Saw this and agree with it Genesis 29:9 “While he was still speaking with them, Rachel came with her father’s sheep, for she was a shepherdess.”
Rachel watched over the sheep to make sure they were watered, fed, and safe. This job was usually for men only! God makes exceptions. He does what He wants.
Mary Magdalene was the first female preacher who gave the good news. Luke 24:9. If women had to be silent in the church then why would a all knowing God have these women preach the good news of His resurrection? God is not confused. People are in a state of religion. We must study to show yourself approved by God. Paul was writing a letter to a Pastor of a church that had a previous problem. The woman at the well also preached. John 4:39 Huldah 2kings 22:21-20 she not in instructed men but men sought her out to hear from the Lord. Again, you cannot put God in a box. He will always do what he wants. As long as the person is submitted to God and does His will, he can use anyone. Esther was a Queen and was used in a co-governing roll along side her husband. Deborah also was a prophetess and Judge and the kingdom did not move to war without her Word. She was led by God. Many woman are led by God. And many are not and God will judge them. Just as many men are led by God and many are not and God will judge them also.
prophet Joel saying, “‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy'” (Acts 2:17-18).
A woman must submit to her own husband. And her husband is the head of her. If the husband is a Pastor and allows her to help him and Shepperd the women. That is not anyones choice, but the husband. Also is safer in some instances for a shepperdess to deciple other women instead of the husband having one on one time with other women. Many legalistic Pastors have fallen like this. I encourage everyone to read their Bible in the Spirit and let God lead. No name calling only GRACE AND TRUTH.

@@brandibee7058 lol I know you want it to be true but that's not so. Rachel was at the well for a reason not because God was trying to tell you that woman could be pastors. She was there to meet Jacob so he could become his wife. Mary magdalene didn't not preach the Gospel she was told to tell the disciples he was risen and guess what? they didn't believe her. The bible is clear cut and dry on this issue. The woman at the well just told them to come see a man whole told her all about here life and the people believed Jesus not off of what she said but because they talk to him themselves.

Not really clear actually. The same "qualification" is said of deacons and yet Phoebe was called a deacon. The words have very general meanings in the Greek as to a role. Because of this seeming inconsistency we should study this more rather than just citing one verse.

      Corinthians 14:34-36 (KJV)
34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
36 What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?
      1 Corinthians 14:34
Life For Today Study Bible Notes
Note 22 at 1 Corinthians 14:34: Most commentators believe this is a reference to Genesis 3:16, which states, “Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.”
      1 Corinthians 14:35
Life For Today Study Bible Notes
Note 23 at 1 Corinthians 14:35: The command for the women to be under obedience (1 Corinthians 14:34) implies that the object of their obedience is to be their husbands (this verse). It might be better stated by saying, “The women must be submissive to their own husbands.”
      1 Corinthians 14:36
Life For Today Study Bible Notes
Note 24 at 1 Corinthians 14:36: It is possible that this passage may be saying the very opposite of what it seems to be saying. For example, Paul had already stated in 1 Corinthians 11:5 that women pray and prophesy in the church, so he was not forbidding women from speaking in the church altogether. Some think that Paul was addressing a particular problem of someone being disruptive by noisy discussions in the church. This may possibly be true, but by looking at the context, you can see that Paul was asking a question. This question could be paraphrased something like this: “Women are not to speak in the church. What? Hey guys, do you think that the Word of God originates only with you? Does it come forth only from you?”

My friends, I believe the Word is crystal clear on the issue of female pastors and even female deacons in church. To say otherwise is to try to please the feminist, left wing mania that is sweeping the world.
There are sooo many verses that are clear about women in the church.
Let us also be gentle with each other concerning all issues. Sometimes I have been right about something, but have been self-righteous and arrogant about it. I must avoid this.
I also want to add that men in leadership never means they're allowed to be toxic or tyrannical. We've seen too many men do this.
May God richly bless you all!

That's not correct. First of all Paul was a Rabbi and the Eastern/Jewish practise they had what was called responders, there are questions in this case to Paul and Paul would respond to them.
Paul would read out these questions, which in the text sound like statements.
One example is 1 Cor 7:1 you shall not touch a woman - this should read, should we touch a woman?
Well if it's a statement we're sure in trouble as no babies would be born from then on.
that's a question given to Paul and in v 2 Paul answers it saying to marry.
Ok you can look it up for yourself.
then in greek man/husband has only one word 'aner' and for women/wife its 'gyne' so without proper context we don't know who he's talking about.
At times he's addressing all women and at others wives, yet we can clearly see in 2 places it's a couple, as it says go to your husband at home and ask him and then elsewhere, says Adam and Eve, this is the context, yet was it question or statement.
Even Timothy said Paul's teaching was difficult, did Paul read out a question? was he saying it, because of the error at that time. Either way it was not a new law. How is it then we have women teaching both in missionaries and sunday school, that's a gift or call to teach is it not?
To usurp over a man is a stronger word It's akin to manipulating him which happens in marriage, that would be wrong.
I'm still studying this, but i don't believe it's saying a woman can teach.
God called 10 men to lead and they refused, so because cathrin cooman responded God used her as she was prepared to obey. Paul also gives unusual teaching of men covering their heads, which is confusing going by other things, so when we say it's clear, it really is not when other factors are involved.
There were women deacons and helpers in the faith. I was personally taught by a woman and it was the call and gift to teach without a dought. So this needs more study.

I knew God by studying the Old Testament and He emphatically says of Himself, "I am God, I change not!" So when I now read the New Testament, I do not misunderstand God's grace. I take into consideration that God is both an intensely loving God and a consuming fire!!! Both sides of God need to be understood in order not to "create a god in our own image" and call it the God of the Bible for then we deceive ourselves per 2 Timothy 4:3-4

    Here's a breakdown of Andrew's unbiblical interpretation:
#1) Andrew claims that the 1 Timothy Passage has the definite article "the". But that's actually not what the Greek says, hence why Andrew is reading from some English translation and not from the greek. In truth, there is no definite article "the", so the correct way of reading it is "I do not permit a woman to teach or have authority over man", then Paul continues explaining how this is a universal principle. Also Andrew says the word mean "usurp" authority, but in reality it does not say usurp but exercise in the greek.
#2) Andrew claims the Law doesn't lay this out when if fact it does ( Genesis 2:18; Genesis 3:16; 1 Peter 3:1)
#3) Andrew equates being a prophetess to that of a leadership position, when there's nowhere in Scripture that says this. He uses Deborah, saying she "went out and lead a war" when in fact she only went to encourage Barak to lead the war.
#4) Andrew says that the phrase "husband of one wife" could really be meant for women too, but that is not the case in Greek grammar structure. In this case, the greek more accurately renders this "a one woman kind of man". This is very specific for men, not a general application for humans.
Here again we see Andrew completely revealing how little he knows on some of these types of things and the reason he really shouldn't be viewed at as a serious source of scholarship or authority on interpreting biblical text.

Genesis 3:16 is punishment eve and every woman under original sin received. A woman is not supposed to be ruled by a man or for her desire to be to her husband. Does a woman keep silent if the Lord tells her to expound scripture to a lost man, and just let him remain lost? That does not make sense, especially when God does not reside in a building and we, the body, are the church. "The older women should teach the younger... (Titus 2:4-6)." He makes no provision for them to teach men, not just her husband. Notice who Paul says they should teach, or disciple - other younger women. He restricts it to women. See also requirements for elders - always directed to men. And why do women want to teach men, anyway? What is so thrilling about that? Being a prophetess does not mean they disciple men. Not sure why Bro. Andrew makes that connection. Notice also that Jesus had no female apostles, and Jesus often bucked the religious system of his day. If anyone wanted to make changes, it would have been him. Can she share the Gospel? You bet. Can she teach her male children? Yes. Scripture is clear on this (see Proverbs). But to disciple a man in spiritual authority is a man's job.

I'm a very talkative person and by the grace of God, I am spiritually inclined to the word of god... I think it is emotionally and spiritually better for a woman like me to be single missionaries than be involved with a church, much of this argument will cease, if you feel like "silence" is against what you feel like God has gifted you with in terms of the urging within you to teach others, either opt for a woman's only congregation or sell yourself to the Lord and take a decision not to marry and go for fulltime missionary work... both of these are according to the will of God and doesn't contradict the word of God and i have learned through experiencr that it will provide you with no room to feel offended in any way of any men in the church... many women find more solace in women only atmospheres where everyone is equally seen and treated within the boundaries of the bible and aren't emotionally scarred by men out of the will of God, there is very little room for unwanted discrimination and there is much more focus toward God and his individualistic plan for each woman in relation to the kingdom... Paul says it is better for women not to marry and so to focus all she is to the Lord and not anyone else in this world, there is reason for that, she won't have room in her life to worry about her traditional role in worldly terms as a woman, and only room for her role as a disciple of God in the kingdom of Heaven, completely sold out for God's purpose... that's a much more satisfying, self dying way of living, giving no room for bitterness or resentment toward the opposite gender and how they live their lives... if every Christian were single and completely sold out to the Lord, the kingdom would have seen a drastically rapid expansion that's for sure the only downside is procreation though... so in the end, to each to his own, even though staying single is the most effective way you can completely act out your individualistic plan in the kingdom and serving all his people...

Andrew Womack is of "the strange fire" further outs than the gospel believing Gideon Distribution supporting Pentacostals even though he may come across as a calm demeanored home town Texas born & raised "good ol' boy". By the company these false teachers keep; is what they is. On this of many issues that Andrew is stating; he's coming from the wrong approach (questionable motives). Recently I heard a YT messaage from Sandra Ritcher, titled "Women In Ministry", and I think (yeah we have thoughts); Sandra said (and maybe this can be further researched) that a reason that Paul wrote what he wrote had something pertaining to that the Judiazers were promoting women that were already of heresy into the Galation church that already had issues with homogenization (I'm paraphrasing what she said for lack of my quoting her verbatim). Andrew has heard wise advice so many times from people like Justin Peters and what you seem to be getting at which if I understand you a little right, it's "hey, Andrew, how about obeying closer to the intent of the word rahther than further away from. Andrew responds again and again by saying, "but I'm flying (even though the speed he's going is 32 feet per second per second). Good results don't just happen when the approach is clearly not "being careful how one "builds" on what THE Chief Cornerstone started. What Andrew is advocating again and again gets all "loosey goosey" like how the Galations were about to if they didn't heed what Paul was writing to them. Gets me in the getter that he keeps following the same ol' same ol' wolf track ways like Kenneth Copeland and Gloria Copeland have about the similar approach regarding women speaking. There's still hope for Andrew as long as his heart is still beating, but check out some of the teachings of the students that have been through "Andrew Womack Ministries" and his ways and means are getting worse instead of better. There is an issue; sure women should be an effectual members of the body of Christ. I got my arm twisted into becoming a County Chaplain, and we have situation where I haven't yet seen pat answers so much be effectual when it comes to having church meetings in the women's jails, but I'm not all that much in the know in that environment.

Paul's comments about women not speaking in church was addressed to married women only. It is the traditions and doctrines of men who have conflated that one scripture into keeping women from full participation in the church. Harmonized scripture shows absolutely that Christ intended women to teach and support the church - including teaching men. It seems to me that the men who complain most about female teaching are not able to mount successful counters to them because they would rather blame women than lead, which is what they are supposed to be doing. And by forcing a "lesser" role on unmarried women, they have cut the church off from the energy, love and support from many of God's children who happen to be daughters! The church is exactly where it is today because men won't lead properly and they discourage women from full participation - due entirely to their own traditions and doctrines, much like the Pharisees.

    Qualifications for Overseers
1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. 2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; 5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) 6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
I wonder why we try soo hard to twist the Word of God to fit our own agendas.
Since when did he must be of one wife became she must be of one husband? Woman can be and do anything but not to have AUTHORITY over a man as it was and has been from the beginning of creation. Our families and the world will function better if we get to know our duties

We have known for a while what the word actually means because we have found texts that speak to how it was used in that Day.
Paul also never used that specific word when referring to Church authority - it's a word that only appears 1 time in the entire Bible.

Why not also say that the 2 guys who have been together for 50 years make a good marriage because they've stood the test of time? God says one woman one man: that's the standard. Nearly everyone went to church somewhere..( I’m not saying everyone was saved or going to a Biblical based church) You get my drift. Most everything was shut down on Sundays. It was the Lords day, and EVERYONE knew it. Churches got together and had fellowship and were like minded. Over my lifetime I have watched the world infiltrate the church and Satan is laughing up his sleeve. This topic was never an issue when I was a little boy. Everyone knew the role of a man and a woman and it was not in question. In today’s society men want to be women, and women want to be men. Very twisted and completely contrary to the word of God. This passage of scripture is not talking about husband and wives, it's talking about men and women in general. This guy is literally not interpreting the scripture correctly. Why do many people commenting on here think that if a woman teaches anyone that she is suddenly exercising authority over them? This is not the same thing as the office of the Pastor. When a man teaches another man, does it give him authority over that man? Of course not. It is the same when a woman teaches a man (or another woman) and nowhere in the scripture does it say she cannot teach a man. Teaching has nothing to do with having authority over another human being. It is a gift of the Holy Spirit and is meant to equip, to edify and to impart. We need to drop that authoritarian definition of teaching. It is messing up our theology and causing division in the church. In Acts 18, Priscilla and Aquila taught Apollos, a man. Priscilla was a woman and Paul had no issues with her teaching a man so why do we continue to condemn women teachers in the body of Christ? And 1 Timothy 2:11-12 is dealing with a specific situation that Timothy was dealing with at the church in Ephesus. It was not meant to be a directive for all women for all time. How do I know that? Because we know from other scriptures that Phillip had several unmarried daughters that prophesied (this is not a quiet activity). We also know that other women prayed and prophesied when men were present based on 1 Cor 11:5. We also know that women received the baptism of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost right along with the men. What was the purpose of this baptism? To be imbued with power to be Jesus' witnesses in the earth. Therefore, we know that there are multiple examples of women not only being present in the public gatherings but they were exercising their gifts of ministry too. Why are we so threatened by women using their gifts? We seem to forget that the early church was going through a great time of transition. Think about how hard it is for any of us to accept change. Imagine what it was like for them in a culture where women were purposefully kept ignorant and yet Jesus allowed them to sit at His feet and learn.

Mejor Toler, This was before the Word of God was written and people were taught to read and write. Once The Word of God was put into a form where people could carry it with them, like a soldier takes the New Testament into war with her or him today where it was not possible at the time. Men have been saved at the Preaching of the Word by Women. Remember, that Jesus comes back for His Bride and that is female in context, just as He told the story of the 5 females who had their lampstands ready. It was not men who had their lampstands ready, but females that He describes. It's sad that women will outnumber men in heaven, because men are so worried about being evil before being pure.

Paul's prohibiting of women teaching men is found in his instructions for the church. Not going back to Adam and Eve. And his other instruction is that an Elder, which is teacher, is to be the husband of one wife. That negates a woman being a teacher.
You can't comare women prophets as being the same as teachers. Paul clearly makes a distinction between the two.
    Ephesians 4:11-16
    And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
It's amazing how there is such a never ending amount of these apostate teachers tickling the ears of those that need justification for rejecting certain Scriptures. The more ears that are tickled, the more money that comes into their pockets.

It is hard for me to use the liberating words of the bible to oppress people from Godly leadership, wisdom and authority. Reading the New Testament Jesus spoke out against people who were using the Law of Moses to shackle people just as Jesus rebuked sin. I have to ask my self by using scripture to quiet the voices and to oppress the spirits of God seeking hearts in our churches are we making the same mistakes as the leaders of the Law in the time of Jesus? Are we missing the message that was right there all along to rather preach a controlling legalistic message that can make sense if we simply read the words on the page?
Also I do not want to put words in your mouth but the comment at the end, do you stand in the belief that the KJV is the interpretation that we should hold above all others? (english speaking of course, I know we'd both would advocate for original greek and hebrew :) ) If you do I'd love to hear your reasoning (no sarcasm) I'm very interested and appreciative of hearing and understanding where people come from and how they got there! I love discussing thoughts and theology with others even if it is on the internet where we see more vile thoughts and opinions then we do genuine curiosity and conversation. You absolutely don't know what you are talking about.
      1 Corinthians 14:29-32
“Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. 30And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop. 31For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged. 32The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.”
      2 Things here:
“Two or three prophets should speak” - 1 Cor 14:29
“And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop - σιγάτω (sigatō) - .” - 1 Cor 14:30
The word here also is the same as the others - σιγάτω (sigatō).
      Today’s Application
The point here is also, there are very strict instructions for Prophets to dicern what other Prophets are saying - I’ve not seen very many “Prophets” interpreting one another. But the bigger point here is that if Prophets and those speaking in tongues have this type of restriction - how much more of a restriction to everyday men have? No one is to be disruptive.
      Women
      1 Corinthians 14:34
34Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak - σιγάτω (sigatō) -, but must be in submission, as the law says. 35If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak - σιγάτω (sigatō) - in the church.
      Today’s Application
Now, when looking at each of these cases before, people speak in tongues all the time and over each other, if someone is an actual prophet, I’ve not seen other prophets to interpret that word right there - and the number limitations for each of these are strict. Are these followed? No, and we all know they aren’t. Even within this particular verse - are women actually forbidden from speaking in Churches? Wouldn’t it be disgraceful for us to allow that any where? But how many churches do you know that actually don’t allow women to speak at all as this verse says?
So here we get to the meat of this particular issue, and I am going to bring several, Biblical and grammatical points to this verse.
The assumptions that people gather, from this:
This is referring to all women
Women are to never ever speak in Church
And that is disgraceful for a women to speak at all in church.
Let’s look at the greek for this:
It doesn’t actually ready “women” It reads, The women. The definitive article might seem contrite, but it’s really not when we are looking at the true meanings of a sentence and its structure. This is important because we have to look at the next part of this. “They should ask their own husbands; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the Church.” Why would there need to be a distinction between The women and also their own? That is a bit odd, if this is blanked statement about all women and them not speaking in Church.
It is clear that these particular women are asking questions to people OTHER than their own husbands, that this is about women speaking out of turn and being disruptive and asking any one anything. You may think this is a stretch, but if a woman doesn’t have a husband, then why would Paul need to make this particular distinction, not just to ask their husbands, but to ask their own husbands.
The word for woman in greek is γυναῖκες gynaikes - This is also used for wife when it’s speaking in relation to giving husbands an instruction. (Colossians 3:18, Ephesians 5:22, 1 Peter 3:1). So this is clearly talking about the wives, whom Paul had gotten report about, that were spouting off and asking other peoples husbands, and not paying attention in Church.
The further reasoning for this goes to the next point which is contradictory to the command for silence - σιγάτω (sigatō).
Women are never to speak in Church
Paul didn’t just say that, but He said that it was disgraceful! Well - when looking at the instructions for wearing veils - Paul not only says that it’s ok for women to speak, but he would be including them in 1 Corinthians 14:29-32 of being able to stand with the men and prophecy.
      1 Corinthians 11:2 - 5
2I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you. 3But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, a and the head of Christ is God. 4Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head. 5But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head-it is the same as having her head shaved.
Now here is something so interesting - Paul is giving women instructions for wearing a head covering - while praying and prophesying!
Women speaking in the Church and Paul Approves
Is he then giving these women also the instruction to not speak and that it’s disgraceful for a woman to speak in Church? It can’t be. Because he is directly addressing their authority to be able to pray and prophesy in the Church. So thus this first instruction is to be looked at not in terms of ALL women - but a particular set of them, who were being rowdy, and asking men other than their husbands questions.
Going back to 1 Corinthians 14:29-32 and 1 Corinthians 14:27 - these are instructions not just for men, but ALSO for women. Thus everyone was under the exact same rules for being silent in Church if you weren’t speaking in tongues with and interpreter, prophesying, or doing another approved practice.
But again, isn’t it odd, that Paul would have to tell men to NOT cover their heads? This is because of the practices of the day when they would sacrifice to their pagan gods - that men would also cover their heads.
Further more - when we look at the rest of the discussion about women wearing veils - the discussion of long hair comes up.
      1 Corinthians 11:14
14Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him,
Here we have another rule for men that we don’t strictly enforce today with men having long hair.
But regardless, there are very few churches that make women wear a veil in church, I do not know of one personally.
So Now let’s head on over to the big boy 1 Timothy 2:12 - “I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.”
When looking at this all of the above is needed for the proper context into what this means, and the getting used to the idea of deeply looking at what the greek means, what Paul means, and the role of women in the Church.
I rarely hear, if ever, someone dig very deeply into this with the furor that is used for other issues, and this is why I totally understand your take on things.
So we have established in 1 Corinthians several things:
Paul seemingly said that women are to remain silent and that it’s disgraceful for them to speak
The use of the same greek word for silence used in relationships to Prophets and those speaking in tongues
The conclusions after digging into these are such:
The context of all of this is pertaining to having order in the Church and making it so that outsiders could come in and get saved
Paul clearly affirms women who pray and prophecy - as he speaks of the proper head coverings for them in relation to praying and prophesying
Thus Paul is couldn’t be referring to all women when he was speaking of instructions for them - as there would be a clear contradiction here
The rules were for men and women who were not in any authorized way participating in the learning and sharing of Christ and His Teachings (They weren’t teaching from the NT because it hadn’t been written yet)
Everyone was required to keep silent in Church

It doesn't say "the man" in verse 12. It uses the Greek word "andros" which means "a man" or "man", if there's no Greek word "tou" (the) prior to man. See 1 Corinthians 11:12 for example. Furthermore, 1 Timothy explains the reason for the letter in 1 Timothy 3:14-16 which is for how people will know to conduct themselves in the household of God (not in a marriage). Let's not miss that.
"Husband of one wife" isn't referring to mankind because there's contrast to wife. The word for man in the Greek never means mankind when there's contrast to wife/woman. Also, it's not just a play on words because 1 Timothy 5:9-10 uses the same Greek construct but reversed "wife of one husband" when talking about female widows. It's a gender specific designation for man.
Lastly, the marriage relationship of Adam and Eve is not the reference here. It's about the order of creation and Eve being deceived, which is a reference to all men and women, not just husbands and wives.
I recommend that everyone who has watched this video to please go re-read the scriptures and study it more in depth.

Joel 2:28” And it shall come to pass afterward,
    that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
your young men shall see visions:
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids
in those days will I pour out my spirit.
Acts 2:17 - And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Acts Ch 2:17 , was the Fulfillment of Joel 2: 28-29. Philippians 4:3 - And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and [with] other my fellowlabourers, whose names [are] in the book of life.
Acts 18:26 - And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto [them], and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.
Clearly we see Women in the New Testament engaged in significant ministry, performing valuable service in sometimes-difficult situations. This is readily seen in the Acts of the Apostles. Both Priscilla and Aquila spoke privately to Apollos at Ephesus (Acts 18:24-26. Further, women clearly played a significant role in the work of the Apostle Paul. In his letter to the Romans, Paul identified sixteen significant helpers in ministry (16:1-16), and at least ten of them were women. Who knows what the health of the church at Philippi would have been were it not for Lydia (Acts 16:13-15), apparently a benefactor to the church, and others such as Euodia and Syntyche (Phil. 4:2-3)? And of course, women made a significant contribution to Jesus' ministry. Luke showed appreciation of their financial support and company with Him (Luke 8:1-3).
