Craig, in the predicament the world is in at the moment, watching one of your video's is just like a breath of fresh air ....calming if you will. Thank you.
Great blog thanks, you no it’s not ridiculous you brewing even a simple kit, that’s what’s it’s all about people love watching people brew, I bet if you did 1 blog just chatting and one blog on brewing plus chat, you no the brew day will win every time hand down. So Craig more brewing less chat 😂 keep them coming thanks
Glad you keep doing these Craig. I learnt so much from all your early videos , brewing, kegging etc.. and whilst I moved onto all grain quiet some time ago I still respect kit brewers and especially all you have done for the home brew community... May not have the flashy setups but your still the main man for me. Keep going. 👍
Craig, this is what we like. This is why we subscribed years ago.. because we enjoy watching you brew your brew... the way you do it. Do this more. ✌🤘💛
Dam its great to see you making vids still,We don't care what you brew, just hanging out with you gives us all a reason to hop on UA-cam to watch such a genuine guy,we miss you mate and don't stress about camera angles, just sitting and talking is good enough for me. Hope to see more vids of anything.
Craig it's not about watching you brew, it's simply enjoyable just watching and listening to you, as someone has said it's calming, thank you and please continue.
I've made it pretty routine to wait untill the next day to pitch yeast and haven't ever had an issue. I just like watching your videos no matter how easy.
I am very thankful that I found you back on UA-cam I lost everything when I replaced my phone I had to get a new UA-cam account and all my social media I'm glad I found you back I'll be watching you from now on look forward to all your posts and I'm going to even rewatch all of the ones that I have missed you a great job you're awesome keep up the good work I'm looking forward to more posts have a great day
Hi Craig Im from Ireland and I make the same kit only cider instead.I love watching your vids your a great singer as well!! Keep making the videos they are brill...
Cheers Craig (Steelroads here) - thanks for the giggles, and sharing! Stir-stir-stur (turn-turn-turn) hehe. Hey I pressed the thumbs-up thingy, and it now says 420 likes - I immediately thought, yegads Bean (Chris) must be watching also! *giggle*
You are very educational and I have learned a lot about brewing beer I definitely appreciate all of your effort keep up the good work I appreciate it very much have a great day
Craig nice to see another one of your classic home brew videos. Your videos started me on my homebrewing hobby and perhaps some may say one of my slightly obsessive hobbies. 😉🤣hope all is well.. Cheers !🍻
You probably are the granddad of kitbrewers on the tube. I just finished my first beer, coopers canada blonde. I have no illusions about its quality. Im not calling it a great beer. But damn do i feel satisfaction of drinking my own beer! Its god damn awesome. From now on i will learn and improve my craft with time. Thank you for the brewspiration and keep brewing and making your awesome vids. Cheers mate!
Thanks for making these videos… yeah I’ve brewed a hundred times before, but I normally watch these while brewing or bottling. It’s like brewing with an old friend. Thank you for your efforts here, really!
Sounds really weird but I love you Craig. I stayed brewing seven years ago after researching UA-cam and found your channel. I've won multiple medals and even had a proam at the greatest American beer festival. I'm an all grain guy who does everything possible to brew great beer. We're totally different brewer's but I still love your videos. I wish we'd be neighbors and I'd love to shared a few beers with you
Those "Make Your Own Crafted Beer Kits" are pretty good extract kits. Most come with a packet of hops for dry-hopping. I believe that they are actually Mangrove Jack's or Muntons "no name" style kits, as the yeast and hop packets are the same packaging and printing as those two companies. Thanks for brewing this and showing us!
This brings back memories, Craig. Lol, you sound like a guy who has been making brewing videos for 20 years, but I think people still appreciate your efforts in making these vids. :)
You probably feel like this is demeaning and easy but I’ve just found your videos and I appreciate them very much! Just about to brew my first beer and you’re helping tons!
I like it when you're brewing Craig because brewing is what makes you happy! NEVER forget though just because it's simple, SO simple to you, that there may be new home brewers watching and it ain't so simple to them :):) I know you've done it so many times you could do it in your sleep like making wine but newbies need a little more help and this video is exactly what they need. Thank you for making this video and when I make my first batch of beer,, YOU will be the mentor,,, :) Now back to my wine making lol,, Cheers!! :)
Amazing video Craig! Never give up !always great listening to your videos, information is great:) you always get know it all’s on UA-cam which you got to look over and not let them get to you :) same with me and exploring you have the idiots who think they’re better than everyone else! All the best seventeen
Brother Craig, we love to watch you brew, I know it's as easy as making canned soup, but you bring something magical to it. I love the little tangents you go off on. When I brew a coopers, mangrove or other kit, I will always watch your video if the same before for some reason, I don't know why, it reassures me I'm doing it right, your the kit and kilo king.
Craig, it's good to see you in action again regardless of how 'simple' you think it is. One of the reasons I have been watching you for over 10 years and opened my own brewery.
As a lurker who learned to brew by watching your first videos 10+ years ago, watching every video you've made since, and getting to know you as the brewer/chef/parent/husband/philosopher you are, I REALLY appreciate this video. Sure, it's less produced than your previous videos, but who cares!? I know you've made highly produced videos in the past, which I GREATLY appreciate, but honestly really enjoy this simple video of you just doing your thing worry and stress free. Edit: "musician" needs to be added to that list!!
Hi Craig, I started watching your videos and brewing beer about 3 months into the pandemic. I had attempted to do so in the past with very poor results. Your videos helped tremendously! I have made about 6 different kinds of beer so far and they have all been delicious. It has been a great stress reliever that has really helped me to keep my spirits up. Please keep on doing your videos!
Good for you. I love the easy beer making method you have showing, and I have watched you for years....and watched all the other guys and their methods too. For me,,,and probably a lots of guys this is really all we want... good beer and good people to enjoy it with. Thanks for the goodness you provide.
Agreed on just waiting for the wort to cool over several hours. Lately I’ve been breaking my 10gal all grain brew sessions into 2 days. As soon as the boil is done I just put the lid on the kettle and go to bed. Usually 12-16 hours later it’s at pitching temp so I transfer to the fermentors and pitch the yeast. I have had zero problems doing this and it really helps open up opportunities to brew when I don’t need to find blocks of 5-6 hours straight to do it.
Craig, I agree with you about the Cooper's yeast. I used to just rip it off and throw it in the fridge ( 😮 oh my!! ) but yes the yeast has changed, and it really does 'rock 'n roll' under the right conditions. Just did an experimental Cooper's Pale Ale 'partial mash' NEIPA and it was fermented in 4 days! Thanks Craig, keep up the great work. Looking forward to the next one! 👍🏻😎🍻🍻🍻
You are very entertaining and I get nostalgic watching you brew. Your videos got me in to brewing. I appreciate you and your ability to entertain us by simply being yourself. You're awesome Craig, keep uploading for us man.
You got me into brewing some 6 years ago when I accidentally stumbled upon your channel. Been brewing ever since. All-grain mostly these days but every once in a while I'll brew myself a good old Cooper's Canadian Blonde. Cheers!
Craig, please keep making these videos! It doesn't matter if what you're doing is complicated or not; in fact, I prefer these simple brews. When I watch your videos, it's like we're just hanging out together in your basement having a beer together.
Craig its good to see you back brewing, it was your inspiration that got me brewing, there are people every day that are new to brewing and I am sure you are inspiring them as well.
Craig, we watch you brew a simple kit to relax and escape for a while :) You might think it's boring, but it's not. Don't underestimate the therapeutic value of just shootin the S... Cheers, 17.
Hey Craig. New to home brewing (4 brews in) and I love watching your videos so far. Simple and to the point which eased the nerves for my first couple. Thankyou from AUS!
Hi. Great to see you back again. I do not have beer in my glass right now, and it looks lovely when you have your own beer. Looking forward to the next episode. I still have to buy my beer in the store. But it's ok because we have Senja beer here, which is lovely. Great to see you back in beer brewing. Maybe I can send you a Senja beer. Think you might like it.
seen it all done it all still like watching you do basic brews I still like doing basic brews and to all the brew snobs out there you can still make good beer with pre hoped malt extract kits. Not every one can do all grain Good to see you back Craig
It's funny how you lose the worries over time. I don't bother cleaning out kegs much, just leave them in the fridge & dump in a new batch right in on top. And yep, when you're purposefully infecting something, it'll 99% bully out anything else that might’ve be there to start with. Whilst you're making vids, I'll watch mate, enjoyed this one 👍
Love your vids. I think that home brewing should be fun and enjoy your final results, People get too frustated trying to make the perfect brew,,,just sterilize everything and let it roll
Thanks Craig it's great to see you and I'm glad you are still doing extract kits as that's all I do and I've been watching your brewing vlogs for years, as you say it's easy to do and the modern kits are great with better ingredients than they used to be. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Good observation on the Coopers yeast. I've noticed the newer ones sometimes seem to have a longer 'lag phase' after pitching. Still works good, just sometimes takes 24 or 36 hours to get a move on.
Hugs Craig. Long time. Glad to see you are still happy & healthy. Have you seen the Bruce Jenner documentary, centered on the '76 Olympics? I totally thought about you and your musical achievement for that Olympics year. Again, hugs, my friend.
Add me to the long list of people you've inspired to home brew. I'm only 2 kits down but 3rd is lined up, st Peter's red ale! Your high praise made it a must-buy!
Great to see a brewing video my friend! I watched this while brewing up a Cooper's Pilsner and English Bitter, been watching you for years and I still love the Cooper's kits. You mentioned thinking they had changed the yeast, have you or anyone else noticed any difference in the English Bitter kit? The last 3 or 4 I brewed just seem different, maltier and a different sort of flavor..not spoiled or anything just different and not quite as nice. I just notice the difference in the English Bitter, no other kits. Take care!
Good video Craig I don’t like the coopers yeast it’s weird I used it recently on a Canadian blonde and na I wish I just used good old us-05 but each to ur own I guess keep up the good content cheers 🍻
Yay back in the dungeon!
Craig, in the predicament the world is in at the moment, watching one of your video's is just like a breath of fresh air ....calming if you will. Thank you.
Glad you're still around and decided to stick around. You're ten thousand times better than channels like City Steading Brews. Can't stand them.
Been watching you craigtube for years, glad to see you are still going and hope you are well.

Beer is the preliminary stage of wiskey/burbon before destilling.
Anyway, Craig is a legend.

Happy to see you back brewing Craig. Always enjoy your videos!
Good to see you back brewing beer.
Craig a quick tip is to steep the bag in very hot water for a good 10 min before pouring it out.
Good observation on the Coopers yeast. I've noticed the newer ones sometimes seem to have a longer 'lag phase' after pitching. Still works good, just sometimes takes 24 or 36 hours to get a move on.

Thanks for the quality content Craig!!!!!
I love u brother but did I hear u pass some gas when u pick up that fermenter… that was a good one I would clam that one 👍❤️🍻Cheers 👍❤️🙏🏼

You're the man Craig. Maybe we can make beer from Bbq sauce? haha. keep the videos coming mate!
Great video once again craig cheers
Great video, I do coopers kits, have done for years, however I have been ditching the yeast and using 05 or Voss.
Hope you are well

Craig, how come you don't use the Krausen Kollar with the Coopers fermenter?
Nice!
