if jesus died for their sin then why some people still go to hell by the bible?
god gave numerous proofs but people choose to believe other people instead of god.god sent the first prophets to israel and they changed the torah then sent jesus pbuh and they made him a god even if the bible itself denies it if
The bible is a witness on its own changing by humans.
jesus is not God by the bible itself-
God is capable of everything right? lets assume he split himslef to three than jesus who is himslef God in flesh calls God my God Matthew 27:46 and worships God in Matthew 26:39 and even if you say that nonsense of even if jesus is God he dont make himslef equal to the father then the bible says God is not a man Numbers 23:19 and that jesus is a man 1 Timothy 2:5.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; the bible
god then sent mohamed pbuh with the quran where god gave clear proofs
1.The prefontal cortex role lying and mistake:* ناصية كاذبة خاطئة
2.God stated the seven layers of atmosphere and each does something:
What, do you disbelieve in Him who created the earth(the for ground is the same in arabic for ground) in two days, and do you set up compeers to Him? That is the Lord of all Being.
And He set therein firm mountains over it, and He blessed it, and He ordained therein its diverse sustenance in four days, equal to those who ask.'
Then He lifted Himself to heaven when it was smoke(reffering to primordial smoke) and said to it and to the earth, "Come willingly, or unwillingly!" They said, "We come willingly."
So He determined them as seven heavens(the word for hevean is the same for sky in arabic) in two days, and revealed its commandment in every heaven.' So he means seven skies inside the earth and each has its commandment plus god answers the question did he make the earth in six days:no because in the first 2 days there were no sky so no night and morning(a day) so god means a period using the word day.
3.the pharoh didnt die in the sea with moses pbuh watching
just look for ramses 2 body its pharaoh body that stayed the same like weirdly the same as god stated
So today We shall deliver thee with thy body, that thou mayest be a sign to those after thee. Surely many men are heedless of Our signs.'
the big bang The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it.

the quran is all truth word by word with no one single mistake i dare you to find one(a real one not lies or misquoting or mistranselations from arabic)
allah means arabic and in jesus language aramaic its the same word Ĕlāhā, or Alaha and pronouced the same.
plus by two verse it shows even if there were a moon god as you say who is named allah which is logical because allah means God in arabic God showed he mean God the one who made the earth in 6 days split the sea, sent jesus and they made a God out of him...
He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve,
even though God created both you and that which you have made?"-the quran 37.95.
When he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship?"
They said, "We worship idols and remain to them devoted."
      ...
Indeed, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds,-quran 26.77
Do they (the pagans) consider things that do not create anything but are themselves created equal to God?-the quran 7 verse 191.
(Muslims), say, "We believe in God and what He has revealed to us and to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, and their descendants, and what was revealed to Moses, Jesus, and the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction among them and to God we have submitted ourselves."-the quran.
I BELIVEVE IN THE BIBLE AND JESUS BECAUSE I HAVE THE PROOF THE MIRACELOUS QURAN AND AT LEAST I KNOW WHAT WAS ADDED BY HUMANS AND WHAT WAS NOT.
FINALLY I WOULD LIKE TO QUOTE THE BIBLE ONLY
      GOD IS NOT A MAN.Numbers 23:19
For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,1 Timothy 2:5.
and jesus calling GOD MY GOD AND THEN WORSHIPING HIM IN JHON 18.6
Those who say that Jesus, the son of Mary, is God, have, in fact, turned to disbelief. Jesus said to the Israelites, "Worship God, my Lord and yours. God will deprive anyone who considers anything equal to God of Paradise and his dwelling will be fire. The unjust people have no helpers."-THE GREAT QURAN.

Those who say that God is the third of the Three, have, in fact, turned to disbelief. There is no Lord but God, the only One Lord. If they will not give-up such belief, the disbelievers among them will suffer a painful torment.-the quran

I was a lifelong of agnostic that slowly came to Eastern orthodox christianity My mom is ethnically Jewish but was a practicing non denominational list which never really sold me. I had to go and intellectually stump on the faith and then and do some serious both the research and soul searching. I never quite had I found Jesus moment. For me it was a longing and a struggle and finding a home and still dealing with my failures but know I have the family in the church And saints to support me in my trying to become close to the Lord.
But I honestly when I went to a Eastern orthodox service the matins on Christmas Eve day I never cried so hard in my life being able to hear the divine liturgy in its beauty in English.

it’s not different religions but instead different interpretations and beliefs about the same religion for example the catholics have a lot more focus on doing good deeds then just getting saved while protestants are the opposite and in the protestant church you have differences like how pensocotal focus on the holy spirt and speaking in tongues and baptist are more focused on just generally being free of sin and having a relationship with god

@Scout First, it’s awesome that you have decided to follow Jesus 😊. Welcome, friend!!! The most important thing to know is that the Bible is right. Every denominational teaching should be examined against the scriptures.
When Christianity first began on the day of Pentecost, the men gathered asked the Apostles a simple question: What shall we do? Peter gave them a simple answer: Repent and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission (removal) of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Now, I’m Acts 2:1, Acts 10 and Acts 19 we see repeatedly that the Holy Ghost came with a sign of tongues. Jesus also in Mark 16:16-17 said one of the signs that would follow believers was to speak in tongues. It’s a heavenly prayer language that is available to every believer.
Now, Paul said in his letter to gentile believers not to believe any other Gospel than what was preached back then. So, we know that this is the doctrine we should continue to follow today, okay dear one? The Lord loves you and knows your heart for Him.
Be baptized (it can be anywhere, even a beach or public pool or tub). It MUST be in the Name of Jesus. Remember, Colossians 3 tells us that In Jesus dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily so His Name is the Name of the titles that are Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Jesus has many titles, but one Name.
And when you surrender to Him in prayer, you will be filled to overflowing with His Spirit and speak in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance

As someone who has experienced some of these things first hand (speaking in tongues, divine healing, etc,) it is a powerful experience. Many people say it's emotionalism or anti-biblical, but it is absolutely real and genuine. I don't believe it was exclusively for the early church, as Acts 2:39 says "For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call."

Wow. How true. I was baptized in the First Christian Church and soon learn that the Church of Christ and the First Christian Church were once one, but split over a disagreement about whether or not there should be music in church. Being young and often speaking before I thought, I pretty much said but that was a pretty stupid reason to split a church. The pastor seemed very offended and told me that, "Nevertheless, that was the truth!" So, it seems obvious that people can emphasize a difference to the exclusion of all commonalities. That is people. That is not God. Imperfect, fallen, indeed. Perhaps there is a deeper meaning to God referring to us as children.

Jesus simply asks us to share the good news of the Gospel, not discourage and divide fellow Christians by self-righteously accusing them of being unGodly, you don't have to scroll down very far on this or other Christian videos find very hateful unchristian comments attacking each other, and yes I have certainly been guilty of this in the past I can testify that it only leads to guilt and shame, instead let us love and encourage our neighbor! I thought I wanted a "non-denominational" but ended up in a Baptist church ( I was hesitant at first) - these people are so wonderful at my church.
As long as Scripture is truthfully taught in the church and the Spirit is present, you'll be blessed (and hopefully God will use you to bless others!) -- the minor differences are just that -- minor.
I mean -- we have some extremely smart elders in our church (we're currently looking for a pastor) and even the elders have disagreements on some minor things (and will preach them) but it's always done in love, and it's about the non-essentials.
On the essentials (salvation by grace, through faith, in the one and only name of our redeemer, Jesus Christ, who is God incarnate) everyone agrees. We all strive to understand the Bible as clearly as possible, knowing that there are disagreements on some things (for instance the rapture, timing of the 2nd coming, etc.) It's all good and gives us stuff to lovingly debate, while worshipping God as truthfully as possible from Scripture on the things He's very clear about!

I'm sure everything couldn't be covered in this short video, but a decent overview of the differences in denominations. We just need to be careful that our differences don't stem from an attitude found in 1 Corinthians 1:11-12. Some differences are so stark that it limits fellowship, and at the end of the day, someone has it wrong (in terms of some doctrinal differences). We definitely need to be in agreement on the essentials, but we need to prayerfully study the differences on secondary matters and put away our pride. Psalm 119:89 says, "For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven." In eternity, there will be no divisions or denominations; it would be wonderful if believers could get that settled here.

    • @2timothy23
      @2timothy23 3 роки тому

@R Treadwell True faith is in Jesus Christ and following the doctrines in scriptures. Notice in Acts 2:41-44 the three thousand that were saved continued in the apostles' doctrine and had fellowship. The key is studying your Bible, understanding it, and applying it, all for the glory of God. But since there are many doctrines to understand (the Bible is infinite in content), no denomination is perfect. Everyone has something wrong. In fact, we wouldn't have the New Testament epistles if every church was doing the right thing because most of those epistles are directed towards churches that were misunderstanding certain doctrines (like we do today). If they misunderstood doctrines then, we're going to misunderstand doctrines now.
If a denomination is teaching that you're saved by grace through faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), that are preaching the Word of God (2 Timothy 4:2), that are equipping the saints in sound doctrine for ministry/growth (Ephesians 4:11-16), and sending brethren out to proclaim the gospel (Romans 10:14-17), then it is a good starting point. You won't know how accurate a particular church is until you have sat under their preaching, checked their core set of beliefs (usually a statement of faith), and searched/study the scriptures yourself to see if it is true (the way Acts 17:11 and 2 Timothy 2:15 shows).
Denominations tend to think they are completely right about everything, but that is not true, but feel comfortable going to any church that has the essentials correct. We can't judge our faith on denominations, but how much that particular denominational church follows the scriptures. And that can't be done quickly because it takes time and discernment to know if that church is basically following doctrines or not. I know that is a quick answer, but there are so many dynamics to the question that a quick answer can only get you started. But it would be better to go into some of this then just naming a denomination and saying they have the true faith over another denomination; that would not be helpful at all.

Jesus argued with the Pharisees, his disciples argued among themselves, Paul argued with Peter (Galatians), Barnabas a split with Paul and "all of Asia" rejected Paul (after he spent years preaching there). Paul said anyone who didn't agree with "my gospel" was to be put out and not associated with. The New Testament is nothing but argument and conflict. There was never much love and unity. Once they had the Bible, Christians started burning 'heretics' at the stake. Religion and murder go hand in hand. I made you a video, ua-cam.com/video/z5HuegayCJc/v-deo.html, enjoy and review.

The fact is: Christianity is not a religion! It is a relationship!! It has nothing to do with rituals of any kind! That is the liberty that a born again believer has in Christ. If one is truly "born again" he understands why so much confusion! It is simply because the focus is on "what I can do" rather than "what Jesus Christ has already done". He died on the Cross for anyone who will humble accept His sacrifice as payment for sin! That fact changes everything,! Anyone today "whosoever will" shall be saved! True worship is not in a building made with hands; it is in Spirit and Truth! The Holy Spirit and the Truth of God's Holy Word! God will not bless our human efforts to please Him. He is pleased because we honor Him for what He has done; and then He works through us in the form of the Holy Spirit! I just have to say, "God is not the author of confusion'! If confusion exist, it is because, we are listening to a wrong voice! He Spirit brings peace; of mind and body!

Just read the bible asking for guidance from our Lord to show you the truth. Really really pray about it, trust me, prayer works. When you do read the bible, don't trust yourself at all! if you get stuck in a verse, look for answers online in what that scripture really means, I advise you to at least have 2-3 references. Young man, religion is useless if you come out of the church the same person as you were before you came in. Religion doesn't save nor change you, Jesus can, I've experienced it first hand when I got to learn about grace (that it's a free gift, and I don't have to work my way to receive it but by putting my faith in Jesus' death on the cross). I'm an ex-catholic, never did anything to my faith. Also, be careful of calvinism and lorship salvation, a lot of people I know that have already come out of the false teachings they teach, trust me, you don't want to get involved in those. In the bible it says the truth will set you free. If you do decide to be part of a religion ask yourself that question (are you free?) and also pay attention to the people around your church if they're christlike. Knowing/following the correct gospel of salvation is more crucial to know than following the practices of some religion. The truth exists! it answers almost everything there is to know about life. Each one's own spiritual walk is different, but I suggest you do yours with prayer so God can direct you to the correct path. Love

You can also say that it was written by God through men. If you are doubting the existence of God and want evidence, the existence of Jews and map in the Bible is your evidence. If you want historical evidence, there is a book called the book of Acts in the Bible where Jesus' disciples and followers went to different places to spread the gospel.

It's not complicated and the different denominations do not differ on salvation, or what would be termed "the essentials". He says as much in this video. The different denominations largely come from disagreement on governance and liturgy. They do not differ that your salvation is found in repenting of your sins and believing in Christ crucified. The only real split, as he once again addressed in the video, is between liberal theology and traditional theology. So you should ask yourself, does God's word need to be subjected to human reason? Or does human reason need to be subjected to God's word?
Salvation by grace: Do you accept that you are not a good person? Do you accept that your ways are evil? Do you accept that without God and the work Jesus did on the cross, that you are a child of wrath destined for hell?
Salvation through Christ alone: Do you believe that the blood of Jesus was enough to cover your sins-past, present, and future? Do you believe that salvation is found in no one else and that no one can come to the Father except through Christ?
The resurrection: Do you believe that Jesus Christ was resurrected? Do you believe that his resurrection is the promise and proof that he was who he said he was and that we too shall be resurrected in his name?
The deity of Christ: Do you believe that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God... and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth? (John 1:1,14)
Monotheism: Do you believe that there is only one God, and that this God is the king eternal of the universe? That you shall not have any other gods before Him?
The Trinity: Do you accept that God is a three-in-one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that while they are distinct persons, and serve different roles, they are the same God?
The Gospel: (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) For I have brought to you as of first importance, what I also received, that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures, the he was buried, that he was raised on the third day, in accordance with the scriptures. Be wary of a false gospel (Galatians 1:8-9)
If all these questions are a yes, then just pick a church that believes, preaches, and teaches these things and you'll be good. Find a place that challenges you, where you experience growth, and a place where you feel the presence of God. Stay away from a church who's sermons are motivational speeches, never convict you of your sins, and never call for repentence and acceptance of Christ. Doesn't matter what the denomination is

Without the knowledge, wisdom and authority of the Catholic Church they will continue to divide themselves based on their own personal whims and interpretation of the Holy Scriptures, Scriptures made possible by the Catholic Church. Simply Google where the Bible came from and you can see. Do Catholics worship Mary?(No)
Is Mary a Queen in the Bible?(Yes)
Catholics do not worship Mary and never have!! We honor her because she is the mother of Jesus. God himself honored Mary, by finding her worthy to be the mother of His only son. God sent the angel Gabriel to Mary to tell her: ‘Hail, Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with you. Do not be afraid Mary, for you have found favor with God. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus.’ Mary said ‘Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.’
The Hail Mary is in the Bible
Hail Mary full of Grace. Luke 1:28
The Lord is with thee. Luke 1:28
Blessed are though among women. Luke 1:42
And Blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus Luke 1:42
Holy Mary, mother of God. Luke 1:43
Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. James 5:16
(God calls Mary Blessed and full of grace)
Leviticus 26:11-13 “ And I will make my abode among you, and my soul shall not abhor you. And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you shall be my people. I am the LORD your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves; and I have broken the bars of your yoke and made you walk erect.
Isaiah 9:6 - “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called "Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
This teaches that Jesus Christ is God so Mary is the Mother of God!
Jesus honored his Mother because he followed the Commandments. 1 Corinthians 11:1 “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ”. Do you imitate Christ? Do you honor Mary, the Mother of God then?
In the Old Testament the mother’s in the Davidic Kingdom were always the queens, not the wives! (Who was that last King in the Davidic Line? Yes, Jesus!)
In Kings 2:19 “Then Bathsheba came to king Solomon, to speak to him for Adonias: and the king arose to meet her, and bowed to her, and sat down upon his throne: and a throne was set for the king’s mother, and she sat on his right hand.”
The Queen Mother has honor and influence with the king, but the king remains the final authority Jesus was the last King in the Davidic kingdom, his mother was his queen and this is what Catholics believe about Jesus, the King of Kings, and His mother Mary who he has “Crowned With 12 Stars” and made the “Queen of Heaven” in Rev 12:1-5 below.
1 “AND a great sign appeared in heaven: A woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
2 And being with child, she cried travailing in birth: and was in pain to be delivered.
3 And there was seen another sign in heaven. And behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns and on his heads seven diadems.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered: that, when she should be delivered, he might devour her son.
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with an iron rod. And her son was taken up to God and to his throne.”

We all need to put down the rocks, for a moment. I think that some of the trouble between Catholics and Protestants on this issue comes from the difference in our vocabulary. We are separated from each other now by 5 centuries. We don't understand each other half the time. So we should start by looking at words. Protestants, like myself, understand worship to include several different things. Singing is worship. Contributing money is worship. Paying attention to the sermon is an act of worship. Praying is an act of worship. Studying the Bible is an act of worship. Some Protestants even talk about worshipping God with their whole lives. (That would take us into a meditation on Romans 12:1.) Catholics use terms in a much more specific sense. A lot of things that Protestants consider worship, Catholics probably would not. Catholics speak of venerating Mary. By venerating, they mean that they are showing honor or respect. When Catholics pray to Mary, they really mean that they are asking Mary to pray for them. We all agree that Christians can ask other Christians to pray for them. Moreover, consider the relationship of King Solomon to his Mother in 1 Kings 2:20. When Catholics refer to Mary as the Mother of God they are not saying that Mary is the mother of the Trinity, but rather that she is the mother of the God-Man, Jesus. This is their way of affirming that Jesus was God even before he was conceived in the womb. There was a Christological Heresy in the early church. Some asserted that Jesus did not become divine until his baptism. Those who advocated this position said that Mary was the Christotokos (the bearer of the anointed one). Those who advocated that Jesus was God prior to his conception in Mary's womb said that Mary was the Theotokos (the bearer of God). That is still the term in the Eastern Church. I like that word a lot better because it doesn't confuse people. Protestants are really weirded out by the Hail Mary. They need to know that most of the text of that prayer is found in Luke 1. Finally, when Catholics refer to Mary as the "Queen of Heaven" they need to know that Protestants immediately think of the pagan goddess referred to in Jeremiah 7:18 & 44:15-18. On the other hand. Protestants need to know that Catholics aren't thinking about that, they are just referencing a vision found in Revelation 12. Honestly, I wish Catholics would cut that "Queen of Heaven" stuff out because it sounds pagan and it's terrible for ecumenical dialogue! Badly chosen though this title may be, it's important that Protestants understand that Catholics are not talking about Astarte or Isis. If you are a Catholic, take the time to pray for your Protestant friends. If you are a Protestant, take the time to pray for your Catholic friends. If you are Orthodox, pray for both of us about 40 times each. And remember, whether you are Catholic, Protestant, or Orthodox we are all united in the knowledge that Jesus is Lord and that Epstein didn't kill himself.

This is a no brainer , the reason there are countless denominations or separate group of Christians is because people have a mind of their own. Even if it goes against Gods plan. Jesus gave one Church and one Shepard to lead his Church, people have free choice and decided different.

To all my protestant brothers and sisters. How do you know the 27 books of the New Testament are inspired, inerrant and divinely authored through the inspiration of the Holy Ghost? Why these 27 books and not some others. There were 23 "gospels" that were written. Why and who picked the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John? Mark and Luke were not apostles. Can any of you offer a definitive answer to this question? How do you know that the collection of books called the Bible are the correct books that should be called Scripture?

Good video, but there are a couple more distinctions that would help explain the different Protestant denominations:
First, the distinction between Calvinist and Arminian Soteriology.
Second, how services are conducted under the Normative and Regulative Principles of Worship: formal liturgy, traditional hymns, contemporary praise bands, etc., and how the Principles' hermeneutic extends to use of images in churches.
Third, the major Eucharistic theologies: Memorialism, Spiritual Presence, Sacramental Union, Consubstantiation, Transubstantiation, etc.
Fourth, the Eschatological positions: Historical Premillennialism, Dispensational Premillennialism, Postmillennialism, and Amillennialism.
Finally, and most importantly, the sufficiency of Scripture: to what extent does a denomination adhere to a commitment to Sola Scriptura, and what that commitment looks like when contrasted against "tradition." Are Scripture and Tradition equal (Catholicism)? Is Reason a third element to the equation (Anglicanism)? Is Scripture part of Tradition (Eastern Orthodoxy)? If Scripture is the only infallible authority, to what degree does a particular tradition dominate exegesis? Should the church's own historical interpretations be trusted over the study of present-day believers?
Additionally, it may be worthwhile to point out "churches" that present as Christian but fall outside the orthodox definition: Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, etc.

I was born and raised in a very strict Southern Baptist family but sent to school in an Assemblies of God school(the Baptist private school cost more, got to be practical, wink, wink, nudge, nudge!) I hear there are between 25,000 - 40,006 Protestant denominations. Each one supposedly leads to God, but the others don't. Which one? It sounds like chaos to me. So I went to my own Bible, a Protestant Bible, and ended up converting to the Catholic Church. I wasn't the only one, there are lots of former Protestants converting.

I have had a hard time with a lot of denominations and people because I always try to measure everything against scripture and have realized how led astray most Christians are. I have Catholic friends that I’ve tried to talk to to understand their beliefs but I suspect they just call themselves Catholic and I never get a detailed response. If you guys don’t mind me asking, what specifically changed your mind and caused you to become Catholic?

@@mckenziebostick7501 I was studying to be a history professor. I've always had a deep draw on historical facts. I started researching the origins of the Bible. I found that it was the Catholic Church that we can thank for the Bible even existing. I then did exhaustive research on Martin Luther and found he was not the type of person I would think God would choose to guard His word. Look up the true history of Martin Luther here on YT, it will alarm you. All 40,006 protestant denominations use some version of Luther's "bible."
One of the points made to me by a Catholic teacher was Protestantism is egocentric, not Deocentric. The protestant says "God, I want a relationship with you, and here are MY conditions." He drives around until he finds a church that agrees with his convictions. In Catholicism, God says" I want a relationship with you, and here are MY conditions."

      @daddysschoolbus314 4 роки тому

@@dot2562 With all due respect, i considered replying some 19hrs ago to your response but refrained. However, allow me this parting shot. First, Christ is not divided and neither are the SCRIPTURES. For many, the writings of the Apostle Paul are often hard to understand and as a result, the Apostle Peter in speaking of his fellow co- labourer says in "2 Peter 3:16
[16]As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction." Such twisting of the scriptures and spewing of false doctrines have become commonplace and is nothing new.
The Apostle Paul has on many occasion clearly and emphatically stated that he affirm and support the premise, teaching and understanding of the Law. Hence he declares in
      Romans 3:30-31
[30]Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
[31]Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law."
For some this is not clear. But it is ABUNDANTLY clear and speak volumes.
However, PAUL may seem to be talking from both sides of his mouth, especially when other Epistles are considered, but he isn't double talking.
One must understand what aspect of the Law is "done away with" or fullfilled when speaking in regards to the " fulfillment of the law." It is the Law of Ordinances that were written against the people of ISRAEL, that being the sacrificial law that is being spoken of. Have you read the book of Hebrews?? Have you yet to see that CHRIST is the perfect sacrifice??
He is a better SACRIFICE and a better PRIEST, so much so that he is not even from the tribe of Levi but of Judah (see Heb 7:14).
What many of you "theologians" and lay preachers seem to miss is that salvation is of the Law and of Faith. It is Faith (evidence or proof) and Law (obedience to the covenant, i.e TORAH), demonstrated by one's conduct and lifestyle that makes certain one's salvation.
      Deuteronomy 6:24-25
[24]And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
[25]And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us."
Did you catch that........"it shall be OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS" IF we DO THEM.
      YES, that's what is says.
Likewise FAITH require proof. You must do something more than just believe, because even the devils believe and tremble (James 2:19).
Thus, "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
[18]Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works."
Quite frankly, i am not the one to convince any as it is the work of the Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit) to conform the called out ekklesia to the TRUTH and WORD of the Most High YAH.
I'm not sure if this helps, but I'm hoping it does.
Therefore, this is the last of my response to any UA-cam video thread as the FATHER has instructed in His Word to avoid these contentious debates.

problem you run into now is that they both have watered down things so much that it has become a "g"od of love. Instead a "G"od who loves us enough to send Christ to die on the Cross to save us. Ex: if a greek speaker began to speak in arabic without knowing arabic. Tongues is not an "angelic language." The sign and tongue gifts stopped at the end of the apostolic age as described in Hebrews 1:1-2. For argument sake let's say that the jibberish coming out a mans mouth is him speaking in tongues, and another man is there and interprets what he is saying, then if what he is saying is from God, then he is speaking new revelation from God and it has the exact same weight and authority of the written word of God, the Bible. The Bible is a closed canon of scripture, period. No new revelation will be given to man as Hebrews 1:1-2 says, and God has given us His word, the bible, to guide us until His return. God's word is completely inspired, inerrant, infallible, and sufficient.

Yes. There is supposed to be only one New Covenant Church of Jesus Christ. Paul warned against divisions (denominations) in chapter 1 of his first letter to the Corinthians. Take some time to look at the New Covenant fulfilled by Christ's blood at Calvary. The following should help you get started. I wish someone had given me this when I first became a believer. It makes the whole Bible a book about Christ.
      New Covenant Whole Gospel:
Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him.
He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14.
      Awaken Church to this truth.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
Watch the UA-cam video “The New Covenant” by Bob George.
      ================
Which baptism is a part of the salvation process, based on what the Bible says?
      What did Peter say below?
Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water when they read the word "baptize" in the text. Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage?
Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
      Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
      Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
      “baptize” KJV
Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Mar_1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
      Joh_1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
Joh_1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
1Co_1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

      Look up the Orthodox Church.
You will find they claim to hold to the same faith without change from the beginning. They practice the same worship from the early church, even using hymns that are like 1800 years old. They follow the same practices of baptism, fasting, and prayer that are documented from the early church. And lastly, these are where you find the original churches and Christians mentioned in the Bible. For example, I go to a church who's leadership is found in Antioch and goes back in an unbroken line to its founding in the book of Acts. The same place where followers of Christ were first called Christians.
If anybody has a valid claim to just be "Christians" that is the first place to look.

There are differences in emphasis in terms of ideas and practices, which are largely due to historical disagreements. These days, many of the denominations or 'traditions' seek to learn from each other and often recognise the validity of each other. Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran etc all have great elements and are worth checking out. The important aspects for all of them are being part of a community, encountering Jesus and responding to that in your life/decisions/relationships with the wider world. A good place to start with the Bible would be the Gospel of Mark. It's clear, a good piece of literary prose and relatively short :)

They preached repentance, trust in Jesus, and to be guided by the Holy Spirit. There is no condemnation to those that walk in the Spirit! brothacarllovesjesus The new covenant righteousness relies solely on faith in Jesus Christ, Jesus sends His Spirit to pour out His love in our hearts, we are to be the hands and feet of Jesus. If you love God and man you have fulfilled all the law. The new covenant law of love surpasses the Ten Commandments. Love says to look at a woman with lust in your heart is adultery, to think evil of a brother is murder, to tell the truth always oath not required. If you are trying to gain righteousness by following the mosaic law you have fallen from grace. I should have worded it differently but love for one another is the only point that the countless denominations could unify around. If people only go to heaven based on only what You or I believe, there won’t be very many in heaven. Unity will only be through God’s people exercising God’s love to one another.

@@fredc61 How is Faith in Jesus Christ demonstrated?
      By Obeying Jesus Christ.
That is your Eternal Salvation without it you will perish.
      And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
      Hebrews 5:9.
Many say they have Faith in Jesus Christ.
But Faith without works is dead.
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
      James 2:20-22
Many say they Love Jesus Christ.
But Jesus Christ says if you Love me you will keep my commandments.
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
      John 14:15
The works that the Pope and his Catholic Religion had folks doing was dead works.
Doing Penance and all that nonsense is not the works of faith.
So when the reformers had enough they crossed out in their doctrine anything that even sounds like works and made salvation completely,
      "Faith in Jesus Christ Alone"
Going from one extreme to the other.
None of it is Sound Doctrine.
      1. We are ordained (ordered) unto Good Works - Ephesians 2:10
      2. We work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.- Philippians 2:12
      3. Jesus Christ said, [ In John 9:4 ] I must work the works of him that sent me while it is day, night cometh and no man can work. (Do whatever your hands find to do and do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus while you are in the land of the living - Colossians 3:17
Because once you die, you can't do nothing but wait for judgement). - Hebrews 9:27
      4. Everybody that wants salvation from the Bible days until today ask the same question:
"Men and brethren what shall we do?"
Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.- Acts 2:38
      A. The men knew they had to do something not just sit around and say, "I have faith", "I believe in Jesus Christ", "I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour."
      What?!
      That ain't salvation.
They put their Faith to work.
      B. They were baptized about 3,000 in all, so they had faith in the Words of the Preacher, then their faith was demonstration in action (works) resulting in Obedience to God. - Acts 2:41
The same with the Philippian Jailor.
"Sirs, what must I DO to be saved?"
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. - Acts 16:30, 31
      Question?
How do we know the Philippian Jailor and his house believed. (Had Faith in Jesus).
They were Baptized. He and all his (His House).
And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.
      Acts 16:33
Faith with works makes faith perfect.
Jesus Christ said, "Be ye therefore perfect as your father in heaven is perfect. - Matthew 5:48
That's how you do it faith with works makes faith perfect. - James 2:22
Look at the most misused Scripture by the New Age Theologians.
      Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
      Romans 10:9
Yet, you cannot BE SAVED until you GET SAVED.
Did the folks being addressed in Romans 10:9 get saved already?
      Yes.
      How do we know?
The Apostle Paul was talking to the saints in Rome in his letter in Romans 10:9
      How do we know?
      Romans 1:7
To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
      Romans 1:7
How do we know they got saved?
      Romans 6:3, 4 and Romans 8:15, 16
Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
      Romans 6:3, 4
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
      Romans 8:15, 16
So the letter in Romans 10:9 which is talking about the Word of Faith is addressing folks that,
Already been to the water in baptism so they already been baptized.
And they Already received the Holy Ghost.
(This is the work of faith).
Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
      2 Thessalonians 1:11
So the Apostle Paul is telling the folks that already been baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost how to BE SAVED in Romans 10:9
Later, in other Epistles (letters) He will tell them in Corinthians "How to STAY SAVED"
In Galatians "How to LIVED SAVED" and in Ephesians , "How to GET OTHERS SAVED !"
But you ain't going to BE SAVED, STAY SAVED, LIVE SAVED, OR GET OTHERS SAVED.
Until you obey Acts 2:38-40 and GET SAVED YOURSELF.
And that takes the "Work of Faith"
What the reformers doctrine that has crept into Holiness wants to deny is accountability. - Jude 1:4
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
      Romans 14:12
If a man has faith his works will prove it:
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.
      James 2:17, 18
Jesus Christ preached from the Ten Commandments telling us if we want to enter life (The question was how may I have eternal life).
And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. 18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
      Matthew 19:17-19
So keeping the commandments will give you eternal life.
      Why?
Because Jesus Christ came not with Grace and Truth to destroy the Law and Prophets but to fulfill them. - Matthew 5:17
Keeping the commandments proves you love Jesus Christ - John 14:15
Your Faith in JESUS CHRIST is the reason you have Power to Keep the Commandments.
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
      John 14:23, 24
When you don't keep his commandments then you DON"T LOVE JESUS.
Why are you calling him Lord, Lord?
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
      Luke 6:46
Work out your own salvation by casting off the works of darkness, put on Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh - Romans 13:12-14
Come out of your sins and leave them alone.
Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
      John 5:14
For those who have not got saved yet.
Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you will receive the Holy Ghost. - Acts 2:38
To those who have already been to the water in baptism in the name of Jesus Christ.
BE SAVED, STAY SAVED, LIVE SAVED, AND HELP OTHERS TO GET SAVED, STAY SAVED AND LIVE SAVED.
Learn Christ Jesus - Matthew 11:29
and only speak Sound Doctrine for the Holy Scriptures.
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
      Titus 2:1

Denominations are in fact divisions in the Church. In the 17th chapter in the Gospel of John, it was the prayer of Jesus that His followers would have unity. Unity is anything but what the Church is today. If we were honest and wanted to learn from our mistakes, we would find that denominations are the result of church members not following God's instruction for the New Testament Church.
For example; In the first chapter in the Book of Titus and the 3rd chapter in the Book of 1Timothy, God gives His followers instructions for choosing a leader to oversee their church. I have yet to find a church that treats these commands as authoritative! Churches today may say they believe the Bible but are actually built upon the personality of the pastor. The truth is, today's Christians are led to believe that because we are saved by grace, God does not expect us to obey Him. Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice." If this is true, I am afraid most Christians are not Christ's sheep? Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

      Jeff Winter,
In the Bible a repetitive pattern occurs, Truth > Reject Christ and Prophets/Apostles > Apostasy & False Doctrine > Restoration of Truth > Truth, and this cycle repeats again and again.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I believe once the ancient people rejected and killed the Apostles the people walked into apostasy and false doctrine again.
The ancients were never able to endure truth without the help of prophets or apostles so I don't believe today's people don't need help of prophets and apostles.
We believe Christ's Church was lost to the Great Apostasy completed by the council of Nicaea, and took approximately 1500 years to restore.
It's thanks to people like Martin Luther and others who protested against the corrupted ancient Roman Emperors in historical time to gain access to the scriptures.
Once people gained access they began building churches and teaching doctrines based on their own interpretation of the Bible even though the Bible strictly teaches the Lord's Church is founded upon apostles and prophets.
In the 19th century when people became full of Christian excitement, we call the second great awakening for the gathering of Israel and restoration of the truth.
I believe Christ restored the priesthood of God and the fullness of the gospel through the Prophet Joseph Smith.
The Book of Mormon is in harmony with the Bible, both giving the same teachings and resolves the debates about the Bible.
      Has it ever wondered you why the Bible stopped increasing? Here's why;
      2 Tim 4:3-4
      3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
      Then look what The Book of Mormon teaches;
      2 Nephi 28:8-9
8 And there shall also be many which shall say: Eat, drink, and be merry; nevertheless, fear God-he will justify in committing a little sin; yea, lie a little, take the advantage of one because of his words, dig a pit for thy neighbor; there is no harm in this; and do all these things, for tomorrow we die; and if it so be that we are guilty, God will beat us with a few stripes, and at last we shall be saved in the kingdom of God.
9 Yea, and there shall be many which shall teach after this manner, false and vain and foolish doctrines, and shall be puffed up in their hearts, and shall seek deep to hide their counsels from the Lord; and their works shall be in the dark.
If you have any questions about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, just ask.
      Mormon 9:7-9
      7 And again I speak unto you who deny the revelations of God, and say that they are done away, that there are no revelations, nor prophecies, nor gifts, nor healing, nor speaking with tongues, and the interpretation of tongues;
8 Behold I say unto you, he that denieth these things knoweth not the gospel of Christ; yea, he has not read the scriptures; if so, he does not understand them.
9 For do we not read that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and in him there is no variableness neither shadow of changing?

I testify that Daniel's Testimony is true. The Apostacy really occurred. Which is why there are so many churches today who claim to be of Christ but are not of Him. Well did Isaiah Prophesy, "They draw near unto me with their lips but their hearts are far from me, They teach for commandments the doctrine of men"! Paul prophesied of a falling away in 2nd Theselonians that would occur BEFORE Christ returned at his second coming. Well did Isaiah prophecy, "The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left". I including this last verse to provide context as to timeframe. Isaiah is speaking of a universal rejection of truth that will culminate in the destruction of the wicked by fire at the second coming of Christ. He speaks of the distorted performance of ordinances such as baptism by immersion giving way to infant baptism. He speaks of the breaking of laws contained in the 10 commandments given to Moses as early "wolves in sheeps clothing" began to introduce Idolatry, graven images and perverted doctrines such as immaculate conception, purgatory and indulgences. God has again revealed himself from Heaven to man and called a Prophet who was unadulterated with the pagan beliefs of the day. Like David, Saul, Eli and many others of the Prophets he was called in his youth. A child is teachable and more malleable. These are the Lords words to Joesph Smith when he besought the lord in prayer to know which of the many Churches in his day were true, and which he should join.
"When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other-This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!
18 My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)-and which I should join.
19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.”
20 He again forbade me to join with any of them; and many other things did he say unto me, which I cannot write at this time". Joesph Smith was a Prophet. He was CHOSEN by God personally to RESTORE THE ANCIENT CHURCH that had fallen away. We are led by a Modern day Moses through our Metephoracle Red Sea and are gathering scattered Isreal. Come Brother and Join the sheep of Isreal as we follow the true Shepherd and not only worship Him in Spirit but also in TRUTH!

The issue is that most people are mostly right, and then there are a few churches that preach heresy and we cannot be a part of it. I used to hate denominations and saw them as pointless and divisive. Now, I have begun to appreciate them. A denomination gives clarity to what a local church believes. It gives accountability to what the local church preaches. And a denomination supports pastors, especially of new churches. I grew up in a non-denominational church, but now I find a draw to the denominations for those reasons. As well, tradition. Like church tradition is now evil. The apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 12:5 talks about there being many ways of serving God. It's not about one denomination being right because they're not in competition for who's right although people argue for who's right, but follow the true God of the Holy Bible. Not the God that the Evangelicals, Catholics, Pentecostals, Baptists talk about, but of the God and Jesus and Holy Spirit that the Bible talks about. When Jesus asked his disciples Who do people say I am? They answered "many people say you are a prophet, Elijah, John the Baptist." Then he asks "who do you say I am?" They knew who He was because they left everything behind to know Him and follow Him, and they knew who He really was, so they said "You are the Messiah." My answer to you is just focus on your relationship with Jesus so you can really know Him and don't worry about which denomination is true. In the end a denomination or church or organization won't save us. Only Jesus will.
