Rev. Dr. Cynthia Rigby will be honored with the Excellence in Theological Education Award at General Assembly 226 in Salt Lake City in late June 2024. Dr. Cynthia Rigby has served on the faculty of Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Texas since 1995. She is a speaker, preacher, author, and lecturer who seeks to make Christian teachings clear and accessible.

The fund is housed at the Presbyterian Foundation and is the sole source of denomination-wide funding for seminaries from the PC(USA).
