but buy up North in NI. Yes no more cheap beer in the South .Wine also that i bought in Lidl for 4 euro is near 7 Euro a bottle now .So far i have brewed white wine and a STOUT type beer .Have a Larger brewing currently .
Craig have you tried doing keto diet, i am the same age as you and I lost 16kg last year I still have kept it off keto is a life style change even drank beers every day
What happened Craig, went on Rumble an nothing much on there apart from the Backing Off video. Did they get to you and make you quiet, or have you just had enough. Your opinions matter, and I also agree with you.
I've recently brewed 2 Coopers kits, both were 8 years out of date. I ditched the yeast and used a new Belgian yeast. Both came out perfectly
Man it's good to see you Craig. Please do more of these. It never gets old.
Agreed!
Getting back to the basics! Thanks for all you do Craig!

Great to see you again Craig. I'm in Australia so like Canada things are pretty interesting lately. Good to see maybe they're on the improve there too. Fingers crossed.
Over 12 months later in Oz, things are worse. We have wall to wall Labor Govts. in every state except Tassie.
I've used way out-of-date cans before and they all worked fine.
I've even used the old yeast when a brew doesn't seem to be working with the yeast I selected to bump it along.
I usually do all-grain but when I'm short of beer and time the Coopers cans are terrific.
Cheers!
Good to see you again mate
Great to see you back bud! Cheers and keep them coming!

Enjoy your videos. I’m serious thinking to sign up to your new channel. I’ve done Coopers as well and easy and always come out good.
It's funny that, as a Brewtuber, it starts to feel monotonous doing the same thing every time. The thing is, we keep watching because we like the dude, not because we want to see anything new. I would watch Craig brew the same kit every day!
Great video, originally started brewing with Coopers Kits and your vids.

Ever make a half sized batch using just the Cooper's hme can? I'm assuming the bitterness would end up being fairly potent. But I'm still curious.

What country? Im in aust where coopers is from and a kits like $18 if that
@@clubslaben U.S. Here, we can't even touch a can of Cooper's for less than $40 USD.
We can get them from£11.00 the UK which I don't think is too bad.
Cheers 👍🍺
Some retailers must be marking them up some.
I went to rumble and didn’t see any videos. What am I doing wrong. I saw there was about 90 subscribers.
7:30 $14 - $17 bucks downunder...
Great guy ❤️👍🙏🏼
Because the truckers that are, refuse to drive in unison with those that can’t.
Do you still have a channel for LP records etc? Thanks
Where's the rumble link, Craig? I can't seem to find it.
